Linda Hamilton is the voice of Terminator past
Amidst all the reports about casting and filming of Terminator Salvation, the collective mind of the AfterEllen.com universe has put forth a single wish: the return of Linda Hamilton.
We should’ve been more specific. Linda Hamilton indeed will reprise her role as Sarah Connor — just not on camera. Hamilton has just finished recording narration for the lead-in to the movie.
Director McG earlier expressed hope that she also would provide voiceover at the end of the film, based on the tapes she made for her unborn son John near the end of the original Terminator. We don’t know yet if she agreed to do so, but I sure hope he asked her nicely.
C.H.U.D. reports that an individual who has seen the film said Hamilton’s voiceover is short, but works very well to set the stage for the movie. Hopefully having Sarah Connor introduce the action will provide the continuity that was sorely lacking in T3. Even if we don’t get to see her arms.

I don't know... If it's just the intro I can wait for DVD. It depends on who else is in it I guess.
I've been a Linda Hamilton fan since the 80s. I haven't been able to get into the Sarah Connor Chronicles with out Hamilton.
Yeah I couldnt really get
Yeah I couldnt really get into SCC at first either without Hamilton and with all the inconsistencies between the show and the movies. But then I just pretended that it was a show that was completely unconnected to the movies and I liked it. Love Summer Glau...sadly I'm not caught up on the current season, tho. Which is prolly a good thing since it sounds like its gonna be cancelled.
I'm a huge Linda Hamilton fan ever since I first saw T2 and I really wish she was in more movies/tv shows than she has been. It's just mostly been Indie stuff...which I like, but its usually harder and more expensive to get ahold of.

I too am a Terminator fan. I haven't seen T3 maybe I should before T4. I like that Action futuristic storyline....John Connor grows up. I am curious as to why Sarah(Linda Hamilton) is like the narrator. Will Sarah Connor show up in the film? Hmmmm. I felt like Terminator has to have a T4 especially with the television series Sarah Connor Chronicles help bridge the storyline plot (I know it may go off the air) and we see more of John's role in the series though. The T4 movie will help fill in the what ifs or what would happen for the future of humankind with John Connor in the picture. I feel that the producers did make the right move by continuing on with Terminator quest with John Connor leading the way. This is no different when Alien had numerous parts to it. This is coming from a writer's perspective.
It's cool LH is back...I sure did miss her. I,too, want to watch T2 now so I can oogle LH all over again.

I really thought I was the only one on the planet who LOVED Linda Hamilton! My girlfriend makes fun of me. I LOVE watching Terminator 2 just to see those amazing arms. I am not alone! Sorry...I got really excited. I can't wait to see the new Terminator film. Christian Bale is an amazing actor.
