The CW renews six hit series

By the way, why the hell haven't there been new episodes              the past few weeks? 

This rerun crap ain't cuttin it.

But I have quite a few friends that also watch Gossip Girl, so I wouldn't lose ALL my friends ;)

As for new episodes - tv.com says March 9th, and then I heard March 16th from someone else.  I'm guessing reruns now so maybe so they don't have to compete with both House AND Chuck? 

I don't watch much TV, but I loves me some Supernatural.  I'll admit it!  That show is too silly to not love!  I'm glad it'll be on for another season.  Although I've read online that the writers or something only want 5 seasons to the show.  Oh wells. I'll save the heartache for then!

I never thought I'd like GG and my friends didn't think I'd like it eather, but it's just so much fun! I'm glad it's going to be back, and I'm lucky enough to be able to express my love for the show publicly without being condemned.

The only other show out of these that I watch is Smallville, and I'm not so sure I'm happy about it getting another season. Tom Welling isn't his 6 pac-y first few seasons self and they don't have as much Lois as I'd like, but the beginning of the 8th season was great and a huge(!) improvement from the previous 3 seasons. Unfortunately they seem to have abandoned the good ways in the last few episodes, but the trailer for the next one looks promesing. If they can keep up the new high standart, then fine.

And get Clark flying already, you damn CW people.

ahhh the CW; i love that theyve (/ the WB's) been churning out guilty pleasures for the last 15 years. not going to lie, i couldnt get into smallville (depsite the hotties) and one tree hill continues to baffle me (though according to my roommate and various google searches, it's like the new 7th heaven for the network; consistently good ratings. most likely caused by the bevy of tween girls that still manage to find CMM irrestistable.)

... but oh, GG and ANTM! how exciting! more Dorota, more fantastic snark from Blair, more (but hopefully less) eyeliner on Little J! As for Tyra, she's freaking crazy. like bat shit. But entertaining, nonetheless. Plus, it's super exciting when i spot girls from cycle 7 in the coffee shop down the street, or judging me in spandex at american apparel (true story, i swear!).

okay, back to work, i swear. stuntdouble, why must i always comment on your posts??

sorry to post yet again, but why is some random chick's picture coming up on my posts?? it looks normal on my acct page!

Having grabbed the show on Netflix last summer for 'something to watch that was new to me' I really fell for One Tree Hill.  The cast is a talented bunch and the stories are generally really grounded (don't get me started with a few near Jump the Shark moments like Peyton's 'stalker' story).

Although lacking in any LGBT stories at this point I really dig the show and am glad to see it coming back.  The fast forward really put new life into the storytelling.

I am a big fan of "Smallville" because there are some really hot women on that show (Chloe, Lois, and Lana).  "Supernatural" is so pseudo macho, Jensen Ackles and his brother should be two gay men, not brothers.  How many demons can you kill?  And, I am sorry to hear that "Reaper" is being cancelled.  It's a satire, a fun show about the devil and his sad sack minions.  I am going to watch the last remaining episodes starting on Tuesday, March 3rd.  Besides, Missy Peregrym is hot!

YESSSS.

I am utterly addicted to ANTM.

Unless Tyra is bored of Top Model, CW would never cancel this show cause it's their breadwinner.

One Tree Hill is still on air? I can't believe it outlasts The O.C for that long when The O.C was so much more popular. I followed OTH until season 4 mainly because of the music on that show. 

I'm still bitter that Veronica Mars was cancelled :(

I'm really happy to hear about Gossip Girl. Maybe that security of another year will help the writers finish the season strong and with a bang. (Like a Blair and Serena kiss? Just askin)

BTW I love the recaps and all the comments and all the other coverage on Afterellen. I registered just to be able to comment on the recaps. (I know a dork reason to register) Since there's not a lesbian character or a real lesbian romance on the show I'm surprised there's so much coverage and blogs and stuff on here.  So thanks a bunch, guys!!!!!!!!!! 

Does anyone know why so many gay girls dig this show? I can't figure it out I just know it's true. Hah!
