"Cougar Town": Like "Desperate Housewives," but more predatoryCourteney Cox is moving to Cougar Town, a place where hot moms talk about Botox and having sex with the lights on. And, presumably, make out with younger guys. ABC studios gave a green light to the pilot episode this week. It is going to be produced, directed, and written by a team of Friends/Scrubs alumni, all of whom have "great comedic sensibilities" according to Cox.
I'm conflicted. On the one hand, it sounds sort of like MILF Island meets Wisteria Lane. On the other hand, it's nice to see any former Friend with a job. I never really got into Dirt, and Jennifer Aniston's movies just make me sad. Maybe the puppy will turn things around. Cox's character on Cougar Town will be a newly single 40-year-old mom with a 17-year-old son. I'll bet she sleeps with her son's best friend within the first six episodes. If Cougar Town is definitely going to happen, this is a list of people I'd like to see within the city limits: Julie Cooper, Kirsten Cohen, Lily van der Woodsen and Lorelai Gilmore. With a cast of women like that, I would hate on the show to everyone in the light of day, and then at night, I would sneak to the DVR and play it over and over, and then go running the next afternoon to the show's soundtrack, which I would load onto my iPod immediately after it aired. Cox's new show will start production in January and launch midseason. Will any of you watch ABC's Cougar Town? Or, better yet, how many of you would watch my version of Cougar Town? I was going to say throw Susan Lucci in there, but then I googled the list and I realized that she is on a different level of cougar dome. Like with, Meryl Streep, Cybil Shepard, etc..So, I would definitely DVR your version or something close to it. Especially, like someone else said, if they throw in some Lesbian Cougars..yup

I laughed so hard! :o) This show will be awesome, if Lauren Graham mixes it up. I adore her. She has te best kind of humor walking on earth right now. I can't stop laughing when she has her mouth open and some crazy words on the lips. In fact, I sometimes think there is more Lorelai in Lauren than the other way round. Great, great, great!
I really liked dirt
Dirt was amazing the first season, it was cool seeing courteny cox not playing Monica (so sick of friends) her character in dirt was more like her character in scream. So if courtney is playing a bitch in this new show I'd be up for watchin it.

If Julie Cooper and Lorelai Gilmore (or just Melinda Clarke and Lauren Graham) were on the show, I'm not sure that I'd ever be able to stop watching it.
I don't know...just the name
