I Don't Think So

Gossip Girl Is An Amazing Show & It Kinda Makes Me Want To Go Back To School Just A little

But Dawson's Creek By Far Is The Best Teen Show Ever Closely Followed By The Gilmore Girls Only Cause I Heart Lauren Graham In A big Way.

I Doubt There Will Be Any Lesbian Character Developments But If There Is I Hope It's Blair The Other Girls I Wouldn't Like To See

Oh GG...

Serena&Blair are pretty much the only reason I watch the show. I mean the drama is interesting but I love seeing Serena&Blair together in a scene, whether they're screaming at each other or in a close embrace. Blake&Leighton are some very foxy ladies.

Cat fight? Really?

To me, it looks more like Blair is asking Serena to hold still while she suckled.

Oh, maybe I am just reading too much into that photograph.

;)

...

I would say more wishful thinking

I can't wait!!!

I don't think we'll get anything the first half of the season, but let it marinate.  February sweeps could bring some interesting things to the table.  I'm all about Blair/Serena, but I think Blair/Vanessa might be the dark horse in the lesbian kiss running.  They mentioned Vanessa's sister is a lesbian in an episode so that might ruin it, but maybe this makes her "open-minded"  :)

Eww, or Blair/Jenny.  That would be really surprising, but Jenny has a little obsession with Blair and if you haven't seen the ep where Blair is changing in front of Jenny, do. It's the Wild Brunch.  With Jenny getting older and more confident this season, it's a possibility.

I just can't imagine them not taking it there with at least one character.  Between Blair's dad and Serena's brother, I feel like the lack of lesbian representation has breached the CW Fair Gay Agreement.  And I think making Blair half of the kiss should be mandatory in the fine print of said agreement.

Three more days!

Let's not screw up ANOTHER gay storyline

Gossip Girl is pretty awesome.  The whole Serena/Blair thing will probably never happen (Lily might die if she has two gay kids), but what about Eric?  Is he ever going to get a real boyfriend besides that jerk Asher?

I hope that Josh Schwartz makes up for wrecking the Marissa/Alex story on the O.C.  Of course Marissa was going to go back to Ryan, but couldn't they have made it happen w/o Alex going crazy and acting out of character in the end?

it's just like alex and

it's just like alex and paige from degrassi. before they break up one person has to go completely out of character and then suddenly move far far away. the faith of lesbian teenagers on tv...

Confession time

I have a few guity tv pleasures, but this show is by far the guiltiest.

When it first came out, I was like, "Oh Jesus, not another awful teen melodrama." And then I caught a promo and thought, "Ooooh, that brunette is rather cute, yeah really cute, and I really want her outfit. Maybe I'll try an episode." The episode was the field-hockey catfight episode. Needless to say, I was hooked.

Oh, and Blair and Serena need to get together ASAP! They are sooo not fooling anyone.

Surely The OC is the greatest teen drama of all time (despite them mucking up 'Malex')?!?!

Very much excited for the new season!  Just hope I get a TV in time!!

Lesbian subtext is great and all...

... but that's the text from the actual book? Well, well. I might just have to read the books after all.

And, hey, if Blair/Serena never actually happens, there's always the hot and fabulous fanfic to comfort us.

Serena/Blair

Serena and Blair are Gossip Girl's Buffy and Faith. The actresses have amazing chemistry and the writers add subtext but we're prolly never gonna get anything more than subtext.

Still love the show even though I get mocked for watching it. What can I say, I'm a sucker for american dramas centred around gorgeous, rich, white women.

they make out twice in the books!

i actually own all the books, and i initially didn't watch the show because it bothered me how much they changed, but i couldn't help myself cause blake and leighton are too hot and they have too much chemistry to stay away =P

in the books, nate and serena's affair wasn't a drunken thing at a wedding, it was a summer afternoon at nate's house, and chuck only knew because nate got drunk and told him; blair lost her virgininty to nate, not chuck, and nate is alot less stupid and chuck is alot more gay; eric is older than serena, he's in college, and he's very much straight; vanessa shaves her head and lives in brooklyn, dan lives on the upper west side, they're a couple and rufus is fat and a writer and has no history with serena's mom, nor does chuck's dad; blair has a younger brother and her mom gets remarried and gets a stepbrother who briefly dates both serena and vanessa (though they might still use part of this storyline in later seasons); georgina doesn't exist; dan goes through a phase where he thinks he's gay and dates a guy, then goes back to vanessa; jenny is a DD and brunette and makes out with her female best friend as an experiement.

and in the books, blair and serena sunbathe topless and make out in front of everyone at blair's graduation party, in addition to the drunken night in the hot tub.

But Georgie did exist. She had a history with Serena, but she fooled around with Nate when he went into rehab.
