Leighton Meester and Michelle Trachtenberg get close filming "Gossip Girl"

Spotted: Leighton Meester and Michelle Trachtenberg filming Gossip Girl's third season on the streets of Manhattan. Is it just me or are their faces awfully close together for two NYU roomies having a chat? Could this be Christmas come early? Careful, B, you know what they say: Flip one letter, and Santa becomes Satan.

Wow, that was so easy. I could totally be Gossip Girl — I don't even need tweens to send me cell phone photos; these images are all over Getty. Seriously, though: what is going on in that picture? Meester and Trachtenberg goofing off? Blair and Georgina hooking up? They did not teach that at Jesus Camp when I was a teenager.

And look, here's another one:

This time you know it's just paling around; B would never cheat on S with Vanessa.

Where is S anyway? Ah, there she is.

(It's not just me, right? I mean, you guys imagine that Blake Lively has her own makeup team following her around at all times to keep that whole goddess illusion going, right?)

And here's our ambiguously gay duo:

"You're not listening to me, S! I kissed Georgina Sparks on the mouth and I liked it, OK? Now, either I'm a full-blown lesbian, in which case we need to get married right away, or I need you to school me in the ways of drug-fueled threesomes so I can keep Chuck from jetting off with Poppy Lifton!"

    i was thinking the same thing about the Blair / Georgina pictures. Im not super thrilled about Tyra or Hilary Duff guesting, but I'm hoping their characters arent absolutely awful. cant wait for V's new man. and i've been loving all the scene shots of Chuck and Blair that have been popping up latetly. Season 3 is gonna be killer.

    this show is my little guilty fix i looove it. oh and i dont mean to be gramatically anal, but stunt double, i think you mispelled "rooming".

    Blair and Georgina can not hook up!!!! Only Blair- Serena, I think it would really strain bleightons relationship if Leighton kisses another girl even if its only for the show.....

    Blake needs to watch her girlfriend!! I mean look at the jessica/ leighton picture .....leighton ur a bad girl!!;-(

    ...that GG will in fact be gayer this season, though it will not hew close to the books

    in the books dan goes to college and "experiments" but in the show it will NOT be dan, so it could be blair and georgina...but i wouldn't hold my breath...think more of a godfather style "kiss of death"

    I regularly haunt the GG spoiler sites, but I hadn't seen that pic yet. Nice....but what does it mean?  It could totally be an off camera interaction, they're notoriously touchy-feely, those girls, but I have to express a sincere hope that it's on camera.

    I'm no Georgie/Blair shipper, but there's something about their hate/hate relationship that screams sexual tension.  And we've talked about this before, but come again-why is Georgina trying to room with Blair?  I know why I would room with her..... Are the GG writers so different from me?  Let's hope not.  Blair should not be trapped in a marriage to Chuck already- that would be intensely boring.

    Blair/Serena trumps all though.  I wonder if they'll ever touch on that....

    And I refuse to believe it was a weird camera angle! I just do! And as much as I wanted it to be Waldsen I'll take what I can get and enjoy it. Mama taught me not to be picky.

    And besides, we all know Serena and Blair already made out like a gazillion times in the never released deleted scenes. ;)

    I've never it seen it, but if they throw a lesbian into the mix, I will. I love that for the show's advertisments, they quoted the Parents Television Council as declaring Gossip Girl "mind-blowingly inappropriate." Ha.

    And the first pic with Blair and Georgina,perhaps an Eskimo nose rub? i refuse to believe anything happens between the two.urgh!!
