Jane Lynch sells us on XBox and fun

Having conquered the big screen, the small screen, the stage and Twitter, Jane Lynch is turning her attention to the final frontier: the video game console. The ubiquitous quipster is the fresh face and voice of Xbox, and their new marketing slogan — "It's more fun time!" — fits her perfectly.

In addition to starring in XBox's ptint ads and TV spots, Jane narrates the "more fun time" experience at XBox.com.

She also participated in some hilarious behind-the-scenes interviews while she was shooting the commercials. In the first one she answers the question: Are you real?


 

In the second interview, she reveals what she would do if fun grew on trees, and discusses her heroes. Also, she robs the craft services table.


 

In the final interview, she talks about the things she'd like more of (besides fun, obviously).


 

Jane's answer to "What would you do if fun grew on trees?" is my favorite.

"I would purchase myself an orchard, and I would create a delicious bottled version of fun called 'Jane Juice.'"

I'm a Wii and PS3 girl, so I don't see any XBox fun time in my future, but if Jane Juice were a real thing, I'd buy it in bulk at Costco.

    Hahaha. This is great. Jane Lynch is epic. I'm glad she's everywhere I turn.

    Buckingham Palace... it's what you think!! Best line ever. 

    Jane Juice? I'd be right behind you at Costco, bulking up.

    I've saved my pennies to finally purchase a PS3 (the Blue Ray gets me).  I can't wait to get my hands on Arkham Asylum...

    But, with one of my favorite funny lesbians shilling for X-Box, I'm torn.  Maybe I can have both?  

    I wonder what video games Jane would play.

    I'd like to play Mario Kart with her, I think.

    I'd also like to play a super-hero team up with her...like an X-Man Age of Apocolypse (Anybody remember that on Gamecube?)

    ...to get my hands on that game.  I hear it's like Metal Gear Solid but starring Batman.  Hard. Core. Superhero. Awesomeness.

    lol I love in the first one where she upzips the green jacket and underneath is another green jacket XD and I love her answer to "are you real?" I just expected at the end of it for her to say "and thats how Sue... Cs it." =P

    Wow, we're really glad everyone is as happy as we are that Jane Lynch is leading these videos.  She has a special skill for taking almost any situation and making it hilariously awkward.  These "Behind the Fun" videos are in support of the larger tv ads that are running which you can view on the Xbox YouTube, although these definitely show off Jane's talents more.  Thanks!

    that Jane Lynch lives in!  She obviously has a great sense of irony, and must immediately patent and market Jane's Juice.  It would no doubt be an immediate bestseller.
