Jackie Warner returns to Bravo with "Thintervention"

Jackie Warner, queen of reality TV lesbians, is on her way back to Bravo with a new show called Thintervention with Jackie Warner.

Originally, Bravo planned to replace Warner's first reality series, Workout, with Jackie's Gym Takeover, a Tabatha Coffey-style ass-whoopin ' for failing fitness centers, but now they've decided to go the Biggest Loser route and make the actual clients cry.

I, for one, am just glad Warner is sticking with Bravo. In my nightmares, she kept accepting the Bette Porter role on Showtime's developing catastrophe The Real L Word.

Thintervention will follow Jackie and several clients over the course of the season as she goes into their homes and gives their lives a fitness makeover. The press release is, frankly, a little terrifying:

In typical Warner boot camp style, she will accept nothing less than full commitment for change and will confront those that do not show her they are sincere with their fitness goals. Each episode of the one hour series will feature a grueling workout with Warner pushing her clients to their emotional and physical limits, a therapy session to get to the root of their weight issues, and a life lesson in nutrition such as grocery shopping or surprise raids of their home kitchens.

Boot camp? Surprise raids? Therapy sessions? Sure thing, just let me finish this bag of M&M's, k?

Thintervention is probably a good move on Bravo's part. It capitalizes on Warner's popularity and skill, while tapping into that pathos that makes The Biggest Loser such a hit for NBC. (In fact, with the exception of The Office and 30 Rock, it is kind of the only hit NBC has on its hands right now.)

I am a little bummed that we won't get to see any of that patented Warner relationship drama, but I'll bet we still get to see plenty of those patented Warner abs.

We'll keep you posted about Thintervention and let you know when Bravo plans to begin airing episodes. Are you excited about Jackie Warner's return to Bravo?

i hope they change the name

right now it just sounds like Intervention pronounced with a lisp. and they'll actually show working out on this show? i might watch it if i can learn something other than don't date an employee or crazy Brazillian woman. but if it's all about Jackie and her massive ego then pass.

interesting ... it just

interesting ... it just feels a little bit like she's trying to ride Jillian Michaels coat tails.

I'll watch it ... just as long as it's not sitting in the same time slot as the biggest loser.

When it comes down to it though, Jillian will always be my number one sexy bad ass bootcamp drill instructor.

Sounds interesting...

It's always better when they profile real people then when you have to just watch the trainers and their drama.  I got a bit bored with Jackie's show after awhile, but I do like reality TV and would give her new show a chance for sure.

Is she going against Jillian

Is she going against Jillian Michaels?? with UFO's she is trying to ride Jillian Michaels back xD only difference is that Jillan is straight (is she) and I think hotter in some ways, both of them are just as harsh on their clients though!. Maaaan this is goign to be firece competition and I can see Jilliam Michaels winning ratings because she is in regular tv whereas Jackie is on cable and some of us ,sadly, cant afford that right now!.

Yeah...

I love Jackie.  I will miss Workout, but look forward to her new show.  She didn't ride anyone's coattails.  She didn't need to.  She worked her behind off for every bit of her success.

I don't get why there needs to be this competition between them for some fans.  Both ladies are where they are because of their own hard work.  They both deserve the success they have achieved.

Reality Shows

There seems to be more and more reality shows on television today. The fitness ones are most likely the most beneficial. Congrats on this new venture and we will be waiting to hear more. blagues

Jackie\ Jillain

Check your history children.  JW and JM have a history.  They have ridden more than each other's coat tails.

EXCITED??? ABSOLUTELY

Jackie is pretty amazing if you ask me. I would love to see another Work Out but think Thintervention or whatever they decide to call it will be amazing too. She's a strong woman that isn't afraid to "be" who she is and make decisions that work for her. I think people have a hard time with that sometimes. Wether it be jelousy or a simple lack of the ability to appreciate her perspective.  I say live and let live...she seems to be doing pretty well and when she walks into a room people know it. You can feel the mojo...

xoxo Jackie!
