Im gonna miss it too. I am still not finished with watching the first season, but those recaps were AWESOME :)

Loved the recap much more then the actual episode, just like every single week.

I really needed to be able to find a way to laugh about this show today. Cheers. You're AWE-some!

I watched the first webisode just before the Last Word and all I could taste was sick for hours. Gross I know, but so was the webisode. Consequently, I watched the finale with Tina's confession in my head. Not good. I've been feeling like I've had food poisoning from being fed that load of off tripe - totally disoriented and sick to my stomach.

Thanks so much for the outright giggle. You have brought some good times to the dark days of season 6. I was thinking how much Jenny was being made into Mr Body throughout the whole ep. Blackmailing/manipulating everyone and then getting topped.

I think that Bette was drifting over into meta again and may have actually been describing Ilene when she said:        "Yeah I think her heart is in the right place... she's just misplaced her meds".

Honestly, I only watched this season so your updates would make more sense! The Facebook thing fits in well with the analogy I made about the show to someone last night, as though I'd be keeping up with their lives that way - 

The L Word is like your childhood best friend. In the beginning, you had some great times, you were excited about her, things were fresh and new, you loved each other and couldn't get enough of each other. You had inside jokes, you held hands on the playground, and you thought, "finally, someone who gets me." As time wore on, you grew apart. You fought, you disagreed with her decisions, you thought she was misguided and out of touch and a little crazy, and for it you liked her less and less. You still called on birthdays and holidays because it was the right thing to do, but it felt more like a chore than a genuine meeting of old friends. Finally, news comes that your old childhood friend has died. You don't know her anymore, her passing won't affect your everyday life, yet you feel bad, as though a little part of your childhood has died too. Simply sending a card would be too impersonal, especially given the impact this friend had on you when you were young. So out of a bit of guilt, but mostly out of sheer obligation, you attend the funeral to pay your respects to your deceased friend, or at least to the memory of what your friend once meant to you. 

This is why I watched season 6 of the L Word - Obligation to an old friend who wasn't what she used to be, but who had an impact on me nonetheless.

I still have not digested that this is the last episode or how it ended.

All I can say is Tina's confession=wtf and that the L word should just be left alone now since it wasnt that great. Just soft porn really. We need new shows representing us that dont suck quite so hard!
