Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" video is up for interpretation

The sunglasses made of razor blades! Hello, Salvador Dali! Holy crap, this video is frightening and insane and awesome. I am kind of obsessed.

Also it makes me wish I was back in school and a gender studies major so I could write a paper untangling this video's attitude towards sexual power dynamics, but maybe that's just me.

I'm seeing GaGa live in March. I love everything she does, she's weird and it's great.

until this video (is that worrying?).  some of the outfits are gorgeous and the bit with the fire is amazing.  i used to be abit meh about her but since NEM im finding her fabulous and i cannot escape her grasp.  

is the point of the video that shes being drunkenly sold into prostitution?  but the fire..... and the bear dress.  oh i just dont know but its just completly unique and brilliant.

I would expect nothing less from her. Crazy video. Crazy outfits. She's great and everything she touches right now turns to gold. Add this one to the list amazing Gaga hits. But definitely HOT!

I love the video, and I love Gaga.

The video concept is amazing. Her being a monster, and then getting sold to the Russian mafia.

Lady Gaga is brilliant, amazing, artistic, etc. and definitely one of my biggest inspirations.

I just watched the music video and for some reason I do find her more attractive than before...I don't know if it's because I'm used to her being completely loony or if she's actually gotten more beautiful.

Lady Gaga is doing great things in pop music right now. Her whole persona is a performance and everything she does is so amazingly over the top. How can you not love her, even if it's just for being that dedicated to her art?

A sexier version of the Lonely Island if you will. My guess is she has a crazy ideas bowl, closes her eyes and picks a few everytime she feels like making a song / a video / putting together an outfit.

Just so you know, my first thought when I see you is not "I want to fuck that girl".

Don't try and kid your self there. What bothers me is that this video must have freaked me out more than I thought it did. I just took a nap and in the dream my friend was in a bathtub wearing the orbit hoola-hoop thingy refusing to get out. I don't remember why that one little thing was just part of the dream but it was creepy.

Other than freaky dream I really liked this video. It's a change from her other videos like Just Dance and Poker Face. I liked the Paparazzi video. They just keep on getting weirder and weirder which in turn makes me like them more and more.

My friends and I practically have this video on loop--it's a crazy, crazy whirlwind of a story but it's also hella awesome. 

 I'm seeing her live January 3rd, could not be more excited. She can do no wrong in my eyes and that includes being totally hot, if not in what one would call a "traditional" way.

i liked her paparazzi video and when i saw this i was completely won over :D ive really been to places like the rooms shes in especially the bath haus scene she had, it looked like a room in this slaughter house i went to as a kid on a field trip (yeah sucky ass field trip XD) also their are building with rooms like that for ~clears throat~ other purposes too lmao

I didn't really care too much for Gaga, I liked her music but in the  fun sort of pick me up happy go lucky dance song. Then came the HRC National Dinner and NEM, and I have been slowly falling into her grasp. She is definitely captivating. She is weird but come on anyone who could put out all her creativity into something like the Haus of Gaga and her personality, has some sort of crazy genius. Her influences definitely played a part of who she is Versace,David Bowie, Queen, Madonna, MJ, just to name a few. All the craziness makes sense. I do watch her and see what crazy thing is she going to come up with next and she never disappoints.

I love her so much. I actually think she borders on genius. And i love the fact that something as crazy as this video will still top the charts.

You just can't pin her down at all. Like, the way she's about a million different characters in this video. She's fascinating.

This is the song that made me decide I love Lady Gaga. I didn't like the vid as much as I thought I would (Paparazzi is my fave so far) but it does make me want to keep rewatching. I can't stop listening to the song and I can't wait for her to start doing the rounds with live Bad Romances.

My favourite things are the polar bear coat, the black Wild Things hat and the closeups. I don't always find her attractive but she's absolutely stunning in the closeups - she also looks a bit like a sober Courtney Love, which isn't a bad thing. But in other parts she shows a bit too much skin for my taste...
