A new lesbian reality show could be coming to our TV screens

Forget about Tila Tequila, Flava Flav, Bret Michaels and all those other psuedo-celebs who have used television to find love — there’s a couple of reality TV stars who actually did find love and they want to show it to the world. Why should you care? Well, my dears, because you and I have probably asked for it: It’s a lesbian reality star couple.

The psuedo-celesbian couple du jour are Lisa Rizzo and Brooke LaBarbera, who took to their joint Twitter account to hint at the new show for several weeks. The latest:

For those of you who actually stuck around for season 2 of A Shot at Love, you might remember Lisa. Personally, I couldn’t get over the fact that Dani wasn’t picked during the first season so I boycotted everything Tila-related (except for actual tequila). From the fan videos I’ve seen of her, and the video footage she’s shot on YouTube, she seems like an incredibly down-to-earth practical joker from Jersey.

Brooke, I remember vividly (sometimes in nightmares), from her stint on The Real World: Denver. If you don’t remember which of the castmates she was, just watch the first 10 seconds of the ~~screaming~~ “previously on."

Normally I’d be like, “Oh there is no way in hell I want to revisit that,” but I want to give Brooke the benefit of the doubt when it comes to changing. In fact, it seems as though even she wasn’t pleased with her former self.

Brooke was "straight" when she was on The Real World, but later showed off her Sapphic side when she engaged in some make-out sessions with out lesbian Evelyn on some of the Road Rules/Real World challenges. Also, she's listed as a "speaker on LGBT issues" with the MM Agency. (Also, "anxiety, depression, overcoming fears, conflict resolution, communication, and growing up in Nashville.")

The girls are celebrating their first year of coupledom in the next few months, which is great. I totally wish them well and hope that their relationship can survive the cameras. Would you be tuning in if it becomes a, um, reality?

I would have to disagree with you on that, the high look is sooo sexy...

but Lisa always seemed liked super dyke to me, didn't she win like all the competitions? eh, I'll tune in for the lesbian fact and i hope it works out for the two, but I still wish it were Dani.

I love the idea of there being a lesbian reality show....but WHY THEM?!?! I highly doubt it'd be on air long, it just doesn't seem appealing in the slightest bit.

If it was Dani, I would be really really happy. My reaction would have been similar to when I found out that Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis might be sharing a love/sex scene.

I can feel my legs with this news.

Plus Brooke is nuts, in a good way but still nuts.

Especially when I'm alone.

I think i'm on the same wavelength as you as to why I'd want Dani on my TV ALL THE TIME.

I will jump up and down when it's announced that there's a reality show that's not about two thin, stereotypically attractive femmes who have BOTH already been on reality television.

I think it's when she walked out in her firefighter outfit, I was in lust. Since then I started to consider women who are not so femme!

I seriously think she should have a show or something. If it was a dating show on Logo, I would watch, hell I might even sign up and make a ham (hot ass mess) out of myself.

I would have to watch a few episodes. I get sick of reality TV fast. So if it doesn't hook and pull me in within 2 episodes I may have to pass. BUT I am intrigued none the less. :)

That whole show was a joke....but lisa was seamed like a douche to me. The way she talked to Tilla...I will not be tunning in, rather watch Law & Order.
