"Sarah Connor" eye candy: How to pass the time until January

Last week I showed you my dream 2008 calendar. Since then, I have been trying to decide what to do with myself until January rolls around so I can officially adorn my cubicle with said calendar. Unfortunately, Bionic Woman, despite Michelle Ryan's abs and Katee Sackhoff's early appearances, is doing nothing to help me pass the time. So I decided to count down the days until the premiere of the next show I can't wait to see, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

We've been keeping an eye on this show, and really, can you blame us? What could be better than Lena Headey fighting for the future of humankind?

Wait, I know what's better than that. A little help from Summer Glau certainly can't be worse.

I've found some lovely Sarah Connor eye candy to hang in my cubicle, not to mention a few videos to watch over and over again. This is the poster I'll be hanging up where it might be viewed by other folks in the office.

These three are going on my desk, facing away from the door. Can't have the boss catching me drooling over Lena Headey in that tank top, now can I?

Speaking of the boss, when I'm sure she's out of the office, I'll be sneaking a peak at these three clips from the show.

If those clips aren't enough for you, check out this one. May the subtext be with you.

These next two posters will never make it to the office.

I'd rather enjoy Summer Glau's naked upper body in the privacy of my own home, thank you very much. And I think I'll blow up the second one and hang it from the ceiling over my bed. Have I ever mentioned that I have a thing for women with very large guns?

To quote Dorothy Snarker, "Is it January yet?"

    Bionic woman vs. Sarah Connor

Bionic woman started out alright. There was an amazing chemestry between Katee Sackhoff and that other one, and that made up for all the bad acting, and all the predictable plotlines. Cause whenever Katee was on the screen it was magical, you could practically see the sparks flying from one to the other. And that made the other one a better actor.

I can't wait for the Sarah Connor chronicles. I mean Lena Headey? And Summer Glau? Yaay... And there are guns (has a thing for women with big guns too) and stuff blowing up...And did I mention Lena Headey? And Summer Glau?

And if it comes down to a fight, my money is on Lena Headey. Unless Katee Sackhoff makes an appearance...

Lena just may rival Linda in the Big Guns Dept.

Have to agree that I was looking forward to both these shows--but Bionic Woman seems to have forgotten one of the most important ingredients these past few weeks.  Without Katee it's much less interesting!

Now as far as Lena Headey, yummmmm!  This looks so promising!  I'd only previously seen the single poster of her with her big gun!  And that alone has me drooling!  As a fellow fan of women with (big) guns...must say, I'm not sure anything will ever top the injured Linda Hamilton in T2 pumping her rifle singlehandedly (drool!)...buuuut, I'm so looking forward to seeing what Lena does...with her guns, and elsewhere!  However, knowing that this show will be on Fox, I'm not going to keep my fingers crossed on too much lesbian teasing let alone outright storyline!  This is Fox after all (and after The OC, I can't help but not trust them to do any kind of justice to any lesbian/bisexual storyline!)!  Still, this makes January worth looking forward to!

    wowee

ok, i'll admit i wasn't all that excited about this show. i love lena headey but i don't really like the movies that much.

but i have the day off (yay for being a government worker in canada today!)...and i watched all the clips. first just to see what it looked like...and then the rest because i actually found it enthralling.

    conclusion: is it january yet?

    Waiting til January

I saw the full pilot at ComicCon and it was amazing. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed.

Buh bye Bionic Woman! Hellooooo Sarah Connor!

I've seen the pilot as well, and I must say, I really think this will be the show that actually delivers on the "hot woman who kicks a lot of ass" promise without reducing it to some b---s--- camp.

Let's just hope they don't try to pair her up with a bumbling, overly talkative, whiny CIA agent who looks and acts like every other generic American male.

You've seen the pilot? Lucky! I've given up on BW entirely. The awful writing and Sackoff-less episodes did me in. A woman can only tolerate so much before she cracks.

I definitely like me some Lena... Dunno when or if this airs in my country.

The subtext is strong in her

I thought I'd transcribe the "text" part of that subtexty vid. Here it is. Ahem:

Sarah Connor (Lena Headey): Get it done before he gets back.

Cameron (Summer Glau): I'll get some ice.

    Sarah: Do it now.

[Cameron grabs Sarah and lays her on the back of the pick-up truck. Sarah gets in just the right position as the firelight dances in the shadows between them. Cameron rips Sarah's shirt open and takes in Sarah's vulnerable, exposed body. Sarah moans in painful anticipation of Cameron's expert fingers. Finally, Cameron begins her handy work.]

    Sarah: We can't keep running.
