TV alerts: "Gossip Girl," "ANTM" and other premieres, plus Ellen and Ali on lateThe CW's new show Gossip Girl starts tonight at 9:00/8:00c. It sure has been getting a lot of press lately, possibly simply because of its slightly salacious title. We'll have a mini review right here on the blog later this week, so watch it tonight if you want to form your own opinion before we slant your perspective. Oh, and right before that (at 8:00/7:00c), watch America's Next Top Model so you can figure out what Dara, Karman and Jill are talking about in their video blog. Other fall premieres tonight include the misspelled 'Til Death (8:30/7:30c on Fox), the new Kelsey Grammer vehicle Back to You (8:00/7:00c on Fox) and the controversial Kid Nation (8:00 on CBS). Meanwhile, two girls we like to gossip about stop by the late-night talk shows: Ellen DeGeneres will be on Late Night With David Letterman on CBS. And you can watch Ellen and Dave now on the Late Show website.
And Ali Larter will be on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on NBC. She'll probably be promoting Resident Evil: Extinction, in which she looks like this (yow):

hahaha, Gossip Girl already
hahaha, Gossip Girl already premiered here in Canada lastnight. I didn't wanna watch it, but I did...just so i could write about it on my site.
So if you dont care to read my recap about it and spoil it for yourself, then check it out at my site: http://www.saiyit.co.nr
I'll have to PVR ANTM tonight and watch it when I get back home. I hope this season is good because the past seasons have been kind of boring and quite the let down (especially the outcomes).
But I cant wait for the ANTM blog. It's definitelly gonna be good, i can just sense it! Lol
Ali Later
it's going to be hard flip
We'll be watching ANTM & Gossip Girls
Watched Gossip Girl last night
my advice: skip it.
just another teen drama, extremely predictable, horribly acted and just plain cookie cutter, an-OC-deja-vu type of deal a guaranteed yawn. Who cares about the life of a bunch of privileged white kids from upper Manhatten?
We've seen too many just like it so many time before, and we're far too old for this genre anyway, non? ;)
yup

I just finished watching the season premiere of America's Next Top Model and now I'm highly anticipating your video blog on it. Who's your early pick to win it all? Did you find anyone particularly annoying? Which girls do you think are most likely get into a fight this season?
I realize that some of the devices that you used on your South of Nowhere video blog can't carry over to an ANTM video recap...like the dolls...but I know I'd appreciate it if you continued to do reenactments. I'd love to see y'all imitate the girls' runway walks--I'm sure it'd be hilarious.
Oh, and if you feel inclined to reenact that scene between Lisa and Saleisha, I'd be perfectly alright with that as well...
Thanks,
pecola

Also, I'm watching the "Gossip Girl" pilot right now--I wouldn't say I'm lost, but there seem to be a lot of plot points that aren't connecting. Don't think I'll be watching this show again.
ANTM
Resident Evil w/ Ali Larter
First off, I've been waiting for them to bring Claire Redfield into one of these frickin' movies! Finally, we get the character and who is playing it? Ali Larter. I love them, I really do. They could have gotten anyone to play her, but they chose Ali. Why? because she fits it. I was pleasently surprised with this and I'm looking forward to seeing Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter now.
