All joking aside that's too bad for her. Generally speaking hard drinking women can get to the alcoholism stage earlier than men because of their size. They just don't have the weight and metabolism of men so they get in trouble with alcoholism quicker than men drinking the same amount of alcohol and with the same frequency. Genetics plays a role too of course. Maybe it's the lesbian closet that she's drowning in. Come out Michelle and live free!

While DUIs or DWIs deserve punishment for the act; there is such a thing as "Justice is blind". Which this is obiviously Not!!! Besides, no substantial proof was apparent in their decision to overturn Michelle's plea agreement regarding her DUI in Hawaii last year...
This is nothing more than blatant racism!

LOSTSOUL....First of all if she didn't break the law and drive drunk(or what about that 'hit and run' , tickets, driving with suspended license, oh and lets go way back ,beating up her roomate blah blah blah)...screw up during probation several times...or drink maybe. Then they wouldn't have a reason or an excuse to 'pick' on her and we wouldn't be talkin' about this. She needs to get it together, you failed to mention why they brought her back to court, because SHE broke her probation! Trying to say she's doing probation work and meanwhile across the country, please. I don't even feel sorry for her cause she tried to get over and got caught. And I'm a fan but I refuse to make excuses for her.
If i recall the first time around they gave her 60 days and she served 4 hours and rather than see that as a blessing, she still tries to get over during her probation. Oh, and wasn't that 60 days a result of her breaking her previous probation with that Hawaii DUI? A Hawaii DUI that she committed -not the cops- not the racist judicial system..Michelle. A DUI while you already on probation wasn't the smartest thing to do.
If it's about racism, why even give em' a reason to lock you up. I'm a women of color and I know how it is, once you open that door you screwed yourself.
Michelle's not innocent here ,she has a lil bit of a rap sheet and it's because of HER actions initially that this all started. So the first person you should be pointing you fingers at is her before you start crying racism. Look racism is here. It was here before me and looks like it's not going anywhere anytime soon and in knowing that as a person of color you do your best to keep your stuff right, don't give em anything. And No it's not a joke..she should have known better to do the things that have gotten her to position in the first place, she shouldn't have opened the door for them to bring on the bullshit.

Yea, I liked Michelle Rodriguez, if she'd grow up a little. Just a tad bit. She's in her 30's now and still butting heads with the law. She's a smart girl, and she could have a great career, but she's too busy partying. She could have been different than the other girls, like Lindsay, Paris, Nicole, man I'm tired of hearing it. She's worse because she is another celebrity who hasn't made use of her image to take her life to somewhere she wants it. I understand being famous gets lonely, and there's alot involved, but as a celebrity, you have fans that adore you, and this is the best you can do? It's not funny when someone dies from your DUI or a hit and run. Halle Berry got away with 2 hit and runs, the 3rd one I hope no one frickin' dies. It seems the courts are alot harder now on famous people than they use to be, and we know why.

alright i love michelle rodriguez .. but after a DUI and then drinking while on parole.. she may be hot but she still deserves it... i agree it seems like a double standard compared to all the other celebrities in hollywood.. but they all deserve a lot worse. fine if you want to endanger your own life.. but theres no excuse for endangering other people .
that having been said i do feel bad that she has to report to jail on christmas eve and spend christmas in jail.. that seems a little sad. but who knows she might have a gay old time.. literally.. watch the next thing we hear about her.. she will be like the prison version of "Shane" .. cause everyone loves a hot bisexual bad ass with attitude

Ugh, I hope she learns from this I really do. She continues to self-destruct. It's a shame too, I think she is very talented and I believe she is a very intelligent person, but she continues to make the wrong choices.

I was gonna mention the same thing about Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie isn't white. Her biological parents were of black and possibly Latino heritage. The only reason Nicole isn't doing hard time is because her father is Lionel Richie.
If Michelle did the crime, she needs to do the time, or at least get herself a better lawyer, or at least a lawyer to the stars who can sweet talk a star-struck judge.

I feel sorry for her, sorta. Not because she has to go to jail, obviously if you break the law repeatedly you should espect ending up there. But she obviously has issues (probably just mostly with her self) to keep up this sort of behaviour. In addition to getting herself a better lawyer, she should get hersef a good psychotherapist.

We'd support her and have, even for the other trouble she's gotten into. No one is trying to kick her while she is down, but you can't help someone who doesn't want the help. See what I mean? Michelle is a big girl, she can handle herself and I'm quite sure she knows what she's doing. She's made all the choices here. As fans the only thing you can do, is hope that she turns it all around somehow.. and not for her fans sake, but for her own life. She's too young to let it all turn out like this, and heading down a dangerous path since she stumbled on the celebrity scene.
Sure there are other worse celebrites, but.. Michelle doesn't have to be one of them. She's probably under alot of stress and having a hard time not being able to truly express herself. There are probably hidden reasons as to why she keeps doing what she's doing, but.. it's to the point that even she should know it's above her head, and that she needs to seek help. Michelle will always get support, but you can't ignore, ignorance.

Just because some of us are not in bizarre mourning over the fact that some one you like has hit a rough patch does not mean only YOU have a valid view point or perspective on this woman's situation. I'm not kicking her why she's down. I just wanna know why is f... up you know. She's a great actress. I support her. I just want her to change. Change is hard when you got issues you battling. Maybe some folks can be be by her side. I rather be behind her from a distance encourging her to not to give up. I try to distance myself from Trouble based from my own experiences.
