Kate Clinton and the "Gay Agenda"

Yes. Absolutely. Beyond smart.

But sometimes she makes me feel as though I'm in a lecture hall, and not a comedy club. I like to think that I'm a fairly intelligent, educated woman, but she can lose me.

Despite that, I'm looking forward to her vlog. :-)

Kate Clinton's sass just wins me right over. I actually kinda love that lecture hall feel you get when listening to her...she can educate AND entertain!

I've seen her a couple of times doing standup... I like her very much! And I had the same word association with Hillary!!! Ha! great minds think alike! I had her book too, at least one of them, but with the moving to Germany, I left many boxes in the US...

She helped me come out almost 30 years ago by showing me that I didn't have to lose my sense of humor!

As to the lecture format, her early stuff is still perhaps her funniest. Less political. So hard to really laugh at what's going on now, it's all just so pathetic.

And she went to my college!

kate is my absolute favorite comedian. laughing with her political, feminist humor has gotten me through many a hellish day. i cannot wait for the vlogs.

I cannot stand Kate Clinton. Her contributions to The Advocate (where I first heard of her) are bad enough, but live she is . . . insufferable!

Not funny, not likeable! She may be smart, but I can't get past her smugness and lack of talent. Please do not give her any more publicity than she has already.

I'd like to say I've been a fan forever, but I didn't "discover" her until fairly recently.  Bad lesbian! She cracks me up so much I have to grab my inhaler.  I love smart, funny women and she absolutely gets it.  Did anyone see her LOGO special from her It's Come to This tour for her 25th Anniversary?  It's priceless.  I can't wait to get the dvd.

Is for Kate Clinton to run for president she'd also be in the snow balls chance in hell category...but hey...at least she would be the real life counter part of man of the year...and...she'd make the nation laugh at it self.
