"Get Terminated" and get virtually close to Lena Headey

Posters for The Sarah Connor Chronicles are all over New York City buses these days. The ominpresence of Lena Headey and her big gun is enough to make you feel like you're living in a futuristic apocalypse. (Frankly, simply walking out the door makes me feel like that, but never mind.)

Well, thanks to the magic of the Interweb, you too can pretend you're in a futuristic apocalypse with Lena. Fox has launched GetTerminated.com, "the site that allows you to become the ultimate terminator." You can upload an image and insert yourself into a scene from the new series.

Here's what happened when I uploaded a picture of Grover from Sesame Street:



I've just freaked myself out and cracked myself up.

    I really hope this show rocks.  Lena. Big guns. Terminators. How could it not?

    I just rented the first two Terminator movies so that I would have the proper background to begin watching this series. The movies were great, but not surprisingly, I like the fact that the tv show seems to be more centered on Sarah and this girl from the future. It seems to have a lot of promise. I hope it lives up!

    About the poster, it's very cool, but I wish Sarah were a little more ripped and intense looking, like Linda Hamilton.

    I wish Lena could speak the Sarah role with her British accent...I know, all of the Terminator Geeks would go haywire about that.  I do not mess with GEEKS!

    You've got one more chance to prove that your actually a network to respect. If this turns out to be as weak as Bionic Woman and you cancel it, I won't hold it against you. But if its of the quality of all of the other great shows you have killed in the past (Firefly, Wonderfalls, etc.) I am done with you.

    ...is enough to make me think about a trip to NYC.  As a Brit we haven't had the pleasure of these adverts, so thanks for the blog post.  That one is a keepa for sure, Lena can be the mother of my destiny any day!!

    Unfortunately, my partner refuses to watch anything broadcast FOX unless it's recorded so we don't watch their commercials.  I have to record Bones so I'll be recording this new series.  Their history with Sci-Fi doesn't bode well.  I mean what kind of idiot would cancel Firefly.

    I enjoyed the original Terminator movies and I am interested that  this is women centered, so I hope they do a good job of it!
