TV alerts: A Sunday date with Tina Fey, plus Latifah on Leno tonight

On Sunday, Sept. 30, Bravo is airing a 30 Rock mini-marathon. The six episodes on the slate include "Blind Date," otherwise known as "How to Make AfterEllen.com Readers Grin for Days." That's the one in which Liz Lemon goes on a blind date with a lesbian, played by Stephanie March.

The one with the Isabella Rossellini catfight is also on the schedule ("Black Tie"). I can't really describe that one — you have to see it to believe it. But I can tell you it's awesome.

30 Rock returns Oct. 4. The season premiere features guest star Jerry Seinfeld, otherwise known as Not As Hot As Stephanie March.

Meanwhile, Queen Latifah stops by The Tonight Show tonight on NBC. I doubt Jay Leno will ask her to clarify her comments about gay marriage, but maybe he'll ask her to ride a motorcycle.

    That picture seals it. Latifah can't be gay. No self-respecting dyke would be caught dead riding a Harley in track sneakers.

    Of course, denial isn't exactly a sign of self-respect either.

    The Isabella Rossellini epi is definitely something to be seen.

    Oh, when IR says that she wants to sit on a knife...I cringe and laugh, and then laugh some more :) Gloriously over the top, but still, you know, relevant in that way that it *means* something. And now I'm hungry for a big beef and cheddar Arby's sandwich.

    It's a little late notice, but today's episode of Oprah features the stories of growing up transgender called Born in the Wrong Body.

    Stephanie March is hot.  I thought she kicked ass in L&O SVU as the ADA, I miss her on that show as well.  I will watch 30 Rock this season, I only caught a few episodes last season, and one of the few I did catch was "Blind Date".

    The best Isabella Rosselini/Bianca quote comes from the episode after "Black Tie," after Jack tells her he wants the Arby's franchises they own: "Oh, damn it, Johnny, you know I love my big beef and cheddar!"

    Needless to say, I believe October 5 cannot come quickly enough.

    I can't even begin to explain how much I love Tina Fey. She is the funniest woman on TV. I liked her ok on SNL but I think 30Rock is fantastic. She SO deserved that emmy.

    I can't wait to see the blind date episode because I missed it twice when it aired finally saw it online only to be interrupted because of site maintenance.

    The ONLY episode of 30 rock i have seen is the Stephanie March episode. That was 3 days ago...im still smiling scribe!!!

    God who in their right MIND would turn down Stephanie March. I cant believe L&O:SVU let her go...(well at least they've still got Mariska)
