WGN going out on top
So, in the spirit of knowing when to leave the party, it felt like it was time for me to make the call, and free the vloggers up to work on other projects they might be more passionate about. I know many of you are disappointed, but all good things comes to an end at some point, and I hope we can all focus on the wonderful impact the WGN vloggers have had on the AfterEllen.com community, and look forward to seeing them in other projects on the site.
WGN going out too soon
I respect your decision to end WGN, but I still think it was a bit hasty. Some of the vlogs recapping season 1 of The L Word were noticeably weaker than what we had come to expect from them, but that's just a testament to how great they can be together, and their recent episodes have been completely up to par with earlier vlogs.
Once a week may be too much, and re-capping an old show probably wasn't the best idea, but why not have them get together once a month, or for limited runs? At least give us a farewell episode. Sorry, I'm still in the bargaining stage of grief.
I've been reading AfterEllen since 2002 and I'm impressed with what you've done with it over the years. We're Getting Nowhere was such an important part of that growth, it's going to feel like a limb has been severed. I enjoy most of the other vlogs, but nothing compares to Jill, Dara and Karman together. Best wishes and good luck to them with whatever they go on to do.

While it will be sad to see WGN go I totally understand the choice to end it. It was always funny (seriously there were a few times I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard); and Jill, Karmen and Dara rocked it out every week.
So sad to see it go but looking forward to seeing them succeed in their new endeavors! Thanks for a awesome vlog!

I can understand a bit better the position everyone was in, concerning the show.
It does seem to be the logical step. I know that Jill will be doing the 2nd season of 3Way (*yay*!), Karman is doing YCTTA!. Finding the time to do everything would have surely proved a problem, sooner or later. But I would be lying if I didn't say I'm still sad about it. But as mentioned above, there are still many ways that we can stay in touch with the terrible 3. :)
(I do hope they do the odd show here and there for special occasions! *cross fingers*)

my thinkings on the matter..
I agree, its good to have many browsers.. while I am pretty sure I prefer firefox, many things (not all and I'm seeing more and more pages which say they work best in firefox) are created with IE in mind which I guess makes sense since it's the default for windows users and many people don't even think about trying anything else. I had a problem one time submitting an essay before a deadline because the Opera browser kept telling my my password was wrong when actually it wasn't, and it was only when I switched to IE that I could submit it (too late sadly), so that's even worse that something not working, 'cus it didn't say it didn't work, it mislead me and made me waste loads of time. SO thats a cautionary tale of why to keep IE even if you use other browsers more because had IE had an incompatability everybody would have known about it, it was my having a lesser used, less combatible browser which caused the problem.
Personally I find the video sometimes stops after the ad (which often has audio even when muted) when I have many tabs/stuff open esp. other vids, its like it can't handle it or something, I find its less likely to happen if I am on that tab until the ad is safetly gone and the actual vlog has started (sometimes press play and mute it whilst the ad loads hence me discovering those two things). Personally using what I just said as a guide I've always got it to work within a few tries and never actually tried it in IE but that may be an easier option.
Finally, I found an addon for firefox called "IE Tab" which lets you open a link in an IE tab https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 - The description says "This is a great tool for web developers, since you can easily see how your web page displayed in IE with just one click and then switch back to Firefox," so it may be that the change is only aesthetic and doesn't actually mean it'll make stuff work in firefox which would usually only work in IE, I have no idea since I don't know stuff about this stuff.. :S but maybe it does, who knows?

I've been a grateful user of IE Tab for years and it has never let me down. Netflix (streaming movies) and other websites that only support IE work perfectly when I click that little icon in the bottom right thanks to PCMan!!!"Try this...
So try this. Instead of viewing the video on the same page that lists all the other posts by a writer, click into the page that lists the comments! It works for me every time!
You can also try removing the flash plug-in and re-installing it. That will get tedious after a while but will work!

Truer words were never spoken! I have my dad's stride and I don't walk like a woman at all! Except most people can't tell I'm a dyke! They get so flabbergasted when I finally tell them! They are surprised to meet a lesbian that doesn't mind men, can't fix anything, is not a vegitarian, despises sports with a passion, knows jack about a car, and doesn't own a piece of flannel! Who knew we existed?

I can't get over the re-enactments in this episode...F-ing GENIUS! So dirty in all the right ways! Jill should seriously consider comedy, she had me laughing out of my chair.
"I can't believe I'm about to go down on Dana Fairbanks." ...Was I the only one whose legs clamped together watching that scene!? I think I even let out a little yelp for Dana the on the first viewing. Creepy!
Lastly, some stereotypes have merit...I've been told my whole life that I walk like a guy. And even though I can't put my finger on it (no pun intended) there really is something different about the way straight girls talk and walk. The dead give away for me is watching girls hug people. I can always tell. Weird.

Cats Vs Dogs
It's not that I don't like cats, it's that I'm hideously allergic to them. My face goes all puffy and my eyes run... lol sounds attractive. So I'm defo a dog lesbian. But I'm not anti-cat. Anithistamines, yes.

I am hideously allergic to cats as well. Same deal as you... I get welts, and one of my eyes goes flat and leaks vitreous fluid for hours (so my cornea deflates) which means I can't see out of it, My nose would run so much and I would sneeze so much I often get blood noses too, there is also wheezing amongst other things but to fix the problem, I got a cat. Took a while but my body built up an immunity to my particular cat, which has also lessened the severity of my allergies around other puddy-tats..which is a blooming good thing cos i love cats.
