We're Getting Nowhere: "The L Word" Season 1 "Liberally"

My week isn't complete without this vlog.

Wow, those cats scared the sh*t out of me when they ran across the first time. It was awesome :D.

No I haven't been watching the re-airing of the Lword season 1 on logo. I live in Canada and we don't get logo up here, well at least the last time I checked which was a while ago. Even if I did get logo I wouldn't be watching the episodes. Downloaded them all and I later purchased on DVD when they were available. This reminds me, I can't wait til 3way is available on DVD. I hope that is still on.

Great vlog as always ladies.

I want to begin by acknowledging Ms. Dara Nai, it's just not said enough that YOU ARE GORGEOUS! That beautiful complexion and that smile those lips, you really are super hott and so smart and so funny and I really like your interviews, they're always so funny! And like I've said before Dara as long as your t-shirts are cool you can wear them as much as you like:-) 

Ok, secondly I for one do not watch The L Word on Logo, I own all the seasons on DVD, but even so I just haven't watched an episode of The L Word since the 5th season aired.

Unfortunately, I don't have Logo. I do have season 1 on DVD. I just don't care to take the time to pop one in. I'd rather just watch WGN.

I'm not really all that "girly" but *cringe* I hate to admit it, a lot of my confidence comes with my hair. If it looks bad, then I feel really unattractive and uncomfortable...maybe I should go back to therapy. I too have gone out just because I was having a good hair day...

...and any girl with curly hair that takes 45 minutes to straighten (just to have it curl up in bad weather) knows what I'm talking about.

On another subject...I remember the 1st season well enough to where I don't need to re-watch them. I just watch WGN all on its own.

-I'm pretty sure they're called "Real Dolls". I've seen the episode of Real Sex that Karman mentioned, and I've seen a couple of movies on them i.e. Lars and the Real Girl and Love Object.

i went to class 5 minutes late to see this. im the kind of person who HATES being late. lateness in general, but i had to.

I'm always amazed how the most unusual french words are used in other languages lol But it's so cute when it's said by non french speakers!

Anyway, just a little post to tell you, how much i love this vlog. I check the website every thursday evening... a lot, eager to see if the brand new WGN has been posted. It's a ritual now. I discovered the vlog and afterellen just a few weeks ago and i already saw every single one of your 40-ish pieces of bliss (even the AMNT!! I'm so not the type of person who watches this kind of shows). You girls are so funny. It's nice to see real friendship and real interactions between people. Nowadays everything that is shown by the mean of any media lacks so much of this authenticity. Thank you so very much for those, it's really refreshing (and so damn hilarious)! ;)

For the 5th season of the L Word i was watching the episode then the recap before watching the next. Now, that you're making the 1st season i'm just watching you're recaps since we can't watch Logo in France. It's nice to rediscover the 1st season through those videos of yours. A little googling once in a while when you're refering to things or people that are part of the american culture (those facts or people that didn't get past your borders) and everything's fine! :p

Plus, i love all those references to Tina Fey/SNL "I can do this!"

Does anyone actually watch Logo? I did rewatch the first season on DVD just so I'd know what you're all talking about. I have to say, it's fun but it was better the first time around.

Awesome reenactment. That was some very awkward hair patting. Funny how you guys complain about disturbing reenactments, yet you keep doing them.

No.  Why?  Because they chopped it all up - no bad words, which means every third word is cut out, and no sex.  Did I mention, no sex?  What's the l word without all the sex?

Besides, I have all the seasons on DVD, except season 4, which I refuse to buy because I don't need to watch them kill off Dana over and over again.  I've seen each season at least four times so I know what you're talking about and I enjoy your recaps, especially the reenactments.

It won't play for me. Its just a blank screen. Any ideas anyone? Is it because I'm in the UK?? Please help!!
