Dinah 2008 AfterEllen.com AfterNoon: ImprovThe second half of the AfterEllen.com AfterNoon at Dinah last week was a hilarious train wreck — or "cluster screw" as our host Michelle Paradise politely called it — of comedy improv starring several of the AfterEllen.com vloggers: Cathy DeBuono, Jill Bennett, Marnie Alton, Karman Kregloe, Dara Nai, and Bridget McManus.
Dee and Jenn (Come With Me If You Want to Live) joined Lori and I as judges, using criteria Dara came up with — so you know it's slightly off-kilter.
Highlights of the event? Too many to mention, but here are a few of my favorites: Michelle getting heckled for accidentally picking on a woman with a broken toe; Karman and Cathy flirting in Santa's workshop; Bridget and Marnie's adventures in Amsterdam's red light district; and Jill taking orders from Dara in a barn. Then there's Karman and Dara's rendition of A Sound of Music...well, you'll just have to watch for yourself and tell me what your favorite moments / lines / scenes are. I agree!! I would travel anywhere in the UK (and most places in Europe come to think of it) to see you lovely ladies do improv. Best Dinah video so far, and it's only Wednesday. Loved it!!!!

That was too frakking funny! My favourite bits, Marnie saying "If only there was another 19 year old I could 'experiment' with" and Jill mourning the loss of her career as she died coked up on a toliet. Genius. That cracked me up! Only problem was that it wasn't long enough; you lot are pure comedy gold and there should be so, so much more!

That was a-ma-zing. First improv: Michelle's sheriff voice and Jill basically turning into an object that everyone carry around made me die with laugh.
The death scenes were so crazy and perfect, i couldnt stop laughing!
Loved when they started to throw things at Michelle after the girl with the broken toe gave her the paper. Haha.
Bridget's dancing was wow, amazing improv! I also loved how Karman got confused with who she played on the improv with the two transgender in a farm, such a trainwreck, so good!
Can Michelle be more funny?

Okay so there were some questionable moments but overall it successfully made me laugh... although i am from New Zealand and anythings funny compared to the jokes us kiwis come up with... usually has to do with a farmer helping push his sheep through the fence in a rancid way...

The princess and the penis was priceless. But the Trans in the barn was histerical, Karman getting all confused was great. Bridget dancing was wooooow!
