    Woo hoo first

    Woo hoo first comment!!

Another great episode, I too was fortunate enough to see Stephanie Mills in the wiz. I was real young I had to be about 7, but that was the moment where I was so aware of my Blackness but in a good way. I always remember that time thinking I was soo glad to be Black.

I also have great friends, but everytime you bring friends on I always wish I had your friends too! Of course you two are included in the "I wish we were BFF's category"

    I love these U People

I love these U People stories, and this one may be  my favorite.  There are so many interesting people all around this country.  Thank you for introducing me to all of these people.

    Inspiring.

I found myself so inspired by Father Skip Koritzer's story. How wonderful to be reminded that there are people out there who have the guts to think for themselves and stand up for the rights of others, even if that entails physically barring a belligerent person from the premises. I can only hope that I would have the chutzpah to do the same thing if I found myself in a similar situation. Kudos to those Hyatt employees!

    One of the best vlogs

Me too, I wish I had your friends. They all seem so cool. Yes I will check out Pierre and Jamyla's websites.

I, too, remember The Wiz, the movie version though. I agrree with you about all the black entertainers did seem like were in that show. I've never seen it on stage though.

It' great to see African-American people/people of African descent collect old skool black collectibles. I wish I had the Fat Albert lunchbox. Lucky!

Ahh The Wiz, When MJ was cool and not crazy.

I LOVE that movie, like I was one of the scarecrows for Halloween last year. Seriously. I break out into the "Ease on Down the Road" stroll when I'm happy. "You Can't Win" and "Brand New Day" are my sh*t. I flove this movie.

I'm a lax Roman Catholic so it was weird that had such a visceral reaction to seeing the Father. I suddenly needed to go Confession. That was a really cool thing the Father and the employees did. Bless them.

    Great U people.

The Wiz was my shit. But I

The Wiz was my shit. But I agree about Diana Ross. I wish I could've seen the Broadway one. I really liked that story with the priest. I have to come to this vlog more often.
