Out writer/director/showrunner extraordinaire Angela Robinson shared a surreal Hollywood moment.

Singer Taylor Swift shared a surreal country/pop-star moment.

Comedian/actress Aisha Tyler reminded us to give thanks on Memorial Day.

Out poet/author Staceyann Chin shared her Memorial Day Weekend travel plans.

AfterEllen.com Blog Editor Trish Bendix shared hers, too — out on the town in New Orleans.

Actress Crystal Chappell (Guiding Light) finally joined Twitter, and immediately thanked her fans.

Outspoken Republican (and gay rights supporter) Meghan McCain looked at the silver lining in a negative New York Times article about her.

When she wasn't tweeting about overturning Don't Ask Don't Tell or Prop. 8, political pundit Ana Marie Cox was reviewing movies or debating the best episode of 30 Rock.

Finally, actress Eden Riegel (Imaginary Bitches, All My Children) shared a frustrating audition experience...

...that turned out to have a happy ending.

    I can't believe they reopened the Rubyfruit!  That was my first ever lesbian bar hookup waaaaaaay back in the day when I was too young to go to bars but got into the Rubyfruit and Charlene's anyway.  I'm going to have to stop in next time I'm down. 

     

    Btw, all due respect, but you're freaking HOT!  (if that's you in the pic)

    Crystal Chappell is a true Goddess and a lady. She 'Twittered' that yesterday to a huge group of Big Purple Dreamers who had gathered to hear her tell us that she was aching after working out!

    We are all extrememly excited about having the opportunity to 'talk' with the cast of Guiding Light tomorrow. It is a truly lovely thing for Crystal and the rest of the cast to do for their fans. This is why we love them so very much!

    WE WILL KEEP THE LIGHT SHINING!

    She's awesome, and is always tweeting about interesting things.  She's a hardcore gay rights supporter, and isn't afraid to let everyone and their grandmother know.

    Oh yay, you highlighted Ana Marie Cox's twitters :) I'm pretty sure you already knew about them but I remember emailing AE tips with loads of examples you could use (she has some funny ones and tells NOm to suck it A LOT!

    haha to Trish, not read the book but it was mentioned in 'Educating Rita' which we read for GCSE

    Thanks Sarah.  We fans of Guiding Light, Otalia, and Crystal Chappell appreciate your support.  I have been a fan of Crystal's for a long time and she continues to amaze me with the appreciation she gives back to her fans.  She is truly an incredible actress and an  even more incredible person!

    Crystal Chappell is truly one special lady! She is a wife, mother, and actress ... and yet, she makes time for her fans.  Live chats, pod casts, blogs, twittering, and sending autograph photos ... what more could we ask for!  I appreciate the beautiful relationship that Crystal has entered into with all of us who adore her so very much!

    Crystal Chappell joined this week.  It was awesome to follow Crystal in real time during her work day on the GL set at the BBQ.  It was also cool to have other GL actors stop by and communicate with fans via Crystal's tweets.  CC goes above and beyond to stay in touch with her fans!
