"America's Next Top Model" 11.10 "Planes, Trains, and Slow Automobiles"

Queer contestant Elina narrowly missed elimination (again) on America's Next Top Model in episode 11.10 "Planes, Trains, and Slow Automobiles," as Sheena got the boot and Top Model was winnowed down to five.

In between photo shoots in former brothels and on pirate ships, the models had flew to Amsterdam, had arguments over the legalization of prostitution, and shared a "lesbian bath moment" (it's not as exciting as it sounds).

I know Sheena can play up the porn look too easily, but really, I'm not seeing "hooch" in those boat photos. And Jay's comment about her not being "ladylike" was just annoying.

Sheena will definitely be missed, at least by me. You can see her portfolio of photos here — this one's my favorite:

Next week: it's time for the go-sees! Ten bucks says Marjorie has a nervous breakdown.

    WHAT?!?! SHEENA! NOOOOOOOOO!! ok, perhaps i wont miss her as much after her attitude toward marjorie and elina last week. i have my money on analeigh!

    She is my favorite of this cycle. But based on the next ep preview she is going to be the next Heather...But i'm glad she had made it this far. I have my money on McKey!

    Is gonna take the cake, but I hope Marjorie and Elina are in the top three with her. Sam is such an ignorant twit, I just want to throttle her!

    The episode didn't air until 11 pm due to a basketball game that ran late, but I didn't find that out until after ANTM aired.  Luckily, it repeats on Friday.  I'm hoping Analeigh wins.  Kristin on E!Online says Majorie and Elina make it far.  I find it hard to better that Elina makes it far considering how much she's struggling.

    They keep voting off exactly who I want/guess. I'm pretending I'm just really intuitive and that it has nothing to do with their obvious editing.

    All the contestants hating on Elina confuses/bothers me. Mostly because I feel she's the only contestant with any depth and isn't allowed to express an opinion without the other girls attacking her.

    Sam's being 18 makes me embarrassed that I was 18 not too long ago. I hope I wasn't that stupid.

    OMG Elina has been hanging rather on a thin thread 2 times in a row.. or was it 3 times on a row? Geez!!! I sooo hope she wins although she's kind of annoying everynow and then, but at least she's the bi girl haha so I'm leaning towards her winning. Even though I like a lot McKey.. I think she's the prettiest and the most model-ish one. OMG I hated when the invited judge said she didn't like Elina's face because it was too scary... whatever. And it was true.. Mckey's pic was the best... and Sam is not bad but she's so ignorant.. like.."there were some girls in bikini looking at me" or whatever she said... What an homophobe or whatever.. it was kind of a peep show.. she's very narrow minded.

    So weird to see all the girls suddenly in my own country... Pretty all the things they showed, I've been there myself. Anyway, I love Elina and Marjorie. I also liked Sheena, too bad she's gone. Don't care about the others this season...

    Oh, how fun it is to see what foreign people think about Holland. It's hilarious! Like all we do is have sex and use drugs. All about being controversial:p Well, that last one might be a bit true.. Fun fact: Daphne (the guest judge) just said in an interview that paulina was knitting all the time. lol.

    This is post makeover because Elina has red hair.  Clark was blonde pre-makeover and brunette post makeover.

    While we're on the subject of Clark: during the recap episode they ran Elina's confessional after Clark was eliminated.  She was super upset and goes, "my girlfriend just got kicked off."  Yet, we never saw them hanging out in the house together.  Super funky editing, particularly because during Kim Stolz's cycle, there was infared of her making out with the blonde chippie.

    Time to go make more tea for my awful head cold.  Maybe I'll watch some old ANTM on youtube too.  ;)

    i thought i was done with commenting on this episode but i'm not! what's up with Mckey??? she said smth along the line "elina is the uglist person i've seen." or smth. dude, if you don't like what you hear, walk out of the room or smth. i can't stand sam at the moment. oh and best line of the ep: "I'm so frustrated by this vajayjay shaving party!" .LOL. we wish!

    Wow, I think I may be the only person here who can't stand Elina, and twitchy Marjorie is a little annoying herself. I was disappointed when Sheena went home, but I'm hoping Mckey wins the whole thing anyway.
