The Gay Agenda: Jan. 24, 2008

VisibleVote08.com vloggers Jennifer Vanasco and James Withers discuss how Hillary and Obama aren't friends, how they're tired of the race and gender cards being played all the time, and why they want the fight to continue to the convention.

i agree and think the race

i agree and think the race should go all the way to the convention. i think it is the only way we will figure out who the best choice for president really is. it's kind of like the longer the race goes, the more clinton and obama will start to stand out and be different.

Chelsea Clinton Vistits AE Reader's University

I look forward to this every week now!   I'm definately feeling the race/gender issue being taken too far.  Even though I know it will never end up this way, I just want to be like, "hey, we get it, they aren't old white guys, let's move on."  Also, Jennifer, I'm with you on Hillary.  My candidate dropped out (Gov. Richardson) and I was going back and forth between Clinton and Edwards but she ultimately won out.

Slightly off topic but you might find this interesting: Chelsea Clinton came to my school today!  (Clark University, Worcester, MA) I had already made up my mind to support her mother but I couldn't pass this up.  We had a HUGE turnout and lots of people came to see her.  It was a Q&A session and I thought she was very quick on her feet and very personable as well.

    Worcester!

Off topic I suppose, but I went to Worcester Prep for a post grad year after high school. Have some fond memories of that town. And as for Bill Clinton, Come On! I usually think charges of left wing bias in the media are crap but If there was a clip of Mike Huckabees falling asleep in a chair while MLK's son was giving a speech on MLK day it would have gotten much greater play. I don't think it SHOULD have in either case, these people have all been campaigning on brutal and exhausting schedules for months, but just as an observation on the free pass Bill seems to get sometimes. You are right about his need for attention. I worry some day he will break a leg running to get in front of a camera.

I just wanted to thank you for the vlog in general, for someone from outside the us this is a really great way to stay up-to-date and to know whats going on!! I like that the vlog is short, but covers all the important stuff that happened in the last week. I really look forward to it, also because its a great way to end a friday night (which usually consists of surfing the net for hours on end ;-) )

    When there are so many

When there are so many issues out there, the war, economy, equal rights, immigration, health care, ect..... I am also tired of the race and gender card. The person I vote for can be black, white, mixed, male, female or trans.... As long as they have the best interest for this country and the people that live here. I think Bill will hurt Hillary chances. I can say one thing I will not vote republican, I always felt that they never had my best interest at heart, as a single woman. It seems to me they make the rich, richer and the poor, poorer
