Because of this vlog, I decided to check out TSCC, and I love it.  It has totally changed around my Monday viewing schedule.  I love that the actually made Sarah a strong woman, some shows like Bionic Woman and even Alias, in my opinion, pretend tbat the women are strong, but they are actually pretty weak and whiny. 

I love this vlog, and can't wait to see more episodes.

1. I so agree with Dee about John. I find him annoying and emotional and i swear to god in that early scence when he's at the computer he's wearing lipgloss. Or maybe it was my t.v

2. I love your random tangents. I so notice these things too. It's like in One tree hill where the're doing this flashback episode and it's supposed to be 4 yrs past but Lucas has an iphone which came out like 1 yr ago. Product placement ppl... nevermind if it makes sense.

3.  A few episodes into this show and i'm kind of worn out. It's so heavy. Nobody smiles or jokes. Sarah Conner doesn't like Cameron who never smiles and John is just so...  I watched the last episode while reading a book and everytime i looked up somebody was getting the hell punched out of them. But i'll keep watching just to follow your recaps.

2. I think that i will be able to play an "item of the week" drinking game with this show, like i did with Alias. My friends and I would get together every week and watch Alias and take shots whenever the "item of the week" was mention. The worst week was when they went after the "Black Thorine."

I believe someone already posted how sarah, john and cameron have fake identities they got from the nephew of the guy Cameron killed in episode 1. The FBI guy is not looking for them because he believes they blew themselves up in the bank. Go back and look at this last epi, in the scene when the FBI guy and woman are at their office and she tells him to let go of this case; he said something about the last case he had this weird three people ended up blowing themselves up in a bank. I think he is referring to sara and crew.

My spoiled boxer and I enjoy your vlog very much. I mostly laugh and she just sits there and looks at me funny. I use to live in College Park, Ga when I was younger so watching ya'll brings me home. I miss my southern accent mostly but gain it back alittle when I talk to my brother. He still lives in Atl. I am all over TSCC. Everytime I watch an episode it is like watching a movie. I just dont have expensive popcorn. I LOVE all the PBS references I lived off that channel growing up. Sesame street taught me spanish and everything else. I am not sure what Mister Rodgers taught me.

my betty or jody....that was pretty nice and I know what u mean about having the one person that saves their question for last minute when everybody wants to dip or interrupts the teacher to say something stupid. We got one in American History, Algebra 2, Marine Bio, etc... it's just irratating and you just want them to shut the f*** up. I mean I got a question every now and than but it isn't stupid or a waste of time in fact it keeps the teacher talking so they won't grade the h/w (give the test that day)giving us more time to do it or answers what everyone wants to know....Jett jackson was in between 5th and 6th grade for me I think 02 or 03.

So here's this about that.

They aren't living off the grid. When Sarah Connor got their I.D.'s off of Enrique's nephew, he said:

"these ain't just forgeries, this is full service. You're in the system and everything, collect welfare with them if you want."

So I'm thinking everything they have bought or acquired is under their real fake I.D.'s (blackberries, AT&T and all). Their alias is "Baum" I believe. So I think they're using that to get all this stuff.

As for Lena Headey's accent. I'm sure they're more prone to overlook it and spend their money on special effects as opposed to time in the audio suite looping her dialogue.

Oh man, I started cracking up at the "it's Shake 'n' Bake, and I helped!" I remember those commercials, my sister and I would always make fun of them but I haven't thought of them in AGES so that was a funny little surprise.

I think John's shaking hand was foreshadowing and not just stress.  He also had problems with his hand when he was trying to get the phone in the truck.  Since Cameron knows the future, her keeping the Coltan might have something to do with her possibly needing repairs or maybe even John needing some "mechanical" help in the near future.

BTW Jenn, did you throw the "Celie" curse early on in the vlog?  Favorite film of all time!

I too remember the shake and bake commercial and I grew up in CA.  It's the only shane-n-bake commercial I remember.

 Oh and I just wanted to say that I think all the dogs wanted to be on camera this week because the cats had the run of the place last week. :-) 

Yeah, I thought that was him, but I wasn't sure because his voice sounded way deeper than it used to be. I was like, "Is that Jett Jackson? Oh-my-god-it-is!" Then I let the show run for a few secs and I was like, "What? No Kayla?" I used to love that show.

I'm glad y'all do this recap 'cuz the last few eps have been really weird, and somehow y'all have managed to make (some) sense of it.

 I've been coming to AfterEllen.com for a minute now, and I never registered, but after watching last weeks vlog and this one, I just had to comment and tell y'all how great I think y'all are. I've even started watching the show, because of y'all. (Dang I sound country with all the 'y'all's') Anyway - keep up the good work!

Just seen a advert for the SCC here in England it start on Feb 21st on Virgin 1. Didn't think we'd get to see it so soon cant wait.

You two are great. I've never watched the SCC, but your recaping is amazing. Someone above asked what you call your girlfriend, when you're on the dl. I think 'stick-girl' works. I hear it here in VA alot, I never use it, but I know it means friend, or someone you hang out with ALL the time.

...yeah, emo is pronounced e-mo, but when you say emu, it's kinda cute ^_^

Lol, I guess I should clarify why I pronounce emo as emu...It became kind of a habit after I saw the last spiderman and was totally disgusted by what they did with the Peter Parker character. He kind of looked like the emu animal (or maybe a weird rodent) when they tried to make him all emo (at least I think that is what they were going for). Not to mention he made me ekkk (like wtf) and ewww ( with total annoyance) throughout the whole thing. So every since then I (and my friends) refered to emo people as emu.....and you are right some emo guys totally look like emu animals.   :o)

I just wanted to say thanks sooooooo much for everyone's interest in the vlog & for taking the time to post comments.  I really enjoy reading your different pov's.  So it seems that some of us are abit unclear about the whole Judy/Betty thing... Judy & Betty are synonymous terms, both referring to a close, strictly platonic relationship.  Your Judy or your Betty is your best friend, plain & simple.  Now, that girl that's like a girlfriend but technically isn't, is your "piece".  Hmm, I haven't heard of a stick girl...  As for me, I was born & raised in Atlanta (GRADY BABY!!!), yes that was the curse from The Color Purple (HA!  I thought nobody caught that!), & NO, I WAS NOT DRUNK!  That's my story & I'm stickin' to it!  LOL!  Thanks again y'all, hope you like the next one even better.

Why exactly is it that Toes is always licking on just YOU? Does s/he knows something we should know?

I think that Sarah and John are able to buy cells and use the GPS system because they got new identities from the latino guy. he completely gave them new socials and birthdates and everything cuz he tells sarah that they are in the system now and that they can "even get warefare checks". they didnt find that they had to hide cuz they didnt kno that EVIL TERMINATOR was back from da past. and that way they can stop running like john says and start to have a real life.

and i havnt caught her accent yet but i will definitely be diligent in the next episode. I think that cam kept the metal piece cuz she's sorta facinated by it. she seems to be interested in it cuz thats what she ( her indoskeleton) is made of. she looks at it with such an inquisitive way and like is sorta questioning if destroying the entire thing is all bad cuz if she does that then she will never be made. thats what i think!

and i luv cam she's really hot

I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of T:SCC and could barely get through one episode. However, Dee and Jenn are so refreshing that even though I still have no desire to see even 30 secs of a show, I can always sit through many a vlog of them talking about it. You make me miss living in GA and I completely understand (and live for) those ADD moments where you go off on tangents for 5 mins at a time. :-)
