WOW! I ask for a little ranting about Bones, the week after I get almost 10min! Wunnerfulll!

And a referance to Profiler?!? One of my very first TV-addictions! I tell you, Sam and Angel (was that her name?) may have made me wonder about things in life! =)

Edit: I sure hope Angela's type is of the hot, geeky, brunette kind! But I think her type has more to do with the inside than the outside.

There is the episode of Bones called "The Man In The Bear" in the first season (I just started obsessing over this show, partly because of your vlog), where Zack and Hodgins are fighting for the affection of a female delivery woman. Hodgins states that after 3 package deliveries, a coffee date is fair game. A bet begins between the two guys, and guess who the deliverywoman decides to give her third package to? Yeah, Angela. It's a great moment. And it was my first hint that she might have experimented at least a few times. She accepts the package, but she doesn't end up making a date (at least, in the canon of the show). 

If y'all have the dvds, I'd go back and watch the episode, searching those specific scenes out. Angela's reaction to the package is priceless!!

Can't you just see Angela with a less conflicted version of Shane? I'm also with you about Bones and that costume. I couldn't get over how unlike her it was to be wearing that thing. I think she may be a little more on the "adventurous" side in her private life.. but never at work! Do you remember the episode where she made that snarky comment under her breath about being amazing in bed.... she clearly isn't quite so Bones-ish all of the time. Either way I love her.

The vid clips of the scenes from the shows are a VERY nice touch!  I don't usually watch Sharks and I forgot about this week's Bones eppie!

And Lori (love the tee!) I agree with you about Nip/Tuck and not watching the surgery scenes.  I think they purposely try to make them as gory as possible so I skip them and just catch the good parts!

I am so disappointed in you two for not pointing out the 'Buffy' connection on Bones this week!! The PI, if you remember back, was the girl who predicted her own death, and then was used by the First to be a faux medium between Willow and Tara... Ok, maybe I'm a bigger nerd than I thought.

LOVED the vlog----might have to start tuning in to Shark.  That scene reminded me of the old LA Law Abbey and CJ hook up ---hot for it's time....anyone around the age of 40 remember ???... (insert cricket sounds here).

Wish you guys were doing vlogs back in the days of Voyager when I was just waiting with bated breath for Captain Janeway to lunge for all 9 of 9 (on 7 of 9)...that, my friends, is the last bit of math I hope to do this year.

Loved the vlog as usual, y'all are great....I've never watched Shark but I vote for her to be "a lesbian and doesn't know it" I would settle for a bisexual though since there are no strong lesbian or bisexual characters on network tv, right? but like u said 6 months will pass and nothing will be different, but there's still hope :)

I love Kathy Griffin, she's hilarious but yes, she just says what she thinks, or more like she doesn't think when she speaks it just comes out but that's what makes her funny, I'll be looking forward to her E! True Hollywood Story ;)

Auzra Skye is always a welcome sight, be it Bones, House (last week getting under 13's skin[not like that, unfortunately]), Buffy, or a Smallville appearance (that squicks me out on the twincest front).

I think, for the first time ever, I can't really comment on anything in the vlog because I don't watch any of the shows you mentioned. I am excited, though, about the premiere of The Amazing Race...it's my favorite reality show...and given the impending writers' strike, reality TV might be the predominant source of entertainment for a while.

Again, kudos on the vlog...I love the addition of the clips. I feel like I'm on the road to being hooked on even more shows.

I met the cousins, Mirna and Charla, who were on the show (and the all-star show) a few weeks ago and they said each leg of the race was three days of little sleep, only a few power bars and bottled water! And they had to travel so light they even dumped their toothpaste. Doesn't sound like your kind of activity.

On the up side, you could be on it and work to lose quickly because all "losers" have to go to a posh seaside resort for a month or more while everyone waits for all the other contestants finish.

I honestly wasn't surprise when Angela past with Roxie came about, even in season one I got hints she wasn't completely "straight"

The Christmas episode (The Man in the Fallout Shelter) she said:

"Angela: Okay you people listen to me.� There is a party going on upstairs okay?� A Christmas party.� We�re going up there.� We�re going to talk to some people.� We�re going to sing some carols.� We�re going to drink some eggnog. (She hands the electronic gadget back over to the currier. The currier leaves and Angela fans herself with the large envelope.)
Hodgins: That is so hot.
Zach: Why? Why is that hot? It would be hotter if she chosen me.
Hodgins: No, this is definitely hotter. Phew.

oh i loved this weeks bones episode and i loved that little angela tidbit but i gotta say i loved the p.i. more. Azura Skye? i love her .she has this wierd quirky energy and was in an episode of house a week ago, but i've loved her since that buffy episode 'conversations with dead people' where she gives willow her message from tara but it's really the first. so sad and creepy it makes me want to cry. the only thing i really dig about that episode.  ( i see others made the buffy connection. i'm in geek heaven)

i have to say i thought Brennans costume was wierd because throughout the show's run she's never really gotten pop culture references. i mean in a past episode she doen't know woho mr Ed was but suddenly she knows every thing about wonder woman. but the episode was sweet .

omg i so loved the profiler. i wanted to be a forensic profiler. you really don't see the lead actress much on tv nowadays.

i just can't get into the amazing race, it's just so blah! aliens in america though is a good bet. Rajah is hiliarious.

 omg, i'm addicted to this Vlog... i look foward to friday.. always.. not only cuz of the weekend but also because of Best Lesbian Week Ever and because of She Made Me Watch This... i just can't get enough of this vlog... that being said, is it friday yet? lol

Sarah and Lori, you guys have the best and most extensive T-shirt collection of anybody on the planet (well, anybody in Manhattan, at least).  I always look forward to your weekly vlogs to see what T-shirts y'all will be wearing.

I do the same thing as Sarah:  I too use my DVR to fast forward over the surgery scenes on "Nip/Tuck".  I read they use pieces of chicken and beef for the surgery scenes, but it is still too gross for me to watch.

If the WGA strike goes on for a while? I think a lot of the shows you cover only have a half-season or so done, so come February, it'll be down to slim pickings if the AMPTP doesn't shift.

 And what do you think about the WGA demands, anyway? It seems like they're getting hung out to dry on DVD and Internet residuals, particularly since TV on DVD has become such a hot commodity.
