"She-Wolf" and kids these days

Dark Horizons is reporting that there may be an updated version of Teen Wolf in the making. The original 1985 comedy was a fun flick starring Michael J. Fox as a high school basketball player-turned-werewolf, and the less-fun sequel Teen Wolf Too featured Jason Bateman as a college student in the title role. This one has Smallville's Tom Welling reportedly attached - but not as the lead. This Teen Wolf is reportedly going to be about a female teen wolf.

So, who's it gonna be? Or better yet, who should it be?

There's always the obvious choices, like Heroes Hayden Panettiere, or Harry Potter's Emma Watson. Erica Hubbard would be great, but she is 28, and already stretching credibility as Lincoln Heights 16-year-old Cassie (although she's great in that role).

In fact, everyone I can think of is too old, which makes me wonder: who are the young female up-and-comers to watch now? The Ally Sheedys, Jena Malones, even the (dare I say it) Lindsay Lohans of the new teen generation? And don't say Dakota Fanning - the fact that she's 13 now already makes me feel too old...

    Rhyon Nicole Brown. She's pretty cool, and only 14. Wierd that she's half the age of Erica Hubbard and they play sisters who are only a few years apart.

    For just a moment, when I saw this headline, I thought that perhaps someone was resurrecting/reinventing the enjoyably bad 1990-91 series, "She-Wolf of London".  Ah, Kate Hodge.  That takes me back.

    Not because of her age..because I think she looks amazingly young for 28. I would have probably guessed that she's 19 by watching LH. I just can't imagine, for the life of me, the wolf coming out of her! Then again, I guess MJF didn't seem that wolfy either.

    Anyways, she is incredible as Cassie on Lincoln Heights. This season has flown by so fast, thank God they got a second season. I'm eagerly anticipating the finale on Monday.

    Nothing beats the Canadian female werewolf movie, "Ginger Snaps," and its sequel, "Ginger Snaps Back." Although the endings are gory, typical horror schlock, the first part of the movie is campy and funny. Ginger's sister, too, is interesting, and their relationship is a core part of the film. Ginger gets her period, and guess what?

     Any other fans? If they could incorporate that kind of humor, with a better ending, and the same female friendships, it would be wonderful.

    I love the Ginger Snaps movies. There are actually three movies. The third is a prequel of sorts which stars the original actresses only it's set in the past. I think the 1600's. Ginger Snaps Back is my favorite of two specifcally because of a particular scene involving a chorus of masterbating girls.

    Ginger Snaps rules. Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins, the two lead actresses, are really exceptional in all three of the movies.

    i love teen wolf! i'll admit, i kinda had a crush on boof and her lil tuff-girl act. i would've loved to have had "7 minutes in heaven" with her in the back of stiles' wolfmobile, hehe.

    i know i couldn't have been the only one...

    Mandy Musgrave is sexy hot and now that she is legal I can say that with out fear of jail  :o)

    Also tha girl from Lincoln heights would be good. Who cares that she is 28....she is playing a hell of a teenager,,,most people wouldn't have guessed her age if no one posted it...plus Kerry Washington played a 14 year old when she was like 22 or 23....work those youthful faces ladies, play as young as you can for as long as you can...because soon you will playing the old matrone figure.
