Reese proposes to Bianca on "All My Children"

The kiss was so obviously missing from the scene when Reese and Miranda showed up and surprised Bianca...that if there was no kiss with the proposal today...I was going to throw something at my tv!

But it is hard to watch Eden kiss someone else after Eden and Liz's famous Brunch with Bridget eppie!  Every time Eden kisses another...it is like she is cheating on Liz!  lol  ;)

 

That moment was just one of those ones that you'll remember your whole life. Reese's proposal was genuine and showed how much she loves Bianca..I may have even cried a little. Can't wait to see what's in store for this happy couple!

Bianca would have the first lesbian proposal on a soap...or daytime tv... I'm so glad she is back... that means I should start watching again.

Yay! I've been following Bianca's story since 2002 and have become a huge fan of Eden's over the years. I was very excited when I found out that she would be coming back to AMC, and even more excited when I found out that Tamara Braun (!!) would be playing her new girlfriend. Today's scenes didn't disappoint, I was worried that since we didn't get to see them meet in Paris that they wouldn't be believable, but I was worried for nothing. I thought both actresses sold the proposal scene and it was wonderful to see someone so in love with Bianca. It was a beautiful thing to see the love in Reese's eyes as she proposed. Maybe finally Bianca will be loved like she's always deserved to be loved.

 

 

Setting aside all emotions about pod!Bianca at the moment and all emotions about this not being Maggie's story... 

That pic of them holding hands with their fingers laced, has me all mushy and gushy.  If I blur my vision and forget all the drama I get a little choked up about the thought of this image and this visibility on a 38 yr old daytime soap.

I've followed Bianca's storyline since the moment I heard AMC was going to bring on a lesbian character. I stopped watching when the character left and when I found out Eden was returning for this storyline I was so about watching it! I heard the whole having a another baby blah blah blah thing and thought "that's so cliche and i hope they don't do this wrong but I won't be suprised if they do". Yesterday when Bianca was reuinted with Reese (first time seeing her for us of course) and they didn't kiss I was so pissed!!! But today made up for it! When the kissed and not just a peck on the cheek I clapped and in a high pitch voice said "YAY!!!" lol I'm so gay. I hope they keep it up and show affection as any other couple would on daytime!

Since Reese has built a house for them in France, it will be interesting to see how that plays out, especially with Zach lurking around.

I watched the show today and I was very impressed. I've been a follower for some time now and as somebody who always cheered for BAM, it was really nice to see some sort of "normal" interaction between two women in love. I wasn't sure at first if I'd be ok with somebody else taking Maggie's place in Bianca's heart but Tamara Braun is amazong and if anyone can pull it off she can. I'm so excited to watch and see where it all goes it's been forever since I've had something to cheer for on the daytime front.

I was never a BAM fan.  I thought AMC missed the boat with these two when Elizabeth Hendrickson was actually playing Frankie, which is odd.  Because to me Eden Riegel and Elizabeth had more chemistry together when it was Bianca and Frankie than when it was Bianca and Maggie.  I was however a fan of Lena.  I was kinda of disappointed when she left the show.  I am a fan of Tamara b/c I also watch GH so i was happy to see they acquired her for the role.  

I believe that both actresses did a good job of selling a relationship that took place totally off-screen.  Which is hard to do esp. for a popular charcter.  But I didn't expect anything less from either ER or TB. 

I was def. pleased that they showed them kiss today!  If they hadn't did that today there going to be a lot of angry lesbian fans out there.

I'm near Chicago and there was no kiss today.  I taped it and they didn't show the kiss.  I rewound it and watched again to see what the hell happened and nothing.  It cut to a different scene right after the proposal.  Bianca didn't even say yes.  And, I have a regular VCR so it isn't some funky DVR thing going on.

Where the hell is my kiss????  Did this happen to anyone else?  I thought they were saving it for Monday or something.  WTF?

I hope there are more! I've been  a Bianca/Eden fan for years and was never a shipper. Thus, I was so excited to hear Bianca was returning and after I met Eden two weeks ago, I was even more excited.

So far, I looovee the chemistry between Eden and Tamara and I reallly hope they sign a longer contract.

KS, the kiss happened a few scenes after the proposal. I think at the very end of the episode. Did you tape the entire show?

I have been a huge BAM fan for years but I have to admit that I am loving this storyline (minus the whole Zach's being the baby's daddy)! They are both amazing actresses and today's proposal scene is a total proof. You could see the love Reese (Tamara Braun) has for Bianca when she was asking her to marry her!! Gosh...I kept playing the scene over and over again! And as everybody else here I was soo happy when they finally kissed!!!

As a huge Eden Riegel fan I've never miss anything she is on so after so long I am watching AMC again...and I can't wait for monday!!!  

I hope they will have a stable and loving relationship at least until Maggie comes back ;) :P

My question for you then is what was the last scene that recorded for you.  When it came back from commerical for the final scenes of the hour they showed Bianca saying yes and then they kissed. 

But then there several scenes after that.  Rebecca/Natalia, JR/Little A and Krystal/David.  David had a gun to his head.  Did you catch those scenes?  If not, I would say that it is a problem with your machine but if you did it sounds like they may have been edited out.  Though I think that's unlikely.  I know a network affiliate can refuse to air a program but I don't know if they can edit one they agreed to show.  IDK.  Plus for such a large market I just don't see them doing it. Or it could have been technical difficulties at the network.

Yesterday's episode was cool. I was watching it with my mom and said, "10 bucks they don't kiss." Then they did, and I was like "haha, damn." And oh god, I can't wait for the scenes with Erica. Those are gonna be great. Also, why Gabrielle is a very good name for a girl, I still think it would have been awesome if they actually did name her Dylan. Meh oh wel, Bianca never has been 'that gay." Aside from the all black, which she surprisingly wasn't in yesterday.

I was also in the minority of FAM over BAM. And I wasn't really watching, why I don't know, when she was with Lena. I think her and TB are working good together. Looking forward to more scenes.

I was shocked that nothing went wrong with Reese's arival! The whole time i was watching I kept waiting for something to go wrong (like Reese becoming jealous of Zack for the baby name or some other crazy thing) since it is AMC you never know, but nothing! And it was great!

I thought the scenes with Bianca and Reese were sweet, and her proposal made me cry.  Now for the rest of the show....oy vey.  I suppose I could record the shows and FF through everything but..what do you call them? Reanca?

Eden is a total QT Pie and I've enjoyed her on Bridget and with Cat.  I just can't see myself wading through the rest of the show for them.

Did anyone else find the acting a bit stiff b/w them? I'm hoping it's a) nothing, or more likely, b) the actors getting used to one another, etc.

for most of the cornyness that happens on AMC, I thought that whole storyline w/Reese & Bianca was pretty amazing.

I think the actress who plays Reese (Tamara Braun) did an awesome job, she seemed comfortable & they actually made a believable couple, minus the 1 or 2 times when they should've kissed instead of hugging. But hey at least they FINALLY got in 1 kiss.

I really really really hope the writers will let Bianca be happy for once, but I guess the show is a soap, so we never know what's going to happen

I really cannot get into the Bianca and Reese love story because I cannot get over Bianca calling Reese the love of her life. I mean, Maggie is the love of Bianca's life. Bianca calling Reese that basically ruined any chances I had of liking this couple. Not to mention this couple feels rushed. Did they really have to have them start a family together already without knowing each other for that long, and now about to get married? I think not. But oh well. At least they look cute together.

totally forgot to set my vcr. yes, i still have a vcr. hopefully they don't get married then go back to paris. bianca's the most sensible character on there and the only reason i started watching again. well, her and greenlee.

maybe they can bring maggie back for a love triangle? i'm rooting for reese, though!

I really cannot get into the Bianca and Reese love story because I cannot get over Bianca calling Reese the love of her life. I mean, Maggie is the love of Bianca's life.

For any newbies watching this show don't trust what you have seen in these clips! You will end up being insulted and feeling stupid for ever having watch this show.

After all these looooong years it looks as if All My Children has finally allowed Bianca to have an adult relationship. However, don't trust All My Children and ABC Daytime to do the right thing! I'm sure Reese will run off with a guy by the end of what is expected to be a 4 month storyline.

Although the proposal was a lovely scene, this is too little too late. For years the writers have been torturing the character of Bianca and her gay fans. The writers came up with ingenious ways to keep the character of Bianca celebate, through rape, a baby switch storyline, an is she or isn't gay BFF, and finally a laughable relationship with a male to female transexual. Of course like all of Bianca's relationship the intimate stuff takes place off camera, which is why Reese's quick introduction comes as little suprise.

A few episodes or even a few months can not make up for the years of insulting and homophobic writing for the character of Bianca. Just when you think the show's writers couldn't get anymore insensitive the writers impreganate Bianca with the sperm of her brother's rapist. WTF? Talk about twisted.

Not even the lovely and talented Tamara Braun can bring redemption to All My Children, and ABC Daytime.

I wish the character of Bianca would be killed off already so the writers would stop having the opportunity to metaphorically rape gay viewers with her stupid storylines.
