(Dana's partner, Helen, takes a break from vlogging this week, though she's busy with her real job, advancing the frontiers of technology.) I wish i had such a cool mum - basically, i spent my childhood in complete boredom, my nose stuck in 3 books a day. eww... not very funny and social. ;-)

how your book went from concept to publication. I'm just finishing up my degree in art because I've decided to illustrate my own children's books. I've written a few books but didn't want anyone else to illustrate them so I decided to learn the tools I needed to do them myself. I can't wait to pick up "Uncle Bobbie's Wedding" so I can see the entire book of illustrations.

Aw, thanks, hinterquxli CH. I can't take credit for the interior design, though--we were at Sarah Brannen's house. And yes, especially as a redhead, I've heard a few "Rudolph" jokes in my time.... :-)
