She Got Me Pregnant: Episode 11

Dana and Helen of Mombian cover an assortment of parenting items this week, including Mary Cheney's new job and the advantages of being a working mom with a Secret Service escort.

They also caution viewers against repeating Tina's big faux pas on The L Word, and attack the foolishness of the Mommy Wars a la Cashmere Mafia (and about a thousand news articles in the past few years). Can lesbian moms avoid being drafted?

    For doing this vlog. For us the "let's see who gets the better job" came before kids. My honey won. Moved to a small town in AZ and I think I gave it a prison sentence...we have to move in 3-5 years! 15 years later...we have two wonderfull kids and we both have great careers.

    As for Mommy Wars...only tv drama in our small circle of life.

    Good point about feminism being about choice! Some people seem to forget that, nowadays.

    On a different note; you guys seem to have so much fun together =) It's really great.

    Thanks, Fee! We are having fun. Sometimes, of course, that's because the vlog is the only child-free time we have together and awake all week. :-)

    (Not that I'm really complaining. We knew it would be that way with a young child, and somehow we're managing.)
