Michelle Paradise's "Exes & Ohs" Video Blog: Episode 7

I'm sure I'm not the only one who will miss these, so I hope you will be able to return periodically and keep us abreast (ha!) of the Exes & Ohs progress, and generally entertain us in your inimitable way! xoxox

The "less than three" thing...CUTEST. THING. EVER. Only slightly edging out the little piece of Paradise. Ha!

The "less than three," <3, is a heart. Tilt your head a bit to the right and you can see it...or take your laptop and turn it 90 degrees CCW.

I'd love to see a continuation of the Michelle Paradise vlogs...perhaps taking some of the advice requests that appear in the forums and using the 10 Rules to offer some wisdom? Just a thought.

Michelle - Thanks so much for these video blogs, they are a hoot!  I smile and even laugh out loud watching them.  And don't worry about the apologizing.  I think it shows good manners and consideration, of course, I am also afflicted with C.A.F.N.P.R. as well, so what do I know?  Here's hoping the phone rings soon and it's Logo with an offer you can't refuse!  Now, listen, you gotta stay outta the damp, chilly weather when you're still in recovery from your cold!  K?  K.  Be well, oh and <3.  Which I also just learned represents a heart and not secret code like, "The dog barks at midnight".  Stay hydrated and take some vitamin C!

........hehehehe that was funny.  I too was confused for a little bit with that symbol...thought it was a coding problem.  But then I saw it on another forum, and I thought, well that's odd.   At that point I probably turned my head on a side like a dog would, when confused, and saw what it was suppose to be.  But y'know what, I think I like your analyses better Michelle :)

Oh I have a question for a change...hopefully you'd get to answer...anywho, what is your favourite part of Vancouver?  Mine is Lynn Valley - I think that's the correct name - but I'm sure there's much more to see.

Anywho, all the best for the Season and I really do hope that I get my Paradise wish and that Logo announces the release of the 1st season of Exes & Oh's.  Maybe if we all start the rumour, they'd be forced to do it.  So yes, start the rumour, tell a friend :)

Fun parlortrick :D And you're not the only one who has wondered about the mysterious "less then three" thing. But I figured it out after a while... And now you hopefully have too.

 These vlogs have been brilliant, so please keep doing them. You could have like a Q and A spot type thing. Or maybe you could just tell us what you've been up to, like what projects you're doing, things like that. Or tell us random stuff. Like the weather or something.

Looking forward to the dating thing, it sounds like fun.

My secret message means.... Heart :) If you tilt your head all the way to the right, you can see that it kinda looks like a heart. It could look like a breast too, hehe.

I found this website with the polaroids you had in your short film, of you and Suzanne Mara. I was wondering, are those pictures real? is the story of Jen and Sam based on a real-life relationship you had with Suzanne Mara?

Loved both Exes and Ohs and the vlogs.  I've never written to a network before about a TV show, but I've sent multiple messages to Logo (both from me and my partner, and I even threw in a couple from our too-small-to-watch-the-show children for good measure) begging them to renew.  The vlog is a very clever way to create your own mini-TV-show -- perhaps you and a few of your friends should treat it as a indie way to run your own TV show in 10-minute segments? 

Great vlog Michelle- It was great to see the streets of San Fransisco, I'd LOVE to go but I've never even been to America before... So watching your vlog kind of felt like being there... I spit my coffee out when you revealed your frog-face... When you were describing it I was trying to build up a mental picture of what it would look like and  I couldn't picture it. It's your new trademark (along with your Xena call)

I can't wait for your best/worst dating stories vlog on the 21st.

Monty and CrazyBrenda dont act like ya'l like the Xena call. Eventhough Michelle is wounderful DONT MAKE HER TRY TO BRING IT BACK!!! Every time Michelle does the Xena call a bird drops out of the sky. Michelle- it is totally out of love when I say "Please dont do it anymore!" You might feel alittle challenged cause the more someone doesn't want you to do something the more you know you want to do it, BUT DONT!!! I'll send you a cookie if you dont do it anymore. You can keep the frog face though. I laughed hilariously!

I dont have a question but you dont answer them either so.. were even.

I know it will be picked up for a second season and if not just march in the office and do the Xena call until they passs out!! LOL J/K

Funny vlog as per usual. Here's a parlour trick for you... a bit geeky but still a parlour trick. Be able to convert Celsius to Farhenheit (or vice versa) in your head! Only if the topic of weather or temperature comes up in the conversation of course...

As a Canadian I'd be impressed. It's easy too... to get from C to F, double it and add 32. It does get a bit tricky when the temp is below 0C (32F) though... so... only use this trick when it's above freezing!

Now that you know what <3 is... here's another one for you....

I really hope Ex's and Oh's gets renewed and you get a longer season next time, 6 shows isn't enough.  I'm lucky as i travel to the US a lot i was able to catch the show and I loved it.

Wow Michelle, this is the first of your blogs I'm watching- mostly because I don't really watch TV excpet on the internet so I just discovered the show recently.

Michelle, I gotta say, Greetings from Finland! (got it out of my system now and promise not to do it again) anyways...
We don't actually get Exes & Ohs here but me and my gf are loving it. (and yes we've seen it even when we don't get it)

so about the vlog, that whole swooping around with the cafe and all, made me kinda sea sick and I don't get sea sick!!! Might be the antibiotics... No need to apologize that though.

Very lovely vlogs, I just love that there is somebody else who has as short attention span as I do. And yelling to the busses, kinda classic :D something I would and have done. Iguana face, disturbingly cute.

I'm hoping that you will continue doing the show cause there's just not enough good lesbian characters!!!! And of course keep doing the vlog cause it just makes the whole work day thingy way better and less painful...

Oh! And I was thinking about something: As you seem to speak french not that bad (and that you "have" Marnie to help), if the show comes out in DVD, could it be possible to have french subtitles please? Because, except if the french (crypted) channel Canal+ buy it, we'll never see it here...like so many glbt movies ("soldier's girl"; "relax...it's not sex"; "oranges are not the only fruit"; "i've heard the mermaids singing"...etc).

And if you can't or have no time for that maybe Logo could find a way to let french people do it ?

So nice to see some of SF. I hope to go back one day when the US govt stops fingerprinting everyone who visits like criminals. The cafes there put me onto real coffee in the early 90s. Yay!

I think I will be absolutely heartbroken should the show not get picked up for a 2nd season, and as equally heartbroken should there be no more of your video blogs.
