OMG I want your lightsabers.

Sadly I will not be getting a Wii anytime soon since I just got the Xbox 360 (girlfriend will go Resident Evil on my ass if I do). But I know friends who a looking buy one. They would do well to watch this episode of the Vlog since you did a great job informing us non-Wiiers about the basics (controllers, games, extras, etc)

I won a Wii through a raffle and it's so much fun.. I'm so glad I decided not to put it up on ebay (which I was seriously close to doing), it's a lot of fun to play with friends.

I was introduced to this addictively intelligent game by a friend who refused to lend it to me cause he wants a sequel made. Thus I was forced to buy it and it was worth every penny.

It's one of those games that runs through your mind even after you've turned the game off (kinda like how you still see those Tetris pieces when you close your eyes after playing it for awhile).

To everyone who owns a Wii, go out and spread the word! And if you have the money, definitely get it, I really want a sequel too =)

 

Just FYI, Darth Vader and Yoda are in Soul Caliber 4, not Super Smash Bros :)

I've had my wii since launch date, the titles are finally to roll in. Felt like I didn't have anything, loved mario galaxy, sims castaway, tomb raider. I'm excited to see samba de amigo come out, I remember playing that on my break at eb games ooooh memories. lol. Yes Animal Crossing, I can't wait for that!!! Great Vlog!!! LoL @ vibrator comment

I bought my Wii in a stupid Walmart bundle sometime around the New Year's right after launch. It came with Metal Slug Anthology... meh. On the good side, it also came with Red Steel and a big SD card.

Another important thing to get is Wii Play. It's pretty fun (though there's more of a learning curve than Wii Sports on a couple of the games) and hey, it comes with an extra Wiimote.

Two other games you mentioned are best I already own; that would be MySims and Super Mario Galaxy.

You forgot my favorite game: Super Paper Mario. It's a 2D/3D Platformer/RPG. How frickin' awesome is that? Then again, Paper Mario was one of my favorite games ever, and TTYD (the sequel's acronym, if you don't recognize it), was okay enough that I don't regret buying it. Seriously, Super Paper Mario has the BEST. DIALOGUE. EVER!!! Just play the level that has Francis the Uber-Nerd and you'll see what I mean.

For strategy games a couple of good games might be Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance or Batallion Wars 2. Two very different playing styles there. Whether you like it is really a personal preference type of thing.

Another good one would probably be Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Basically it's both Lego Star Wars games combined. I haven't played either yet, so I plan to get this to make up for my shameful lack of loyalty.

As far as upcoming games, I'm looking forward to Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Hopefully it'll be better than Melee. Probably so since I can play Sonic!) and definitely The Force Unleashed is up there.

There are a few others as well. A new version of Dr. Mario is supposed to come out for WiiWare. It'll let you import Miis and play online and crap. Friends and family can tell you, I pwn all in puzzle games. Another would be Sadness, but I doubt that game is ever gonna exist at this point. :( It looked like Tomb Raider, only very gothic horror-ish. And then there's Spore, which I will also own for PC. I'm getting sick of the delays on the dang thing. I wanna take over the universe now.

Guess what? I just met Liara, the monosexual alien in Mass Effect that caused the game to get banned in Singapore. I have maxed out charm. Methinks this will end well, though I may start the game over since I missed an opportunity with another lady earlier in the game (Sha'ira, the Consort). Dammit, I knew she was flirting, I just picked the wrong option! ARGH!

You metioned Wario Smooth Moves....which happens to be my favorite!!!  My friends and I all get together and play that just to laugh at how utterly ridiculous we all look!!!  Paper Mario is also one of my favorites...great game!!!

Has anyone created themselves on the Wii? We done it for the whole family never laughed so hard.

One of the best thing about the Wii is the fact that everyone is included, watching your parents play tennis too funny.

But did we possibly forget? The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess? Especially for those of us who are crazy about the Link/Zelda games of Nintendo yore ....

Is mii parade still under construction or something?  It seems like every time when I go there, nobody's there.  I tried gettting my miis there and that didn't work either.

Great vlog btw.  I'm definitely looking forward to Mario Kart and Star Wars.

My sandwiches are diagonal. Eek! But hey, I'm still getting used to being able to afford sandwiches with lids on them (I don't know if that'll make sense to anyone but me and my gran.)

Miis are the greatest things ever. I've made them for the whole family. My dad's looks just like him I swear to God. Although it's hard to get 'double chinned, bearded, vaguely autistic looking maths teacher' wrong. My girlfriend's is actually bizarrely accurate looking too.

MySims look like Miis. Is that intentional? I dunno, I'm still playing PC Sims. I think I work harder at getting my Sim degrees than I did for my real one. I do feel a little dirty going into Game to buy epansion packs though.

I can't wait for the new Harvest Moon game. I've noticed that the WII is regional coded. Is the PS3 regional free? If so then I'll get one. Love your Vlogs.

my sim would be called Dana Scullybanks. I'm an F.B.I agent at night and a professional tennis player during the day which sometimes causes confusion when I bring my racket to a crime scene and my gun to a match. News of my death has been greatly exaggerated I was infact abducted by aliens.
