First off, love the new opening titles, graphics etc. Was a little sad to see the homage to classic Mario go, but digging what has taken its place.

Checking out the upcoming new releases, I saw that (the first time, I believe) a Bourne Identity game is being released in a month or so - Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy. It should be one to take a gander at as although it is a movie tie in, it is coming out well after the final movie, so perhaps the developers have taken their time to make an awesome game. Here's hoping.

My theme idea is an episode dedicated to the much maligned PS3. It'd be cool to see no Wii, no Microsoft zzzBox360, just the sweet shiny powerful goodness that is the PS3. Soooo happy that Sony are bringing the DualShock controller back for it too.

You girls are awesome! I am a big fan of the vlog. I love the L Word rating system. Who is the top rating? Alice? Anyways, I am  Playstation girl (mostly because I am a die-hard FF player- with the exception of XI because I don't like MOManythings). I know neither of you are really into FF, but one can only play Heavenly Sword, Assassin's Creed, NHL 07 and Rock Band so many times and my friend recommended Folklore in the absence of an FF game. Heard anything about it? I'd like to know before I spend the $60. I'm also going to check out oblivion...Anything RPG-like for PS3 you could recommend (while I wait the 8 months for the next FF)? As long as it's about a Tina or Bette and up.

Angela, here, here, on the casual vs hardcore games.  I agree, the prices should go down if they want to make it obvious that the games are for "casual gamers" only.  Why not?  They do it with adventure games (finally).

As for the Singstar bribery.... do they have prawn crisps in Australia? Cuz they don't in Canada which is depressing, but I just found a store near my place that sells Ribena(in syrup form though, unfortunately) which makes up for it a little bit.

That reminds me, I think you should combine the July 4th themed show with Canada Day(July 1st) Get most of North America celebrated at the same time. (Does Mexico have a similar thing, and if so when is it? Anybody know?)

First, I just want to say I love the vlog, and am so happy to see video/pc games getting more attention. I'm also glad to see you bringing more of the other geek areas into the vlog too. Could comic books be next?

I'd love to see a horror themed show, with games like Dementium, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Siren etc. but I think someone had mentioned that a theme like that might be better for Halloween. 

How about a Western Theme (ie... Cowboys and Indians) where you review Western games.  I'll let you decide who dresses as a Cowboy and who dresses as an Indian.  I've played a couple of Western Games on the XBox 360.  Don't know if there are any on another box because all I have is the 360.

Also, you could do a World War II Theme because we all know there are LOTS of those games out there.

I'm a game enthusiast and am looking to include my sister (she is the epitome of casual gamer).  The only games she's taken even a tiny shine to on the system have been Cooking Mama Cook Off, Boogie, Wii Play, and Mario Party 8.  I tend to hog the set playing lengthy action games which she is mostly content to watch, but am more than willing to set them aside (temporarily) so she can share in the fun.

Any suggestions, team? 

So obviously I meant to post this last week, but forgot.

You mentioned Sid Meier's Pirates! last week and I thought people might like to know that it can be downloaded for free (and legally!) right here. That's the original version, and Pirates Gold is the remake but I haven't been able to get it working, even through dosbox.

There are a few other (old) pirate games on the same site, and I'm gonna have to recommend Uncharted Waters 2 - New Horizons. You can play as one of several characters, including a female pirate, and each character has their own storyline and style of play. There are fighters, traders, and adventurers. It's a very good, very addictive game.

And I also wanted to say that I'm really enjoying the vlog, even if it mainly makes me jealous of all the pretty, pretty games that I can't get. I'm restricted to my PS2, a computer that can only barely run the Sims 2 with anything newer than that being impossible, and my second hand NDS that I got cheap off eBay. Damn university leaving me poor for the last 3 years.

How can you not love Star Wars, it's a mystery to me. 

I'm a bad gamer though, I don't keep up with new games. I'm more into oldies like Worms Worlds Wars (classic and great!) and Sims 2, occasionally. I played at Animal Crossing on my summer job last year and finished Phoenix Wright Attorney thingy.

Don't hesitate to be harsh against videogames, criticism is fun.

Just wondering if you've heard of/seen/played etc the PS3 game called 'Folklore'? It's an action adventure game and the main character is a young Irish lass whose name is 'Ellen'.

A trip with Ellen to the Folk-ridden Netherworld sounds like quite the fun trip to take...
