I just called my older sister to see if that was the right game and she said it totally is, I was only like 6 or 7 when I played it and she thinks I got the castles confused with like Crystal Castles, another game we loved.

Thanks now I know what to get my brother.....I guess I better go hit ebay!

I'm a little confused with the screenshot you have posted for 'Orcs and Elves' -- Isn't that a screenshot from Oblivion?  It's the same art, figures and the same interface (atleast PC interface) as Oblivion.  I got a little excited because I thought you guys were going to talk about Oblivion when I saw the screenshot.  :(

Oh well, if you haven't played it, you definitely should.  I don't know how the console controls are on the PS3 though since I play on the PC.

However, Orcs and Elves looks like a game I would really like.  Reminds me of The Bard's Tale a little and maybe even Daggerfall.

Wish you guys played more PC games or MMOs cause I don't know what half the games are that you guys discuss.  One of these days I'll go buy an Xbox 360 I guess, all the cool kids have them and all I have is a Wii I never play.  :P

I was wondering where you get the majority of your games from? Do you buy them from speciality gaming stores? Department stores? Online? EBay? Trade? Hire? Are given them by developers for review? All of the above?

My second questions is do you watch many hi-def movies on your consoles? Were you 'burnt' by the demise of all things hd-dvd? I am sitting here, somewhat patiently (snort) waiting for all the cool movies that were originally released on hd-dvd to now be released on blu-ray. Hi girls, just thought id drop you a comment to say i think you guys are wicked, me and my fiance love watching your vids and are a little annoyed we didnt think of doing this before hehe.

Oh what do you think about the Wii game Dance Stage coming out this fri (well in the UK anyway)?, My fiance said we cant really get it coz we live on the 2nd floor in a block of flats (my arguement is so what if i wanna dance ill dance, plus im sure she wont mind when i bring it  back on fri hehe, maybe shell get off guitar hero finally).

I love my Wii - Love it, Love it, Love it. I was so glad you mentioned the Wii Zapper. I've had a really good time with Link's crossbow and also integrating the zapper into other games.

I picked up Winter Sports - Ultimate Challenge (Wii) and it's really pretty good too.

Hahaha I got a laugh at the cheeky comments on the bottom of the video about Tracy being a dumbass and such, funny stuff!

I just got Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII today, though I haven't gotten to play it very much. Have you guys played it, or are you going to? Are you into any of the Final Fantasys at all, or other RPGs?

And I wish it were as warm here as it sounds like it is there! We're just getting out of a winter where it barely went above -15 degrees fahrenheit, and now that it's hovering around 20 degrees, it's time for flip flops and tshirts. Can't wait til summer...

Thanks for another lovely blog. And since you so love being asked questions I've got a request.

Despite my love of all games, I've only ever been a pc gamer due to financial constraints. I'm just about to come into some money however, which will more than provide for any system i so choose. But I don't know much about games outside of the pc, and nothing about the systems. So I thought if I gave you my top 5 fave pc games, you guys could recommend a system and some games that I might like.

Here are my top 5 fave pc games:

1. Myst- the entire series, especially Uru

2. World of Warcraft- I'm obsessed that all there is to it

3. Scrapland- I have no idea if anyone else has ever heard of this game, but I've played it hundreds of times, up until the point where I lost one of the cds....*burst into tears*

4. Rayman- that little reticent dude is adorable

5. Stolen- I've never looked good in leather before, nor been able to check out my own butt.  I love this game:)

So what do you think, are you able to recommend what might be up my alley?

I'm really interested in No More Heroes, it really looks like fun (and maybe it'll be the first Wii game I'll be able to finish!).

I was wondering, what are yor favorite games for the xbox 360? I'm kinda looking for some great games to buy, but I always end up with buying something for the pc instead.

I was considering Lost Odyssey, did you play it? I'm not much into JRPG myself, but this one looks good and with a solid story.

I now know why Jane Fonda's hand looks rather claw-like in that L'oreal ad, it's because the real secret of looking young is obviously some serious gaming and not expensive pots of cream. I wouldn't have put either of you past your late 20's. I can see women everywhere flocking to their nearest game store.

Speaking ofwhich, I recently bought my mom a NDS for mothers day and she is hooked on 42 all time classics and the Brain training games. Her birthday is coming up in April and I would to buy some games that are similar to the ones I have just mentioned ( I dont think she would like any platform type games) Can you recommend any.

Also does anyone know if the Deal or no Deal game is any good for the nds.?

If u could make a game what kind of game, what style and such? ^^ and btw Dreamfall is the best Adventure game in a long while! can really recoment it! also if u like Point and click adventures go for Runaway: A Road Adventure and Runaway: Dream of the Turtle!

That stuffed bunny is wicked cool.  Love the comments that appear occasionaly at the bottom of the screen.  That dude charging his light enhanced sword weapon in the clip was just as described in the comment before the clip.  Hilarious!  Stay cool in that fall heat.  Hope the chocolate bunnies didn't suffer much when they met their demise (Silence of the Chocolate Bunnies anyone?).  I guess you can't hear them scream if you bite their heads off first, eh?  ; )

This is the first time I've watched your vlog, so apologies in advance if this has already been discussed. Have you played Rock Band yet (XBOX... though in Harvey Norman today I saw that it was on PS as well?)?

This week I've been playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. I've also played Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. PW was good (although a bit short), DQR was kinda cute. Those two probably aren't your sort of games though. :p

Bugger about the Joytech gun.  Money waster and gimmick ploy. 

 I did play Umbrella Chronicles.  I agree, it sucked.  So I got Resident Evil 4 instead (much better).

 PC games are heaps fun!  First person sneakers!!  Downside - not as easily tradeable as console games.

First I would like to say how much I really appreciate the effort you two put into these, some of the games you two present are ones I don't really hear much about.

Second, is the help part. I'm a college student, and have always played games as a kind of stress relief, but I too have only really played computer games. Recently, I have been given a PS3 and would like to know what games you absolutely recommend. I'm looking for games where you can pick it up and play for 10-15 minutes, relax, write a paper, then play for another 15 minutes.

My past gaming is fairly limited but here's the list.

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

Starcraft Broodwar (and I'm not so patiently waiting for Starcraft 2)

Medieval: Total War

Almost all forms of the Sims.

Hi Tracy and Angela, I've been a long-time reader of AfterEllen.com and have finally had a chance to sit down and watch some of your videos.  I have played computer/video games for most of my life, and I also work in the industry.  It's very cool to find other women who are into gaming as much as I am.  :)  Keep up the great work.

A couple of comments about the episode: I love it when anyone mentions "No One Lives Forever".  The original game and NOLF 2 still rank among the funniest games I've ever played.  Being attacked by mimes while riding around on a tricycle - priceless!  I don't have a lot of hope that Monolith will return to the franchise, but I would dearly love to be wrong. 

It was also cool this week to see the announcement about Guitar Hero: On Tour.  They kept saying there would be some kind of peripheral, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how they were going to incorporate that with the DS.  Mystery solved!

By the way, thanks for the earlier recommendation about the psychotic dancing bunnies game on XBox Live Arcade.  I downloaded it and my partner thinks it's hilarious.  I've been playing that and Puzzle Quest this week, which is basically digital crack.   

 I don't have the DS...but when I do, LOOK OUT!

i've been watching your vlogs since the first one...totally stumbling on it by accident and i am so hooked.  though i haven't been playing a lot of games lately.  i got Tombraider Legends last year and i'm still on the first level...an embarassment i know.  i hang my head in shame...

 but since watching Tracy and Angela i am going to be investing in a nintendo ds very soon and puzzle quest. ps...my all time fav game is tetris...i still have my first generation gameboy (grey/green screen, very high tech).  i figure with my busy life right now, portable gaming is probably the way to go.

so, that brings me to my question, ladies...can you please explain this whole "R4/DSTT card thing" to me and have you heard of a "Dsone Card"?   i'm a poor student so i thought i might by used and in my research i came across ds' being sold with these cards loaded with games.

Well i got the dancing stage thingy, i knew my fiance couldnt resist, i was jumping around like a twat and she just couldnt help but push me off to have a go.

No complaints from the neighbours yet so thats a good sign, even if i do sound like an elephant.

Mario kart is out tomorrow on Wii yay cant wait to bring it home after work and play online, there needs to be more games online for the wii damnit.
