Jessica Capshaw stays on "Grey's"

Yes, what can I say? I'm too easy...I still watch it, even after what they did to whoever liked callica a little bit - hahn walking away from everything and never beein seen again.

I just hope they get this one right. I like Arizona now...

This is excellent news - I adore her.

Of course, the way Brooke Smith was treated will never be forgotten (or even forgiven by some), but I am just so happy that they are trying again, and despite the heavy cloud of pessimism around this issue, I'm hoping the relationship will succeed this time. 

My wishlist:

- tone down the perkiness a notch, please. One 'super' per sentence will suffice.
- pour some kerosene on the nighties so ugly, my Grandma wouldn't even wear them.
- bring in a baby with broken bones that will result in some tension, chemistry, Twister, and not-so-accidental hand touching in the OR.

To be honest..I liked Arizona up until she became a lesbian..

Hey...but I love Calzones..so what hell..why not:)

I really like her and Sara as talented actresses so I will be watching....but I really  do wish they had not chickened out with Brooke Smith storyline.  Oh, and lets hope this is not gearing up for just another sweeps stunt.

Finally shes gonna get a girlfriend! Maybe now she'll have a functional relationship! We all know she needs one.

I watched Grey's in the first couple seasons but then something pissed me off and i stopped watching but whne i heard of Callie being gay I was like, "OMG I'm adicted again!!" 

I told my mom Callie needed a relationship and guess what she said..."Yeah she needs a good man in her life." I was like WTF!!! Not that my mom is a homophobe, shes totally for equality, shes just like everyone else and wants someone to relate to.

hope this thing won't end up like mess........

I don't have a choice whether I watch it or not. The girl I work with turns it on every time it's on, and, not having anything to do for the part of the night it's on, I end up watching. I mostly like watching Christina. She's sassy!

But now that there's a chance of yummy lesbian goodness, I might start watching voluntarily. I don't even care if Arizona and Callie end up together, but maybe AZ can get Callie into the lesbian dating scene. Maybe Callie can *gasp* date someone who isn't a co-worker! (What am I saying? No hospital show will ever have that!)

YAY for Callie (like Audie22) said above me...  I am so happy that "possibly" Callie could be in a relationship and be happy :)

i'm starting to hate this show.

No way in HELL I'll be watching! I'm sorry but I swore off Grey's. I still haven't watch the Parking Lot Of No Return ep and Im not about to.

Maybe if she makes it to the next season and everyone tells me there is a successful lesbian relationship on Grey's which lasts for the entire season I'll youtube the Calzona pieces. But before that, Grey's can go f--- itself.

Ok so I have still been watching the show.  I'm not proud of myself as I made such a huge deal about the firing of Erica to all my mates and told them i would never watch another episode but when i have nothing else to watch and see on my tv website that a new episode is available to watch then i lose control of my senses and end up watching it and feel really guilty afterwards (kind of like when you still see an ex girlfriend behind your friend backs because they don't like her because she treated you like crap but she's just so damn hot you can't resist).  I'm so glad i've finally admited my big secret to someone, just don't tell my mates!!

P.S I like Callie and Arizona and think they would be great together. and Christine rox my sox!!

My exposure to Grey's is limited to what I read about the show (most via general TV blogs like Ausiello's EW column) and I don't expect that to change, no matter how many young, hot blondes the Grey's producers throw my way. That said, this news does beget one question: is Sara Ramirez coming back next season?

From what I've been able to gauge, they've spent a considerable amount of time focusing on Bailey's next career move (Callie and Bailey are in the same year of their rotations), but I haven't read anything about what's up for Callie other than her relationship with Arizona. Have Callie's post-residency plans been talked about at all?

Great news. I'm super excited. Super.

But let's wait and see what will come out of this... I like AZ a lot, she's cute, all bubbly and bouncy... I really, really like her. However, I'm not sure about her chemistry with Callie yet. Callie had great chemistry with Erica (not necessarily sexual). But so far it's promising :)

So Amy Jo didn't have to sit through a 60 minute show that dedicates only 5 of those minutes to the lesbian storyline. Not to mention, I don't want to give ABC any more perks in ratings. They quite frankly don't deserve it. Heck, if Sara was a nice boss, she'd only make Dara watch their moments instead of suffering through the entire show.  

So yeah, I'll wait for some hopeful lesbian to post the clips. That way when it doesn't work out again, I won't be invested. I'm such an optimist aren't I?

i loved the story of callie and hahn. and was soooo pissed when hahn just walked off. but hey arizona is soooo much more in callies leage that hahn. callies smokin! and these two together will be great.

however i worry that they wont have the same chemistry that hahn and callie had.

This is good news, I like the character a lot. To me it's just much more believable then Brooks Smith's character.  I was one of the few that had to problem with Grey's dropping her. The way it was done wasn't kool but; they just did nothing for me.

This couple will just make Grey's more inetersting and believable for me. 

I watched Grey's before there was even a thought of a lesbian relationship so I'm kind of invested in it already.  What I'm happy about is that the show is attempting to be good again.  I mean they've pretty much rationalized the whole ghost Denny thing.  I've liked where the Callie/Arizona story line has been going all along and I feel like Grey's is learning from its mistakes (I hope).  And YAY for more Arizona!!!!  I'd love her on the show even if she wasn't a love interest for Callie (although I probably like her more because she is).

I was also never really upset that Callica ended, I was really just upset that they fired a person for pretty much their mistakes.  Callica was never really any good anyways.  I'd say that Callica was only good for a lead in to a good relationship for Callie (finally). 

This farce is disgusting. It’s basically saying, “It’s okay to be a lesbian, if you look and talk like a cheerleader. But God beware you actually show some real personality and have an individual look! (Then we’ll call the Borg and have you assimilated. And if that doesn’t work, we’ll send you some place we will never have to deal with you again. Ever. Yay!)”

Bringing someone like Arizona on board and having her play out the story line that was originally meant for Callica (meeting the parents, moving together, etc.), is a pure insult. Those lesbian viewers who can’t see that and actually cheer upon ABC’s decision, must be considered the lesbian counterpart of the MerDer fans: they are content with getting their perfect harmonious, “happy-happy-joy-joy” love story; they don't care to look beyond that and what this move actually means for lesbians. IMO, it's nothing to cheer about, it's plain sad.
