Also, one thing, the "entire thing" has not moved to Florida quite yet! While the GOP primary in SC was this past Saturday (and McCain won, as you pointed out), the Democratic primary in South Carolina is still gearing up. It is this saturday, the 26th. Last I saw, Obama had a lead, especially among African American voters. This is the first real test for Obama's success among the African American community, so it should prove to be an interesting day!

Congrats, a witty piece as always.

However, I am saddened and worried by your continued support for Mrs Clinton. What exactly do you see in her? As far as I can see she's about as warmongering as Bush (a quick Google should throw up her comments re Iran and permanent Iraqi bases - scary!). Looking beyond Obama (also a warmonger) and Clinton's minority representation (superficial) appeal only two candidates really stand for true change; Ron Paul (immediate troop withdrawal, break-up of corrupt Federal Reserve System etc.) and Dennis Kucinich (immediate troop withdrawal etc.) May I ask how you (and others) feel about those candidates?

The country is in one hell of a mess; biggest deficit in our history, economy on the brink of total collapse, treasonous (look into 9/11 Truth and decide for yourself...please!) forces at the helm, steady erosion of civil rights etc. So, despite being a lesbian and despite being far from happy with the state of gay rights I feel one must pick one's battles and without our basic Constitutional freedoms we have nothing! Bush and his bosses have systematically destroyed too many of these basic freedoms! Only Ron Paul is seriously addressing these issues. Please please please just look into it!

PPPS Of course my comments re the election are most likely irrelevant due to what appears the total corruption of the system itself. (Look into the shambles that is our mostly automated electoral process. (www.blackboxvoting.org)) Also, it is very likely that Mrs Clinton was anointed by the King (sorry, Queen :) ) Makers at Bilderberg (http://www.truthnews.us/?p=259) two years ago. (Again, LOOK INTO IT!)

1. I did my best to pay attention to the whole vlog, but i found myself horribly distracted by the piece of art hanging in the upper right hand corner. I think the colors are what caught my eye. I'm like a crow in need of ritalin. At any rate, is there any way we can get a shot of the whole piece or something? It'd be cool to see the entire thing if even for one second.

2. I'm always amazed by people who actually plan out meals for the Superbowl. Maybe it's just that my dad and i are the only ones in our family who watch it, but all we end up with is pizza and maybe some chips.

3. I like Van/Brenda's name idea. I'll be changing my name soon, too, and i've been trying out different names. Unfortunately, nobody can seem to remember what name i'm going by and i usually just end up on the receiving end of some bad jokes and nicknames. So here's to hoping that trying out different names works out better for Van/Brenda.

You have to, and by have to I mean do it or people will start dying all around the globe, you have to tell the charming wonderful and mysterious Van/Brenda that it is a crime and probably some kind of torture (which I remember you is forbidden) to stop you while you are talking!! please pretty pretty please talk as much as you wish coz we could listen to you until the end of this age and we have a good 20000 years to go!

Personally, I would like to hear more on your opinion of Rudy Giuliani, seeing as you are a New Yorker and you don't seem to have a great opinion of him.  I've heard good and bad, but he seems to be the lesser of the evils among the Republicans.  Not that I am going to vote Republican... Super Tuesday is coming up and I am tossing around whether I should vote for Kucinich on principle, or Clinton because she's the future and needs our votes more.  Giuliani interests me though.

That's not important however, what's important is Green Bay lost to the Giants at home!  OMG!  It's nuts the Giants made it this far, but they have really been looking good over the last bunch of games.  I'm rooting for them, but next year the Bears will be back in the 'Bowl and maybe will win this time.  But I still don't like Eli Manning.  :-/

Okay, so I know it's YOUR vlog, Kate, but how long will the teasing continue? You must know by now that we all want to meet (at least cyberoptically!), that Brenda/Van video goddess of yours. I, for one, am personally starting to feel that s/he doesn't really exist.

So, for at least 60 seconds, can you "man" the camera yourself, Kate, and put Brenda/Van IN FRONT of the camera???

Please don't make us beg anymore!!!

Ok first of all, I love and admire you Kate and have for years. You are witty and uber educated and create interesting dialogue. I must say though, I really think that the vlogs are not long enough. They are over before I have the chance to create any type of reply that doesn't start with..."it's over, already?"

I love that there are many topics you hit on in each vlog but you are Kate Clinton and we expect you to have more to say. A one or two line opinion on each of these topics is simply not enough. When I enter the chat room later on in the day, I want to be able to say "What do you think about what Kate said in her vlog?" and I find myself trying to remember what it is you did say. I can remember the topic but not your opinion, maybe because you have not voiced enough to make it memorable or maybe because you jump to the next topic too fast for me to log what your opinion was. Please consider either less topics and more to say on each one or simply a longer vlog.

Otherwise, I love seeing you twice a week, good luck on quitting caffiene and watch out for those withdrawal headaches! 

Also, there are rumors that are circulating about there being no Brenda/Van so I think a cameo is necessary.
