Yay!  Thanks for the vlog, Kate, and I'm very much looking forward to future vlogs!  Talking about politics, football and the L word -- Seriously, what else could a lesbian ask for?  Cats.  Yeah, cats were missing.  [snaps]

Sadly, I've reached the point where I can no longer find a reason to like Jenny -- She used to be my favorite character and, with this last episode, I now feel as if I am watching some horrible Paris Hilton clone.  [sighs]

Eli Manning looked good, though I can't stand that spoiled overrated quarterback.  I'll be surprised if they make it past this weekend.

I'll definitely have to come watch the cleansing of the White House if it happens.  What a superb idea.

Great Vlog- where else can I hear commentary on the L-word, politics, and football at the same time?  I didn't watch too many playoff games this weekend, I am waiting for my team (the Packers) to play this weekend.

 I agree that some sort of ritual needs to be performed on the White House after whats-his-name moves out!

Damn that L Word spoiler! Haven't watched it yet (I know, I know! Working on it!). Luckily I took the liberty of assuming I'll (still) dislike Jenny, so other than something burning down (I'm trying not to process that bit of information), I think I'm clean.

USA politics, always an amusing topic... Years and years and I still just barely get how the whole thing works, here's what I have: Sometimes it does work and trips to the states become more expensive, and sometimes you end up with a guy who comes over here to ensure peace in the middle east (Because all these years we just haven't given it a good enough try, really...), but considering his amazing record with "peace" probably just ends up eating all my falafel. Hmph. It's my falafel, MINE, and you can't have any!

 

I vaguely remember some sports thing somewhere in the middle there, but it flew past me like a katyusha through the Golan Heights sky... :P

I too have contemplated heading off to the white house with my sage (the cooking kind because voodoo huts have been outlawed by the administration). I've envisioned myself sprinkling it liberally on the grounds. Alas, security is pretty tight here and I have a sneaking suspicion that I'd be shot on sight. So be forewarned: bring plenty of protection! Don't forget to give me a heads up when you get here. I'll be there to support the saging, from a safe distance, of course.

Whoopppeeeeeeee - two of my favorite ladies on the same day - Catherine Tate and Kate Clinton!  I love this woman, just laugh-out-loud humor, and Hilarity Clinton? - priceless!

I love your idea to spiritually cleanse the White House – I just don’t think there’s enough sage in the world.

After the politicization of most of the "career" jobs in the judicial and state departments, as well as the pentagon, cia, dept. of "homeland" security and the fbi, you better have truckloads of sage, because that village is going to need fumigation from the bottom up. Kate, First I'd like to say your first vlog was great!  The next thing is a little more awkward, I don't know if you remember me, from about 22 years ago, we met at a gig you had in San Francisco.  This is difficult for me to say, especially when so much time has gone by, but...I had your baby. She's all grown up now, and just graduated from UMass.  She has you eyes.  I haven't told her you're her other mother yet, but plan to after I finish this pitcher of Margaritas.  Looking forward to your next vlog!

Huge admiration for Kate Clinton, but this was just mildly acerbic and not LOL funny, hardly hilarious?! Have we lost our critical faculties when it comes to our own? She repeated the word "exciting" more than 10 times (sloppy) and should have gotten the FIFTH Season of The L Word correct - and not have given away the plot! Hey momma! I knew one day  I would find you! Mother said you had been killed in a heroic rescue of a litter of kittens from up a tree in Central Park   -  why were you up a tree momma? I think you would be proud of me as I have turned into quite a woman (well old enough to be your daughter really ). If you need a protester for any LGBT issues I am there - I got my protest sign all ready for a cafe which refused to serve Elderberry Tea with a spring of  mint  - how are we lesbians to live! This was just out and out discrimination and requires us to stand up and be counted.

I am a wooly liberal who thinks anything goes for any one right up until it affects me personally.  God and I have a good working relationship and she tells me God Adores You (did you get what I did there with the letters?)

It was a nice first attempt (crucify her!, crucify her!!), but frankly it annoyed me everytime kate stopped to stress if she was speaking too quickly and I was under the impression that the vlog was supposed to be funny or something...it wasn't.

I hope you have better luck with the next one.
