A special thanks goes out to Kate for her trip down memory lane on the herstory of Easter. After recovering from those Catholic-school-day flashbacks, I couldn't stop laughing at her interpretation.

Not sure if HRC could do a speech on the gender diaspora as well as obama's on race but would be nice to hear.

Yes funnily enough JC managed to move from christmas to easter in 3 months- yet the democrat election is pending for well over 6months by now...... :)

If Hillary gave a major speech on sexism and misogeny, she would be described by the media as an angry feminist. 

 

You should sing at the beginning of all your shows (I love it - especially the Irish Jig)  - how would Hillary's mysogny speak start?

I completely agree with what Stormy wrote here. If Hillary were to give a major speech on sexism and misogeny, she would be crucified by the press. (Yes, I'm a recovering Catholic too.) So great is women's self-hatred, instilled, in large part, by religious teachings, that I even wonder if Kate here would support such a speech by Hillary or anyone else, for that matter. "Sociopathic woman hating," as Robin Morgan referred to it, may be too entrenched at this point.
