    Hey Kids!

Out of all the blogs I really love this one. The length is perfect yet it is chalked full of fun and insightful news and thoughts on the current events of the day.

Thanks so much Kate this is such a smart vlog!

    debates

Maybe its Clinton's smart move, not only she is better in debate; in debate, she can ensure she has as much air time as obama

I was *so* happy that 'Freeheld' won (that was the only award I really cared about) and I loved that Jon Stewart brought your woman back out to 'enjoy [her] moment'.

    Ralph Nader

Ralph Nader might consider taking Fidel Castro's place.  There are probably many consumer advocacy things he could do in Cuba.  Just saying.

Kate, I've seen you in Provincetown many times and in NYC during a blizzard (you knew the dykes would get to the show in our pick-up trucks and SUVs.)  It's great to see you every week.  And you look fabulous!

Can Jon Stewart Bring Back Cut-Off Political Candidates?

If Jon Stewart were to control news coverage of the election, perhaps he could bring cut-off candidates back to the podium so that they could actually give their speeches for television viewers instead of having them be interrupted by blowhards and the networks that allow them to blow their spin. No wonder Castro's 18-hour rants came to mind. Nobody had better interrupt our Kate! She's too wise and wonderful. And she sings Broadway tunes (in tune) and cooks Indian spice-infused chili too. Singing, "Who could ask for anything more?" A daily vlog from Kate would be my answer. Better than coffee.

    Always entertaining

Another great 6 minutes. I watched the L word instead of the Oscars....sorry. What I did see was entertaining..... have you seen the Sarah Silverman/Jimmy Kimmel rants on MySpace. What great fun and Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are great sports to participate. Sarah purports to be F**king Matt and Jimmy retorts to be F**king Ben Affleck and the footage is very funny. Find it and laugh.

Ralph Nader is a closeted REPUBLICAN!

It has to be true... The only time he hasn't stepped in to split the progressive/liberal/Democrat/thinker vote was when George W ran for re-election against Kerry (which wasn't the strongest of campaigns....)

GRRR Ralph Nader - maybe there's an old Corvair out there we can give him the keys to....

    I'm thankful for

Kate Clinton. Perception and reason among the insanity of the mainstream media. Not much commentary gets me laughing out loud these days, but this does it. I log in to afterellen anxious to see if a new Hilarity vlog has been posted to get a break from the normal slant. And, I agree with all of cbaker3333's and Strike It Up's comments about Kate as well.

It is driving me somewhat crazy that there is not even more support for Hillary among women -- must the term "self-hating" be resurrected? I can only hope that if Hillary does not prevail that she's at least provided some inspiration for the future. My 8 year old niece did email me her thoughts on the race, which gave me some solace: "Hillary's awesome. She has experience so she knows what to do." You said it!

On the Oscars, at least the Coens winning provided a brief glimpse of Francis McDormand, who played one of my all time favorite characters in Fargo, so she's always a welcome sight. I'd like for her to be on our team but I guess we can't have everyone.

Looking forward to seeing Kate again at NCLR this year.
