Melora and Christina... a
Melora and Christina... a bit heavy on the make-up
America.. lipstick is too red and dress is a bit heavy for her.
Tina and Chandra nailed it..the whole thing!
Love Cyntha's hair and Kate's vintage look!
best dress!
#2 Mary Louise Parker, #1 Tina Fey

Who's that girl?
Phoebe Price
Her name is Phoebe Price. She is a regular over at Go Fug Yourself and definitely has an interesting way of dressing.
Oh My God, That Britni's Shameless
Chandra Wilson Was Robbed!
Chandra Wilson was robbed!
I was so mad after they announced that category, I stopped watching.
From what I did say, and what I've read about the festivities since I stopped watching (she was robbed!), I'm disappointed in the lack of diversity on the stage. Was there even one person of color that won an award tonight? A friend of mine sent me a text after it was over saying that it reminded her of the RNC, no diversity and everyone talking about Barack Obama.
Ricky Gervais should definitely host the Emmys next year, though.

I had the exact same response!
I watched the whole thing, and while I was really happy that Tina Fey and 30 Rock as a whole did well (they REALLY deserved it), it was rather frustrating to see award after award go to people who all look the same. It would be one thing if there weren't any actors and actresses of color who had performances worthy of winning, but that wasn't the case at all. Chandra definitely deserved that award (and to be honest, I wouldn't really have minded if Sandra Oh had taken it-after this season, she earned it). The whole thing was sort of depressing.
Also, can anyone tell me about some of these shows that won? I've never before heard of a lot of the things that won awards (which is odd, as I watch a lot of tv).

And where, may I ask, is
And where, may I ask, is Olivia Wilde? Her dress was pretty classy.
Ah beat me to it. But yes,
Ah beat me to it. But yes, when House got there Writing Emmy and they panned over to the "House" section you saw Olivia and just had to think, "Whoa!"
Shame Sarah, no Wilde love.
Olivia Wilde @ the Emmys

if every word i said, could make you laugh, i'd talk forever...
Primetime America
I agree with it being like the RNC, I think the only "colored" person I saw up on that stage tonight was Oprah and one of the guys from amazing race, and that was it.
Best Dress Tina Fey and Amy should just hook-up already
Worst Dress Christina Applegate and also the makeup and hair looked like something the Chinese easter bunny would put together.

When in doubt, finger something out.
uncalled for
well said
Kathy Griffin and Tina Fey
Kathy Griffin and Tina Fey look AMAZING. omg. I love the way Kathy's dress, skin tone and hair color.... and Tina Fey................. no words......... lots of crush-appeal
I also really liked the print on Vanessa Williams dress
Olivia Wilde
Go Tina Fey!
Seriously, she's gonna need to buy another house just to keep all her awards in. And she looked lovely. :)
I would have liked Kristin Chenoweth to win for best supporting actress in a comedy. She's such a cutie. ;)
Christina Hendricks?
and her gorgeous curves?? Beautiful. Hello, real women!
Oh My God, That Britni's Shameless
Christina Hendricks
Yowza
*dies*
God, I love Christina Hendricks. How anyone can be that perfectly gorgeous is completely beyond me.
thank you!
I haven't seen NEARLY enough red carpet pics of Ms. Hendricks. And it is so true that among the typical, "hot" ladies in television, she is one of the VERY few with a curvy, realistic bod--and in my opinion, by far the hottest.
She looked fabulous! I love Mad Men
Not to be crude...
This woman tends to evoke the most carnal lustful parts in me at the moment....
I mean that green dress.....good god!
.....
I second that
MADWOMEN
Oh!
And I kind of thought everyone looked great! I didn't love Mary Louise Parker or Sarah Paulson's hair. I also didn't love America Ferrera's dress (is it just me or has she lost weight? If so, boo). But all in all, everyone looked amazing. Not as many fashion "don'ts" as usual.
Oh My God, That Britni's Shameless
All of these women looked
The best part of the night
The red carpet was the best part of the night. That and Tina Fey kicking the ass of the "good old boys".
Mariska is just beautiful!!
Mariska is just beautiful!! I love her!!

re: Mariska is just beautiful!!
all of them are gorgeous...
Emmys
Yes, the show itself was disappointing, especially the lame opening by the five hosts. But it was nice to see Tina Fey and "30 Rock" get the Emmys they so richly deserve.
And I am glad "Mad Men" won for best drama. I watched it this summer on DVD and while at first I didn't understand all the hype it got, it soon drew me in and I got hooked. Now I have to wait until the second season comes out on DVD to get my fix! I agree about how hot Christina Hendricks is in that green dress. She's hot on "Mad Men" as well, despite (or perhaps because of) her more restricting '60s outfits :)
Finally, a little "Mad Men" trivia: Jon Hamm, who plays Don Draper and who was nominated for Best Lead Actor, is the longtime boyfriend of Jennifer Westfeldt. Westfeldt starred as bisexual Jessica in, and co-wrote, "Kissing Jessica Stein" in 2001. Here is a photo of the two of them at the Emmys:
i'd go gay for hargitay.. oh wait...
i must be biased but WOOOO mariska hargitay looked SO amazing in that dress. and so did olivia wilde.
all time fave? TINA FEY. hands down. amazing.
"Sometimes when i get homesick i hum the mr softee song"
Gorgeous
YES, THANK YOU!
When I saw the cast of Mad Men towards the end walk up to the stage (and I had stopped paying attention to the awards by then) I caught a woman in dark green out of the corner of my eye and was mesmerized!
I thought, "who is this gorgeous woman?!". Of course, even though I had no idea she was on Mad Men, I wasn't surprised to see later on who she was because I was already totally in love with Ms. Hendricks from her part on Firefly as the amazing Saffron!
This woman is stunning and her body is amazing! I think I might start watching the show just for her...
