:D You guys are back!!
you two are awesome
I wish I had friends like you when I was in college, waaay back when. ^^
Thanks for making this vlog episode (?) even though the Terminator show is over. I'm sure your recaps were all spot-on and insightful, but since I never watched the actual tv show, I'm partial to the vlogs where the two of you just talk about "nothing." Hooray for nothing!!
a mess
y'all can talk about nothing all you want cause that was funny as hell.
oh and the site is loversandfriendsshow.com. loversandfriends.com is some straight people mess.
anyway keep the vlogs coming. i love you guys.
Loved it, Loved it Loved it.
Loved it, Loved it Loved it. So funny. Great work guys!!
Thanks for telling us about,
loversandfriendsshow.com
Great Vlog
1. I have to come out all the time since I dont look stereotypically gay.
This happened to me two days ago:
S- I look like a big dyke
A- No you dont
S- Yea I do every time i go out people assume I'm gay.
A- No you don't your not like a dude
Me- I dont act like a dude
A- but your not gay
Me- yes I am
A- Really!! omg, do you have a girlfriend?
S- I new the first day I met you.
I have a rainbow necklace and key chain because I have to advertise my gayness
2.What do I find attractive in a girl...
- Love Love Love flat stomachs and tomboyish type girls
Both of you guys are really cute
3. And I feel you on baggy skinny jeans. I wear a size 0 or 1. I eat all the time I just can't gain any weight. I'm like the tinest person ever
Loved the Vlog as always. I wish I could go to Dinah, but in addition to being a poor college student I have no time.
Thanx for supporting gay black girls with dreads:)
~Sarah
Hooray Youre Back!!
Yay youre back! I knew I'd be seeing you two in the Dinah footage but to have you back vlogging is like having your cake and eating it too.
I dated and crushed on a few boys all through elementary and middle school but none really in high school. By the time was in middle school my crushes for girls started outnumber my crushes for boys. I came out as bisexual to all friends when I was 15, then lesbian to everyone else when I turned 19. I consider myself to be a gold star lesbian since never did the deed with any boys but I was a total lip whore. I had several friends who were way to fond of the game spin the bottle. I got my first kiss from a cute girl at a party when I was 16. I'd kissed many boys but when I kissed her I knew I was gay. Even though I've had sex with a few girls I've yet to be in a real relationship with one. But I know once I start going to school again that will change.
I had no real problem with coming out to my family due to the fact that both my mom and uncle are gay. But as you both know it's still a taboo thing in the black community. Other then my grandparents, everyone in my immediate family knows I'm gay. My grandmother is a sweet and tiny woman but with one stare she strike the fear of god in a grown man's heart. I love her to death but she scares the shit out of me.
I made the wrong decision of spillin' my own tea to a my favorite cousin (who knew but wasn't sure), a few summers ago at a family party. The next morning I got a phone call from my grandmother asking me to keep stuff like that to myself. The next time she brought it up I didn't have the heart to tell her it was true. Even though she has two gay kids she is still very homophobic. I remember back in 2004 I made the mistake of jokingly telling her that a girl friend and I had gone down to San Francisco and had gotten married (which would've been impossible since was only 17). Oh my god was that a bad idea. I had never seen my grandma that livid in all my life. Even though I told her it was joke she still didn't care. For 45 minutes, both my mother and I stood in her kitchen frozen, as she lectured us about the sins of homosexuality. After she was done yelling we made our escape out the door, got in the car, and drove away in shock. We learned an in very important less that day. You hold in that much anger and it's bound to come out sooner or later. I swear little old ladies are scariest people in the world.
I love it when you two ramble on. It's sweet and extremely funny.
Questions!
1) Can you shows us your other tattoos?
2) What instruments did you play in band?
3) What are your favorite movies? Both gay and straight.
Yay for being back
I'm so happy you guys are back even though big girls can't get any love!
I've had 1 boyfriend so I guess I fall closer into the no boys category.
Okay Jenn eventhough I'm sure Dee told you what a gold star lesbians is here's the definition. So my question is are you? lol
I don't know what you guys could vlog about regularly but with pride coming up you could go to the Black prides and talk about that.
oh and here's the link for lover's and friends if that doesn't work you can go to loversnfriendsshow.com I haven't watched it yet but it looks good.

*looks at Sarah*
I don't know about you, but I'M taking a trip to Mobile on that note. Is it possible to get turned out again? I'll damn sure try. For research purposes.
great vlog!
1. Jenn completely
1. Jenn completely reciting the T-Pain "phone-in" skit had me literally rolling!
2. I know Dee did not just do the Wipe Me Down dance; c'mon CT isn't supposed to be doing that tomfoolery? Lil' Boosie BadAzz? Smh.
3. Sarah: Someone at work just told me that the whole office "knows" I'm gay. Probably just because the chick with the Xena bag came to visit.
4. As a Bisexual, I don't really think it's easier... at least not within the LGBT community. Sometimes, I keep that to myself, as people (both gay and straight) seem to think it means I want "one of each." You do come across those lesbians who will really make you feel alienated for "not picking a side." Which is bullshit.
wow. Jen.
OMG!!! THE Phone In Skit. Too Much. LOL

Bisexuality
The term Bisexual, for many people, implys that the attraction to men and women is 50/50. But thats not true. I identify as a Lesbian, but I'm not 100% gay (more 90/10). At the same time I feel that term "bisexual" isn't the correct for me. I think that as humanbeings there is an intrinsic need to have an identity or label for yourself and its only recenlty that I've come terms with the fact that my sexuality has no label. Some times I am attracted to guys (i haven't REALLY liked one since I was 15, but I'm sure it could happen again). But the way I feel about women; romantically, physically, emotionally, etc. far out ways any attraction to men so most of the time its easier to just say I'm gay.
I do feel that it is much easier to be 100% gay or 100% straight. The straight community doesn't agree with your "pervesion" or think your being greedy (my friends dad told her that) and the gay community feels like your turning your back on them if you like someone of the ooposite sex.

SHOWING SOME SOUTHERN LOVE
hilarious
don't knock vlogging about nothing, it was pretty interesting hearing about the dl party on gay street with neon pink triangles posted all over place, lol. very inconspicious.
i'm a gold star too. for a while i didn't date anyone, and then i gave into peer pressure when i was 16 and had exactly one "boyfriend" for an entire weekend, lol. it was this popular basketball player who kept looking at me all funny (to me it was funny, my straight friends recognized it as teenage lust) whenever i came into class and he asked me out. i asked my friends what i should do, and they said i needed a boyfriend because i never had one, and it was starting to look strange. i acquiesced, said i would be his girlfriend, and got his phone number. this was on a friday afternoon. i tried calling that damn number all weekend to break up with him and i kept getting a busy signal and an answering machine. MONDAY MORNING i saw that boy and broke up with him right there. afterwards i had little flirtations with guys, and when i was 18, i started dating women and called myself bi-sexual. then i faced the music when i was 19, let go of the veneer of straightness, and started calling myself a lesbian.
the outing by myspace reminds me of when a girl i was dating was outed on TV when we went to the gay pride parade together. we're all dancing in the street, having fun and making out, when she gets a call from her parents that they were sitting in the living room with her grandparents and the rest her family flipping through channels and when they saw her ass waving the rainbow flag and grinding on women at the gay pride parade on NY1. so obviously she had to go home and handle that situation, and unfortunately i never really heard from her again.
i think you ladies should just continue to vlog about nothing until workout comes on, and then you can vlog about that. oh and dee, i know what you mean, nicole pina is fine as hell, and she's all giggly and adorable too. i love that show. and jenn, please wear a bikini. and take lots of pics, too. in fact, both of you, do the binkini thing. ;-)
#1 ... I'm hatin' cause I'm not goin' to Dinah.
Heard alot about it. BUT NEXT YEAR!!! OH YES! I WILL BE THERE!
ok. So. The thing about high school and the Gay and lying to yourself ... and others. Yea. That struck home. I was the one in Middle school that just didn't date. Everyone knew me as "Aksala-The-Virgin." I was never questioned about my sexuality. No one suspected it ... hell I didn't suspect it.
Until her.
:: Insert Dramatic Music Here::
I'll call her Deena. She was in my AP English class. I thought she was so funny. smart. and ... something else. (later I would come to realize that the something else was in fact "INCREDIBLY HOT") She played basketball. AWEsome athlete. Super curly jet black hair that she wore in a ponytail all the time. Dimples! Just precious.
So. As the cosmos would have it. Her Dad and my Mom (both divorcees) met and kinda hit it off... This totally grossed me out. For some unknown reason. My Mom came home one day and was all "Hey! Mark and Deena are comin' over for dinner!" I panicked! I cleaned that damn house from top to bottom. I wanted to impress her! I wore my new Eastlands and my lil' yellow Tommy polo (YALL KNOW YOU WORE 'EM!! It was the 90's!!) So she came by. I was so nervous. I loved the way she laughed. We played Super Nintendo while our parents talked on the porch.
The big Ebony & Ivory dance was coming up. So I turned to her and said "You goin' to the dance?"
"Yea, I'm goin. You?"
"Yea. I um. I was wonderin' like. Are you goin' with anyone?"
"Nah." she laughed, glanced at me, and continued to play with Yoshi on the screen.
"Oh. ok. Cause like... I'm not goin' with anyone either and uh. yea. I was wonderin' if you would take pictures with me."
"Ok. Thas cool."
And we played SUper Mario Bro. till it was dark. We took pics together. It was an awesome night. She and I continued to be friends all through high school. And that's it.
She's been out for years. Went and played college ball in Kentucky. I finally accepted my gay like... two years ago. :)

It was INCREDIBLE. She came to Mobile, AL cause University of South Alabama's African American Studies Dept. brought her down for their annual MLK celebration. My last semester there and WHAM! I get to meet my literary idol!
The program started at like ... 7. I was there at 4. I LOVE that woman. It was an honor to meet her.

Welcome back
Welcome back you two. It’s has not be the same. You two are so cute, even though your specifications Dee pretty much rules me out. That and the fact I live on the other side of the Atlantic. I love your vlog (whatever is about) it makes me laugh.
I can relate to going to Uni’s LGBT social. Its weird meeting classmates you suspected might be gay.
Thanks for recommending loversandfriendsshow. If you can shout out similar shows, that will be great.
Love you guys
I cannot wait to see all your Dinah's pictures.
Glad to see you back!
Regardless of how boring you might have felt, I was still thoroughly entertained. Especially when Jenn started whipping out the science gear, haha. I was having 8th grade flashbacks when you broke into "Bill Nye The Science Guy" haha, that was awesome.
Child of the Rainbow
1. I knew I was a child of the rainbow back when I was in middle school, but I was too chicken shit to come out. I was a proser in highschool. I had one boyfriend and he was more like my bestfriend cause all we did was play video games. He tried many times to get me to be a "bad" girl, but I never slept with him. Proud to be a GOLD STAR.
2. I guess I am in the only serious relationship I have had. Before I got with my girl I did not do relationships, I just hit-it and quit-it. Now I am domesticated and very happy.
3. Yall are funny as hell. I don't laugh that hard when I watch stuff on television that someone is paid good money to write funny shit. Vlog about whatever.
Thanks for the vlog, come back soon!

can i just say that i think you are totally awesome? Your like the perfect example of what a straight ally should be. Your sensitive, intelligent and aware of issues. All your comments are so respectful as well.
And i can totally relate to getting along better with women than guys.
Next Topic
You should discuss popular Lesbian Movies/films on your next vlog and your favorite ones.
"Loving Annabelle" my fav.
I guess I have a thing for 'female teacher - female student' relationship. Or maybe it's just that i like older women/girls
A Hot Mess
Ladies, you never need to apologize for discussing whatever comes to mind. While I have watched every vlog you both have done, my two favorites thus far are this one and your previous random vlog. I find them to be more informative than the processing of a TV show that has nothing to do with our realities. So keep them coming.
On a very personal note....
Jenn, oh Jenn, would you think about maybe possibly considering a marrige proposal from an unknown stranger, who has it bad for you? (Think back to your declarations about the hot chick with no lines on TSCC). Before you answer, please know that you are quite possibly my first love, so think about it. Additionally, we can legally get married in the State in which I live and I would take care of everything. "Cause I got it bad, an that ain't good." Ella Fitzgerald.
I am now off to watch Lovers and Friends, to seek a potential backup in case Jenn turns my proposal down. One love ladies.
Very funny, it was
Mr. Wizard
Dee, I remember Mr. Wizard. I even had his book "Mr. Wizard's Supermarket Science" when I was a kid.
Thank you both for posting a new vlog. I really think the "nothing" vlogs are quite fun because they seem more like conversations and one of the best things about AfterEllen is the conversation and community. But I still love the recaps!
Have a wonderful time at Dinah.
Thought'd i'd say hey. I
Thought'd i'd say hey.
I really like this vblog. You both are really interesting, insightful and totally hilarious even when you are talking about stuff in general.
As a gay guy this might sound weird to people. But i enjoy the content, the blogs and vblogs here much more than i do the ones at afterelton. Plus the forum topics are so interesting and there is way more conversation here than at afterelton.
And like OmegaII i get along way better with women, especially lesbian/bi women, than i do with guys, gay or straight. I just feel more comfortable around women. dunno.
I am So glad Your back/ You shoud vlog about...
Best vlog ever, you guys!
Best vlog ever, you guys! You two are so hilarious and adorable.
I think beer bellies should be illegal for both sexes.
I actually prefer older femmes, they are my favorite. I call them my Mrs. Robinsons.
And I agree with the poster who wanted to talk about tattoos :)
Maybe you guys could vlog about "Work Out"!
Jenn's White Party designer wear
What a great Idea! Face shields, goggles, and protective aprons and shoe covers will really come in handy when the party get crazy and drinks start flying and well, some over-imbibe and hurl. And Dee, what better accessory for clubbing with the girls than a data stick on a lanyard! Sadly, I wear that shite every dang day at work in the lab, only with a full bunnysuit too. Thank dog our bunnysuits aren't the unbearably non-breathing Tyvek. Talk about sweat me down! But seriously, I am jealous that you guys are going to the Dinah. Have tons of fun.
As for the whole denial thing, for me, it was the 70's, and being gay was still considered a mental illness by some schools of thought. I didn't date anyone in high school. Too busy with soccer and partying. Then in college, I was still in denial, so I "experimented" with heterosexuality (OK, I thought I could f*ck my way to being straight, but no, I was just a slut). And the bad
one night standdate stories I could tell about that whole experience....'nuff said. Alas, no gold (Au) star for me.I am with you both in that if South of Nowhere had been on the TV when I was growing up, I probably would have had some self realization much sooner, and would have enjoyed high school and college a lot more. But hey, I did end up playing and enjoying competitive soccer until my late 30's, so I had that. ; )
Thanks for posting your vlog about nothing. Sometimes less IS more! Looking forward to whatever you guys vlog about in the future.
Dee and Jenn vloggged it DOWN
If no one's already going to do it, how about a BSG vlog? Even if you've never seen it, you can catch up pretty quick.
Mr. Wizard and Bill Nye? You rock.
Your friend,
Rusty
http://lezbang.com/
Love the both of y'all.
Love the both of y'all.
Thanks for this installment. It was jus plain hilarious. Feel free to vlog about anything that strikes your fancy. Jenn, love hearing you sing the lil snippets of songs and both of you doing the wipe me down was jus precious.
Here here for the ample posteriors though I will say there is just something about the eyes that does it for me ... ooo and an accent. There is just something about having an accent that makes me want to say AMEN!
Dee we'll be waiting on those Dinah photos. I hear you on having wide hips ... buggering genetics. Side note to Jenn, you could also consider rocking the the House of Hefty line of couture wear. The garbage (say it with a French accent) line is a personal favorite of mine if we are working on a site and it starts raining ...
Qn for Jenn, as a soccer player do you follow the Euro leagues or MLS?

Love
I almost forgot, that buffy the body pic had my mind for a hot minute.
To Miss "I don't believe in love...anymore" and Big Pimpin' advice from one of my favorite movies. "Be open to love." and remember "love is harder than
crimemusic/science."A hot mess!!
But I enjoyed this. Please do more of these. You don't need no show have a vlog. Tell us more about what you do in those labs! I could be either fascinated or freaked out but I'm willing to risk that LOL.
But for serious though, y'all vlogged it down!
Go forth and press play @ 3WayTv.tv
So Happy You're Back!!!
i'm a junior in high school now, and am totally out (i'm the president of my high schools GSA, and just last month i did a sensitivity training for the entire faculty.... yeah [: ) and have been out since 7th grade, but i had i guy i was "dating" in 5th grade for like three months, and i felt bad caue he really liked me and i dumped him cause i just wasn't feelin it :/ most girls i know that are out to me but not other people just don't date. theres a bi girl i know (that's not out) that dates lots of guys, but she's said that she really just wants to be with a girl.
yay Dee and swimming!! swimmers unite!!
things to talk about:
both of you mentioned you did sports, maybe talk about being queer on a team with a bunch of girls that are straight(or maybe not so straight!)?
jen: why did you get into mortuary science?
Dee: i'd love to see you in your fly-fishing-mechanic outfit!
a lot of girls i know (even though they weren't\aren't out) fool around with girls when they're younger, did you guys? (if this is too personal, no worries!)
you guys are adorable! i wish i could go to dinah and say hi!!
you guys Vlog it down!!
loved it as usual
Since you mentioned things that should be banned on a woman (I think men should be included) I'd like to add muffin top to the list. Now don't get me wrong, low rise jeans are cute... on some people. I also think some of those people who it could've been cute on were simply wearing the wrong size. Sad times.
I think you should vlog about whatever your interests are. Like what new music artist do you love? What shows do you really watch when you're not recapping? Or since you said your life revolves around school... what did you do before school ate your life? Or just whatever you feel like talking about. Even if it's what your favorite car/book/song/food/bodywash/tree/place is. I think people (myself included) just like hearing you guys talk. Even if it about nothing. You're very entertaining.
So Cute
this vlog is hilarious
gay street? wtf? wonder who named that street.
and, by no means is it easier to be bisexual. we catch a great deal of hate and attitude from straight people and gay people all the time.
i was kinda shocked to hear dee hatin on the big girls though.

are you piesexual?
