Is it Wednesday yet?

frosch411 online Voogle
I really like your vlog
I am not that good on matching clothes, so I really want some idea on what to wear if I want to go for the hip hop style, cause sometimes I like to wear that when i go out to clubs...
anywho keep giving good ides to all of us :)
Wow
Woah! :) I always knew I was
oh god, you're right! i knew
Right on
I also prefer the theater/dinner scene to the club, and I complete agree that you can never go wrong with a black dress or suit... classy AND hot! ;-)
Since it's the beginning of October, how about some fall fashion? It's getting chilly and the short sleeves and flipflops that everyone is trudging around in on campus arent cutting it anymore here in Rhode Island... help! haha
You guys are funny and awesome, love the vlog, keep up the great work! :)
You two did it again!
Eric and Alexi,
Another great episode! Wednesday took forever to get here. Not since Cagney & Lacey (oops showin' my age), not since Will & Grace have I loved watching two people together. The black dress was awesome. Eric let us see that leather jumpsuit.....haha. Keep up the GREAT work!
Steve
cool!
thank you for all the tips!
Eric, i love you! you're awesome!
Alexi, i think you're too hott...! umm yeah...thank you...
=)
i am into the club/night scene more but a nice dinner and theatre is a lot of
fun and you dont have to worry about where you end up the next day...lol...
ps. Alexi you're a classy lady! ;)
Theater + Jeans = No
I totally agree with you.
I totally agree with you. Nobody respects the theatre more than us. The only time i ever wear jeans to the theatre is if its a matinee.. and i think ive only done that once or twice. but some people just do NOT like to dress up. So, i try to appeal to everyone. to each their own.
PS - if i was in a Broadway play right now, i wouldn't care one bit what people were wearing. just as long as they are enjoying the show!
ps: will my plastic neon hipster friends settle down by fall?
i like this. and the format really works. how about a post dedicated to accessorizing? it feels like im seeing too many women out there who are trying to follow certain trends with accessories (bracelets especially) and end up weighing themselves down (like the double or triple wristcuff on both wrists) or just getting the proportions all out of whack in general. and/or some tips for the reverse- how to accessorize for ladies who consider throwing on anything other than their trusty water-proof watch treading in unstable waters. regardless, thanks for doing this vlog. it's good to see some fashion around here.
jeans in the theatre....
aren't HORRIBLE. i mean, yes, be respectful in what attire you wear, but you don't have to be fancy either. I think jeans and a cute top are a good median between fancy and underdressed. You have the jeans which are pretty casual and a nice top that fits into evening attire.
Sweatpants, however, are NEVER an option. Perhaps this is an idea for another topic...how to dress down and still look cute....Everyone has those days where they are sick and miserable, but you still have to leave the house. Maybe you could give some pointers on how to throw on a pair of sweatpants and still be in fashion.
and by the way, i heart hazie..the end.
KRISTIN CHENOWETH
lol
Like the new format...
This week's video was a lot smoother than last week's with showing pics of the clothes as you discussed them and then showing fun videos with them on later. Speaking of fun vidoes, loved the video outtakes at the beginning of Alexi's night in and the dance club takes!
Also, gotta love the glasses takes and Kristin hottness!
Topic idea: How to look hot in the cold.
Finally joined just to post
Be Your Fab Femme Self
Um, hello cute girl. No need to andro it for us, Alexi. You're very cute as you are. In fact, can I say: you are like the popular girl in school that some of us had a crush on but didn't ever imagine were into girls. You've trumped that, severely. Maybe you have no idea. But I like it. Don't change it for anyone but yourself.
i'm glad there's finally a
i'm glad there's finally a vlog focused on fashion on afterellen, and it being based in nyc makes it even better! i just have one question for alexi: what kind of makeup do you have on? it's absolutely fabulous, especially the eyeshadow and lipgloss.
:)
THANKS YA'LL
lol, I just got hooked with
lol, I just got hooked with the first episode. You guys are awesome, hilarious and helpful. And was going :O-ing when I saw there's a second one already. YAY!

I'm calling shenanigans
Delurking to call shenanigans...
I'm sorry but my gaydar is pinging not all on this girl. I mean nothing. So I looked her up. She has a blog, and in it she wrote about how John Stamos was so hot and made her weak in the kness when he smiled at her. How deep in the closet can you be where you need to blog about how hot John Stamos is?
Plus, she's kind of a clebrity, seeing as her dad is an MLB manager (for Arizona). Why wouldn't AE do a profile on her? It just doesn't sit right with me. It would have been more believable if she would have put bisexual on her profile, instead of lesbian.
I don't mind straight girls posting vlogs here, and she's very good at fashion, but I have to to call shenanigans on this one.
so let's settle this nonsense...
I'm going to come to Lexi's defense on this one. She is gay...she's a big lez. Trust me. I can promise you she is. I honestly don't think its any of your business to "call shenanigans". Think what you want, but you're incorrect and slightly rude. She's not really a celebrity either. Her dad is a manager for the Diamondbacks...so what? She's a lesbian and it really isn't your job to make the assumption that she isn't. Instead of proving a point like you intend to do, you're really making yourself look like an ass
Questioning sexual orientation
Janelle - it's fine to not watch the vlog, or to give constructive criticism of the content, but it's not OK to question a vloggers's (or any AfterEllen.com member's) sexual orientation because she doesn't look/act like what you think a lesbian should look/act like.
One of the positive aspects to increasing lesbian/bi visibility in entertainment is that it dispels the myth that there is only one way for lesbian and bisexual women to look or act. I myself have been glared out of lesbian bars several times in my life because I apparently look too "straight" for some people to believe I'm gay. And judging by all the comments I've seen on the site about this issue, there are a lot of other AfterEllen.com readers who have experienced the same thing. I also know more than one lesbian who will admit to finding the occasional man attractive (just check out all the commenters on Malinda's list of Top 10 Lesbian-ish Men).
Please keep this in mind, and don't post comments on the site questioning someone's sexual orientation unless you have a very good reason to.
*applause*
Well said, Sarah, well said.
*Standing ovation*
Thank you Sarah Warn! Im currently dealing with people questioning my sexuality from both sides of the spectrum. And its so offensive. Its not for you to decide who or what I am or who or what anyone else is. I say go ahead and mind your own. And I think John Stamos is hott too. So there.
But anyways great job on this vlog guys. I'm liking it to the max!
UNCLE JESSE!
Oh you made my day, John Stamos is hot and awesome and has great hair.
Finally a fashion blog on Afterellen YAY! Can you please do a vlog on shoes, shoes and shoes? Thank you!
Ohh Alexi....hellllllo!
Fall fashion yes! andd
Alexi
Alexi, you are GORGEOUS! :)
Have you done any modelling?
Love the vlog! Informative AND goofy at the same time.
Incredible apartment, by the way.
Fashion tip request for future shows? Ummmmm... lingerie?
haha! XD KIDDING! (...sorta)
Alexi...
Hey! I love your blog and was wondering, well, hoping you could give me some advice. I'm getting married in the winter of '10 and have pretty much picked up my dress. My girl and I went to try on some gowns on Friday, and I'm a little concerned as for the make-up and jewelry. I was wondering if you could give me any tips on co-ordinating? It's a winter wedding ceremony, and I'll be wearing an ivory dress with minimal gold detail. Any advice would help!
Thanks!
