Great episode.....but
Loved it.....one question though....it didn't seem to continue where it left off on epi 1...and it didn't sync with previously on 3 way... the material shown was not part of the first episode. Not that I mind it but was wondering if that's how it's gonna continue on...
Anywho....loved the behind the scenes...and OMG that finger I really dunno but me personally I wouldn't wanto to go one on one with that thing...I'd think my skin would jump right off me and start running for sweet salvation! ewww but still funny as hell:)
Previously on/Next on
The "previously on" and "next on" scenes in these episodes are like the ones on Arrested Development — they have nothing to do with previous or future episodes. They're just stand-alone funny bits.

Just wanted to thank everyone for laughing at and loving 3Way. And thanks for coming along on our ride -- as Sarah explained the Previously On and Next On scenes (or as we like to call them PO/NOs) are our way to get out some more funny that doesn't have to fit in the narrative of a single episode. The confessionals do that for us, as well. Our webisode length is in keeping with most scripted content on the internet -- blame the short attention span generation. We would love to make them longer, but that would cost us way more money and time, something we are short on at this moment. I agree with you, I wish we could get out more story -- and let's face it, we're all spoiled from the VBLOGS on AE that give us more than a half hour of fun and fabulous at every outing. So for now, we are stuck in the confines of scripted internet -- but here's the good news, we are figuring out how to put more funny on the site and wrap it around the webisodes. Oh, and it looks like we'll be shooting some more stuff in the next few weeks... Thanks for encourgaing us to keep going. xo

I thought that was weird too. I kept wondering if they had uploaded the right ep. It went "previously on 3way..." and then showed never seen footage. o_0
Still, loved the ep. Very funny, very entertaining and it really speaks to lesbians. I liked that lesbian culture guessing game, and the name references! I knew almost all. And it was nice hearing Jill say "Mariel Hemingway" knowing she did a movie with her. hehe
Jill, i like your acting! (yes, i saw that Celesbian ep) "Andrea" is a great character, i can't wait to see what will happen next.

Do I have to go to rehab for this one? I am begining to become an addicted. Can 3way be a daily epis? I need my fix. This episode was also brilliant. Since S.W. you mentioned Arrested Development style that 3way is using, will it too become a movie? That style is way funnier than any other.

I love the way the previously/next time ons are stand alone skits. I also love that the confessionals have a relative amount of autonomy in terms of timeline and humor (they are supplementry to the episodes but are funny on their own). I find 3way to move pretty fast, but it's a good thing. This is comedy evolved from the days of laugh tracks that dictated where one was supposed to stop and find something funny (now you can have jokes or comedic non-verbal interactions in the time where you before were supposed to pause and let the audience laugh obsequiously). Thanks for just doing your thing.
Also, Jill Bennett is frightening and brilliant in these episodes!

Now that THAT's cleared up...
I am a big fan of "Arrested Development", so I love the "previously on" and "next on" segments. In any case, I would not have been confused because it was done tongue and cheek. However, counter to the flow of every other video I have seen (vlogs) here on AfterEllen, you have the first episode at the bottom of the page and the episodes part 1, part 2 and then part 3 aren't grouped together. If you are considering short attention spans, you might consider this dummy who was trying to figure out what your show was about...and partially staying confused by the fact that the 3-Way had four people. All I really have to say that is not total praise is --please group the parts of episodes together for your own benefit and for ours. I was persistent and watched all of them because there is not much in the way of lesbian entertainment and because I am a fan of Jill and Maive. With each episode, I became more entertained and resigned that my confusion over the name of the show would gently persist until someone had a 3-way. At first, I thought it was just going to be confessionals and no plotlines because I watched the first thing I saw, then I skipped down and watched the first thing that said "episode" which was part 3 of the "Gaymes". I watched that FIRST. There was definitely a better way of getting into your show, and organization/clarity may have helped greatly. Brilliant job on the writing, acting, shooting, editing and location. I have seen cruder things at the Laemmle. I think you women have a highly advanced sense of what is funny and are brave enough to put yourself way WAY out there (ha ha thank God for the strength in numbers).
Maximum visibility is what it's gonna take, so I put my two cents in. Take it with the love intended. Thankyou for all your hard work. Bet it was SO much fun.

This show is HILARIOUS! I've seen every ep except for the Finale, and they have all been great! Maile Flanagan, you are amazing. You and your character are the funniest, hands down.
And amazing Mrs. Robinson spoof. I've always wanted to live that movie out (minus marrying the boring girl at the end. It's Mrs. Robinson all the way.)
