Sweetie darlings, you will absolutely love this!

I know it’s not my birthday, but can it be just for today? The ENTIRE series of Absolutely Fabulous is now available on DVD and I think it would make the perfect gift for the AbFab fanatic in your life. (If you don’t happen to have an AbFab fanatic directly in your life then please allow me to step in and fill that roll for you. Please, I insist.) The new limited edition collection called Absolutely Everything is a nine-disc compilation of seasons one through five, plus various special episodes including “The Last Shout,” “The New York Specials” and “White Box” – not to mention tons of bonus footage and outtakes. Bloody brilliant!

I own some of the seasons on DVD already, but I have to say I am a sucker for pretty packaging so reinvesting in the series is definitely worth it. (That stitching alone would make La Croix envious.) The DVD contains over 19 hours of Patsy (Joanna Lumley) and Edina’s (Jennifer Saunders) substance/alcohol abuse and political incorrectness. So if you are ready for a AbFab-a-thon, make yourself a bolly and settle in with you favorite dysfunctional Brits. Cheers!

    Finally some attention for this, haha! I'm like one of Jen's biggest fans haha! Absolutely adore everything she does. Such a brilliant writer:p Damn, I gotta have this collection, although I already have every episode. It never stops being funny.

    OH YAY!  My fave was when Saffron was bought by a slave trader when they were in Morocco, where Patsy once had a sex change operation.

    Will save my pennies for this compilation

    I think Jennifer Saunders is so smart and funny. If you guys ever get a chance there's this great BBC show that was 6 episodes called Clatterford- it has an AMAZING cast of British actresses and most of the episodes were written by Saunders.

    best scene ever: when Patsy and Eddie were all gothic coz they've been to a Marilyn Manson concert! HILARIOUS!

    This show  came around just after I was born so I pretty much watched it growing up (not that i've done that yet) not too happy when it ended :(

    Best scene with Whoopi Goldberg ''V on V'' in the episode 'Gay' LMAO! or when the phone is ringing ''Is it a bee?'' ''Oh, its a small shoe''.

    Possibly one the best things to from the 90's (Oh, and me of course!).

    I battled with this dilemma cause I own 5 seasons myself... but we  you know what?we deserve this. We all work so hard and buy ourselves so little.  A small splurge on an adorable 'keepsake' that if kept in the mintiest of condition could be valuable some day and then we would reap the financial reward of our investment. Ok....I think Ive convinced myself at least...Im off to the shoppes!

    I actually have aunts who live like Patsy and Edina so its doubly hilarious for my family. Also when my girlfriend and I are at a stop light I always yell "Go Eddie!"

    I've been watching pats and eddie for years.  There is not an espisode i don't love.  so happy to have this compilation!  finally they are getting their just rewards!  well, and emmy would be just rewards but bloody hell, i think it may be too late for that.  ok let's mix us up a bolly and stoli and grab a fag and a bag of crisps and have a sit to watch it all. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...one favorite moment, when eddie's dad dies and pats and eddie go to the funeral and end up fallling into empty graves. bahhhhhhhhhhahahaha!

    They have released a 6 disc set of series 1-6 of French and Saunders though apparently it doesn't include the Christmas Specials which isn't good!!!!

    omg !!!!yes I want it, darling!!" sweetie ....do you know that yogie's can breathe out of every orfics? ".........that show is so classic! lov it!! "Pasty ,darling hasn't eat food since 1974...she lives off of pills and vodka." funny episode when pasty and eddie are stoned out of their minds and thinks her long lost son is contacting her meanwhile police arrive at the door ..".our friends with the talking broaches.."..sorry i know that is random...same thing happens to me with monty python......I just start quoting. its hard to name the funneist episode ........they are all fucking hillarious. But I do like the early ninties episodes. Those are the so cool...especially those outfits......omg!!!! I know the funniest episode was when ......Endina's exhusbands wife went on about religion........"the jews have alllah, the buddust have budda, BUT WE HAVE JESUS CHRIST!!!" on the floor with laughter...some one said limited box set...does anyone know the limited number produced?

    I am a HUGE Jen Saunders fan. I already own most of this series, but I will have to buy the limited edition. Everything she's done is fantastic, and hilarious. In fact, I definitely have designs to marry her one day... Why didn't she make the afterellen hot 100 list?

    So I'll definitely fork out ridiculous amounts of cash on this.

    I credit this show, along with reruns of The Kids in the Hall, for really helping me get through a breakup. Both shows were rerun on Comedy Central ad nauseum back then and I just kept watching and laughing my asss off.

    Jen Saunders is a real comedic savant. One of my top 3 Funny Women along with Tracey Ullman and Tina Fey.

    French and Saunders should also be released as a boxed set.

    Same for me. A very bad break-up was remedied by watching the tapes over and over. I also watched Jennifer's other gig, her sketch comedy series with Dawn French: French and Saunders. If you haven't seen French and Saunders, you should definitely check it out. I like it better than AbFab. Dawn French is equally amazing.

    what  a delight!!! I always catch it when I see it's on BBC America but I must invest in this DVD collection.  Finally some well deserved homage is being paid to this "absolutely fabulous" show (no pun intended)

    This is my favorite show of all time, it was the show that introduced me to the wonderful world of British Comedy i love so much!

    I have all the dvd's but i am definitely buying this.  Now they have to do it with F&S!

    Every bit the woman in her cardie and glasses!  For Julia Sawalha I'd come out in an instant.  And that lovely British accent!  To this day my weakness is sensible women with spectacles.
