Ali Larter: Straight girls need U-Hauls too

Ali Larter, lately known for her Resident Evil: Extinction success, as well as her role on an obscure television show you may have heard of (let's call it Heroes), is featured in the October issue of that highly esteemed home of journalistic integrity, Cosmopolitan.

In the interview, Larter notes, "I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow." Well, I for one enjoy knowing that Larter is more or less living the heterosexual version of the age-old lesbian stereotype (or tradition, depending on who you ask). It's about as close to her being gay as I think we're going to get, which is unfortunate, because, well:

Larter also get bonus points for her approach to diet and exercise (balance and moderation, according to the Cosmo article) and her involvement with the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty.

MIA from last night's episode of Heroes, Niki/Jessica will make their (her?) season 2 debut on next week's episode. Spoilers for Resident Evil: Extinction coming up!

Other good news for Larter fans and fans of ass-kicking women in general: There are rumblings and murmurs about Larter possibly starring in a potential Resident Evil 4, which would center on her character, Claire Redfield.

Here's a clip of Ali in Resident Evil: Extinction. A little warning — you might want to turn your speakers down a bit, unless you're into loud bird screeching:

    who decided

Who decided to remake 'The Birds' and not tell anyone...?

    Nobody. It's a 10ish minute

Nobody. It's a 10ish minute scene in a big ole zombie action movie. The Birds wasn't even the first version of the killer-birds story. So really someone should ask: Who decided to remake that episode of Danger? Again?

There's talk of a The Birds remake for 2009, which I'm sure will suck. But this definitely wasn't it.

    Is it me??

Or is she starting to look too thin?  She has always been beautiful (Drive Me Crazy and Legally Blonde) and always thin but not model thin.  At first I thought it was the picture but then I looked at her at the Emmy's too.  Probably me.  But she did kick ass as Claire Redfield in RE3, wish we saw more of her.

    Yay for Ali

First: Yeah, i also thought of The Birds, but then again, I think I saw that film (the original) at far too young an age and it scarred me for life. I just know that after I see RE3 this weekend I'm gonna be twitchy for days.

Second: Yay for Ali! I'm glad RE3 is bringing her some attention, because she sure as heck ain't getting the proper respect from the Heroes fandom (or producers). Feh on them.

    The Bird Thing

For everyone's information, the crows are a big part of the Resident Evils games as well as the rabid dogs which were featured in RE2. That's why they are in the movie but it's not what the movie is about.

She'll always be the whipped cream bikini girl to me

My first exposure to Ali was in Varsity Blues and I've loved her ever since. For obvious reasons. :-)

I found her particularly cute with dark hair in Final Destination.

With the way Res Evil 3 ended there better be a 4th! Just sayin...I'm all for more Ali, but the movie wouldn't be the same without Mila leading the way. *sigh* Mila

As for the birds...that scene was awesome. Of course Mila steals it with no effort...

I am what I am. Love me or hate me. Just consider me.
