Dude, that re-enactment totally summed up the entire series in five minutes. Good job. Well, except you forgot a pair of short shorts/Huggies for Domenico, but I think we're all better off without that in our lives.

Oh, and the show has just started airing in Australia this week...Tila got one of the shortest interviews I've ever seen in TV Week to promote it. I think it's because nobody knows who she is.

Anyhow, all these reality dating shows...I don't know, to me it just seems like an overblown Pokemon episode... "Whatsyourface, I choose you!"

And, hey; they're both stupid trends that haven't died yet, even long after their expiry date. What's even more pathetic was that side-show that A Shot At Love got...The Hangover. "Okay, folks! You've just seen the episode, so now let's show you the same footage again with a cheesy host in between!" Uh, no...Desperation much? Not that I ever thought MTV was at the top of the hill, or even making camp far up the slope, but however far up the hill MTV was, it seems to have really gone down. Far down.

Dani did sort of benefit from being on the show; if she were the type to like sex with A LOT of different women.

I thought the makeup and crap was just for the photo shoot. Tila wanted both of them to experience her work; that included makeup and costumes. That's probably how she convinced Dani to do it. If you notice on ANTM, the makeup on film looks totally ridiculous but in print it looks less drastic. If those photos are going to be published somewhere, the makeup was warranted. Dani wouldn't have looked right without it; especially next to Tila. She actually kinda reminded me of Jackie Warner. Although, they could have given Dani one of those Amazon outfits from Xena Warrior Princess. mmm, let me reflect on that and get back to you :)

I agree with you ladies a 100% about that show. Can't access your part 2: reunion. Part I was a stop and go.

I'm so glad your back, especially since i needed some lo-down to make mmy blood pressure lower after sur a horrifying finale! 

I was watching it on youtube, getting more and more livid by the minute. And i'm glad i'm not insane thinking Tila become weird again in that episode. I mean she literally said (and please tell me if i'm wrong) "I finally got it, got my man" I was like O.o aren't you bi? Should you not jsut say you found hte love of your life.

And then i remembered that this was sucky reality-tv show, and of course shes going to chose bobby with who she has like zero chemistery compared to Dani (i mean, my friend only saw the flashback montage and she was as confuse as I was, has to how she could have chosen him over her.) And i'm glad you two are there to finalise that because it was painful to watch! And i'm glad i wanst the only one completly confuse, going back in forth about the illogicality of it all!

I know Dani probably didn't like having to wear the makeup, clothes, etc, but I doubt Bobby was happy to have to wear a loincloth in public either.   Although, "Mr. I've never had sushi-been in a hotel-swum with dolphins" might have seen it as another one of his farm boy gets to experience life adventures.

I was totally ready to start yelling because ya'll sucked me into this show!! But, I can't!! Malinda was just as betrayed and hurt and angry as I was. i was hoping ya'll would reenact the last 5 minutes your reaction of Tila picking Bobby. I will paint a scene of mine:

I am watching it with 3 other people and were all leaning in to the tv and Tila says " I choose you........ BOBBY!!" And then" AAAUUGGHHH@#@$@%!!! Son of a B@#$!! What the F@#$!! That is BULL!!!! What tha CRAP!!! MotherF@#$!" One of my friends wants Dani's number and to go to florida and find her and one of them said she knew Bobby was going to win and I am just shocked. My other friend is on the phone cause she bet someone 2 dollars that Dani would win. Then, we all quiet down and watch Dani's saddness. Then, I cursed some more.

This show was really SKANTASTIC!! It was so bad but we all were suckered into it. Atleast I know I was not alone. Thank you, Malinda and Sarah in sharing the horror, A Shot of Love.... now I need some tequila.

I don't read Tila's blog, so I'm glad Malinda gave us the explanation offered there as to why Tila didn't choose Dani. It made absolutely no sense to me otherwise. Tila needs therapy.

Malinda, I loved your rant.

My final thoughts:

1) I know she was hurt, but Dani really dodged a bullet here.

2) Sarah is so right, that is so NOT Tila's house, unless, in addition to her other 'talents', she is also dealing crack!

3) Dani defutched- just proof positive that by the time of the finale she was really into Tila. See comment 1.

I was distracted by Malinda's cleavage also. This isn't the only vlog with such treats THERE ARE OTHERS!!!!

When I saw Dani with makeup on I KNEW she wasn't going to win. If Tila REALLY cared about her (Dani) Tila would have stood up to the producers and made sure that Dani could be the "futch" she is. If you ask me.....I know you didn't, but let's pretend.... Tila picked Bobby because she could have her cake and eat it too. Bobby is a love sick puppy who would do ANYTHING Tila asked him to do.

 Picture this......After the show is over and the camera's are gone Tila could easily say to Bobby that she "loves him" and wants a threesome (with another woman of course). I think Bobby would jump at the chance to make Tila, and himself happy. Tila would NEVER be able to do that with Dani. .............I'm talking about a threesome with a man.

If we're lucky this relationship with Bobby will go the path of all other reality show relationships have gone........nowhere!!

First of all, Malinda does have great breasts and cleavage. I love the Polo sweater thing and the peek-a-boo bra combination; very nice. I kept thinking, I need to find a woman who looks good in a top like that. Then she kept leaning over while reaching for things. As you can see from the profile picture I am not a white male so my admiration stems from an appreciation of aesthetically bpleasing breasts and not from some subconscious Asian fetish.

Onward and upward, reality TV or not, the ending of this B.S. that passed as a show is one of the reasons why I dislike and distrust bisexuals. Until very recently I had never met a bisexual woman who settled, for an extended period of time, with another woman. From my experience, bisexuals play around for a bit and then jump ship for a dude (usually around the time they begin to hear their biological clocks ticking) leaving some heartbroken lesbian in their wake. Bad news. Whether or not Tila is a true bisexual aside the ending is usually the same.

I may post a less raunchy, more logical post later but I really empathized with Dani and felt her pain, especially when she had to sit there and listen to Tila tell Bobby she loved him. Craptastic end to a craptastic show.

So I just posted this in Karmen's recap comments so if you already read it feel free to ignore the rest of this post! But in case different ppl are reading, I have just got to say again that I am now thoroughly unconvinced that this show is far from reality. I noticed that in the previews and commercials for the finale when Tila runs after Dani she shouts "wait" twice but in the actual finale she only shouts, "Dani, wait!" once and doesn't say the word wait again. My bs detecter went up and I am thinking this show is at least partially scripted and filmed in multiple takes. At least where Tila is concerned.

Malinda totally voiced my other comment which was that the show went from evolving to bisexuality being about the person, not the gender back to it being about the gender w/ Tila's last comment, "I chose a man!" What was the point of her going on and on about her realizations that it was about the person, not a man or a woman, only to end w/ that statement???? Grrrr.

Oh btw for any Dani fans in the NY area, I just found out she's going to be at the HRC L word premiere party this yr Jan 6th. I forget the name of the club, I think it's Pacha? Or Pancha? Something w/ a P, you can find it on the HRC site I'm sure. Hopefully I'll be dragging my pregnant butt there, I was going to skip it this yr but now that I know she's going to be there, I really want to go!

Oh I loved that you guys were getting into Tila's psychological and abandonment issues(of which I agree she has many). And I hope that the two of you don't need therapy now after the show, you seemed pretty traumatized by it lol. Anyway, enjoy your holidays and time off and remember to lay off the tequila!;)

My friend and I (both of us are bisexual women) slapped our foreheads over Ms. Tila Tequila. I mean, awesome that it's a bisexual woman of color on a dating show, but...dude, it just wasn't right. I think the whole show was a big mistake. I was excited when you suggested an all bisexual show- I mean wow! The guys here were not even worth keeping past the second round. I would have felt better if she eliminated four guys one day, instead of evening out the eliminations, man/woman. I love men, but most of those guys disgusted me- I would have kept maybe 65% of the women. Then I'd choose Dani!

I believe that it is possible for bisexual women to settle down with other women. Tila might not be that type of bisexual. I thought she liked Dani but I guess I was wrong. Dani can do so much better. She's got Futch Appeal!

And yeah, MTV sucks for giving Domenico his own show. Who the hell wants him?? Make mine Futch!

You guys are great!  After watching the actual Reunion show I have to say you guys pretty much nailed it in the reenactment (with a LOT more flair, of course).   Why i actually watched the "Reunion" show, well...  I don't know, but Dani did get her last shot in at Tila.

Malinda even though my eyes were elsewhere on your person, I listened to every word you said.
