San Francisco AfterEllen.com Meet-Up Photos

Last Sunday, much fun was had by all who attended the AfterEllen.com Meet-Up in San Francisco. Karman Kregloe, Bridget McManus, Malinda Lo and Sarah Pecora were in attendance, and a guest appearance was made by She Got Me Pregnant vloggers Dana and Helen. Here are some of the pictures from the meet-up to give you a taste of what went on (I'm leaving out photos of what happened after the Jell-O shots arrived!).

Apologies in advance if you were there and you don't see yourself. I tried to include as many different folks as possible but I know I missed a lot of you. Thanks so much for coming out and meeting up!

Looks like a great time was had by all who attended the meet and greet in SF. I wish Sarah and Malinda went to NYC for the meet up so I could've have met them too.

That my friends is the Asian glow that I am sporting after 1 drink that got me a wee bit drunk. Thanks to everyone for making my first trip to San Francisco warm and inviting. I am seriously looking into moving here in the future. Malinda's Asian/Non-Asian Posse, otherwise known as MANAP. Fabulous.

Looks like a lot of fun, just like we had in NYC. Sorry Malinda and Sarah weren't there but we did have a good crowd of AE peeps there.

So Karman, hard to see in those photos but what is your new tatoo? Kind of looks a little like a tiger. Do tell!!

I know I'm nitpicking, but only about one-third of the US population live in the middle. Maybe it's shifted somewhat, but as of the year 2000, 38% lived in states bordering the Atlantic Ocean, 16% along the Pacific Ocean and 12% by the Gulf Coast. And yes, SF and LA are loads of fun. Visit us.

It all felt sort of surreal at first but I had a blast with everyone there. It'd be nice to keep in touch, especially since I missed the Gelateria meetup *smacks forehead* haha Message me for myspace if youd like. My aim is jadorevindoux.

And as for the loverly AE ladies...you are all MORE than welcome in my beloved city by the bay SF! <3 THANKS AGAIN AND COME BACK SOON

I was about 4 miles away from the meet-up but I was stuck at my orientation for SFSU. All I could think about was that Bridget and Karman were 4 miles away. Oh well, I'll get over my self-pity party and hopefully I'll catch you guys next time. Pleeeease let there be a next time!!!:) Thanks for making my formative years in a conservative homophobic neighborhood sooo much easier. This website reminds me there is a world outside my bubble. MUCH LOVE

Those are great pictures. I am sooooo bummed I couldn't make it. Looks like you all had a really crazy time of it, eh? And I can't believe I missed out on meeting not only Malinda, Sarah P., Bridget & Karman, but also vloggers Dana & Helen and the illustrious Jenni Olson! (I do so admire her work). Blar! I just hope I can shake this stupid cold before SF pride this weekend. Looking forward to Bridget & Karman's videotaped misadventures in our fine jewel by the bay.

Ooh it looks like so much fun! I love how real everyone is. Does that make sense? Probably not. I mean I love how you guys just talk and hang with everyone, it's so amazing =).

I still want to go to San Francisco sometime, and I still want to attend an AE meeting someday...so please do this again someday in the far far future? ;)

Just looking at that clip from lockanload it looks like it was such a relaxed 'taking over' party.It's so cool that you take the time and effort to meet the afterellenfans^^

Still waiting for an Afterellen meeting in Amsterdam. ^^, although if I wouldn't have exams next week I would have gone to the Paris meeting !
