Leisha Hailey responds to our Hot 100 List

After you voted Leisha Hailey No. 1 on our Hot 100 list, we passed the news onto Ms. Hailey herself, and she was gracious enough to let us know how it made her feel. Here's her response to topping the list:

Wow, I don't even know what to say. I hope Angelina's not mad at me. I have to say this really makes up for the time I was on the Homecoming Court in High school with my boyfriend (yes I had one) and he won and I didn't. So thanks to everyone. I'll try and keep up my hottness.

    Ah, the pics.  Sigh.  She looks so incredibly hot in the second picture.  I love girls with guitars.

    Her comment was so cute!  I can't wait until Season 5 so she'll be back on my screen.

    Oh gosh I don't know how to work the comments on this thing. I can only reply to other comments lol. Anyways, thats really sweet!! I'm glad shes happy we voted her number one. I've had a huge crush on her ever since I saw her on The L Word lol.

    Ohhh Sisters nightclub.. I remember those weekends I spent driving and gaying it up in Philly, because I was tired of these damn Manhattan girl bars.

    But on to the real comment. Who remembers her from the Dannon commercials? Also, she seems to be the only one on the L word that actually keeps it going. She's funny, intelligent and a has fun with her charachter on there. I liked the girls but she is what keeps me tuned in.

    That and I hope Better and Tina get back together.

    How amazing is it that she replied personally. if it was Ms Lohan *shudder* that had won - not that she ever would, mind you - i doubt that she would 'stoop' to reply at all, and if she did it sure wouldnt be personally.

    How cute and how witty and how pretty!!  Leisha deserves to be #1 for being out and for being so willing to go for broke as an actress - she has been awesome as both a comic actress and was especially moving in the scenes around Dana's illness and death.  She ain't just hot because she's beautiful on the outside - she's hot because she is so good at what she does.

    Leisha is so beautiful and hot. And the list made a big impact because today at 7 or 7:30pmET, can't remember, Afterellen's Hot 100 List made E's Daily 10 "news." They kind of seemed surprised Lohan was number 79 or whatever number she was.

    I've been semi-obsessed (in the non-stalkerish way) with Leisha since the early days when I caught her as the adorable pink haired hottie in "All Over Me" and then started listening to her music in The Murmurs.  Leisha is hotness personified.  
    Don't forget to check her out in her new music group UH HUH HER (http://www.myspace.com/uhhuhhermusic).  I purchased the first single from this group and have listened to it over and over lately.
    I loved her in the lesbian short films "Size Em Up" and "Sleeping Beauties" and the new Clea Duvall directed short "It's Not Easy Being Green" (thanks for the You Tube link to this gem, AFTER ELLEN crew)!
    I can't wait to see what Leisha does next... she brings out the best in everyone who works with her and she can truly do it all... act in comedy and drama, sing, play the guitar... all while oozing sex appeal in a package of utter cuteness.
