I should really stop watching this vlog at work. Unexplained bursts of laughter while pretending to watch important work media files are a wee bit hard to explain, or so I've just discovered.

 Which is my way to say you guys rock.  

Have to go with Jill on the 'which hole' Q – if only for the lack of 'second-hole-first-time-grimace'. I mean, a certain amount of 'ouch' is expected, No?   

Oh, and a small shout-out to all you creative crafts-women: since Jill is so kind to offer close-ups of cool products, don't you think you owe us her an opportunity to show off different kinds of goods? Like, say, hand-made bras maybe? Just saying..

Great as usual.  Maile as a substitute, Awesome.  Though I still miss you Dara.  Just a few things:

I'm thinking everytime you guys do a vlog you should totally crank up the heat. Woo.  Sidenote: How funny was it when Jill spilled her own drink? (sorry Jill)

I'm also glad someone else liked that whole Denbo scene.  It was f-cking hilarious and your guys' reenactment of it was completely hilarious.  Especially Maile forgetting everything and proclaiming as JB "I'm hot".

I have to say Entry 2.  I was leaning towards entry 1, (Jill's powers of persuasion), but remembered Max identifies as a man and although he never went through surgery, he never took his shirt off.  Also it kind of look like it hurt when Max grabs Tom's back.

That whole Alice apology scene and Shane's obvious stupidity was well... for me kinda of funny.  Okay before all the bad posts come my way... let me explain.  It was supposed to be a serious apology, I get that but as Maile said the L Word has at times become such a PSA itself, that it was somewhat of a relief that they didn't do it that way.  (Plus it kind of summed up MAx's time on the L Word, so marginalized)  I'm not saying that wasn't a serious issue.  It so is.  It's just I don't think Shane (why would they give her a camera) was very interested (and judging from some posts, a good number of people might feel the same ) and I suspect the writers were trying to portray just that.  The division among the LGBT community even when the oppurtunity presents itself to help rectify the situation. Just like I suspect that a lot of the PSAs they do tend to go in one ear and out the other with some people (especially if it doesn't pertain to them).   It doesn't make them transphobic just ill advised(?), unconcerned(?), or self involved(?).  I'm not really sure I worded that right maybe it's making sense in my head.  Sorry.

I came to watch TLW for TiBette but this season completely rocks my socks off.  I love Mia this season and Keener is soo awesome.  This is one of my fave eps of the entire series.

Im voting on entry #2 because I think he identifies as a HE and Tom is gay so why would he go anywhere else?

I was also annoyed at the half apology and bad camera work.  I would have found Shanes camera work amusing IF it was during a regular vlogpodcast and not one that was fairly important.  Transphobia isnt new in the gay community, its annoying and wrong.

Obviously The L Word's portrayal of a trans character is extremely flawed. In addition, the rest of the characters are extremely transphobic. What bugs me even more than that, though, is people's assumptions that because someone is trans, they can make ridiculous assumptions and ask ridiculous questions about their body parts, who they're attracted to, and how they have sex. You wouldn't ask a cisgendered (not transgendered) person those questions. Furthermore, sex, gender identity, and sexuality are different. Sex is biology. Gender is socially constructed. Gender identity is how you view yourself- as a man, woman, both, neither, something else, or all of the above. Sexuality is who you're attracted to, and that isn't based on our sex, or our gender, but those things certainly contribute to the labels people put on us and we put on ourselves. If someone identifies as a man, then he's a man. Do not call him a she (as other people have done on this website). His body parts have nothing to do with who he's attracted to. So jill, who posted this comment earlier:

"Well, you can look at it this way.... the first whole technically means he's straight and if it was the second he know identifies as a gay man...... but since he never got the operations....he's kinda straight."

Which ever "hole" (because that is how you spell that word) Tom "put the condom in" has nothing to do with Max's identity or his sexuality. Operations have nothing to do with it.

That is SOO cool that you like Drop Dead Gorgeous! It's so quotable! I swear my family references it on a daily basis! You guys rock!

Personally, I thought it was entry 1, only because of how quickly it happened. Which confused me since Max identifies as male. Whatever floats..

I couldn't decide between Captain Caveman and Hung Kung Phooey for my ass tattoo, but it would definitely be one of those.

Lastly, I'm 25 so I also saw Grease 2 before Grease 1 and had a HUGE crush on Michelle Pfiffer (which is strange because I almost always pick a brunette) because of the "cool rider" scene. As if I needed another reason to want to "familiarize" myself with Jill. I too want a rider that's cool ;)

I agree with everything you said about Tootsie, Jessica Lange, Grease, Michelle Pfeiffer and Olivia Newton John.  Although I rated the first Grease higher than the second one.  Watched the second one because of Michelle Pfeiffer (who BTW is NOTHING compared to Jill Bennett).  This vlog certainly made me think back to when I was a kid, when I was not telling my parents why exactly I was watching these films over and over, mind you I did not know what was going on at the time myself!  Sure do now.
