We're Getting Nowhere: "The L Word" 5.12

This week marked the season finale of The L Word. And for such a grand occasion, we thought it fitting to invite our own posse of troublemakers to join us for our vlog. You can call them our "friends" if you like, but I prefer to think of them as "repeat offenders." (Or maybe both terms are correct.)

Accompanying us on the enchanted sofa this week are actresses Meredith Scott Lynn and Coley Sohn, and comedians Liz Feldman and Bridget McManus. We also had an unexpected visitor, a lovely girl whose car broke down in front of Jill's house. I don't think she knew what she was walking into when she asked to use the phone.

Strap yourself in (heh) for a trainwreck of a vlog. Too many women, too many opinions, too many mimosas. Need I say more?

    there is a person crawling around jill's apartment in the begining of the vlog!

    you can even see the reflection of this person in the pictures on jill's wall,it's weird..

    anyway now i'll see the whole thing,just wanted to say that..

    Loved the wrestling match between Bridget and Jill. Woo-hoo! Hot-hot-hot!

    Jill cracked me up when she told Karman she smelled like her grandpa... Given the fact that Jill and her grandpa are close that could be a compliment, eh?

    What was Karman drinking anyway? A drink called "Flirt"? "ARE THEY KISSING?!" *lol*

    Btw I saw the crawling person, too. She also handed Karman another drink. Could that be Meredith Scott Lynn? Cos she participated in the reinactments.

    And how cool is Keener? Dang!

    I love love love this eppy! although it was a little itsy bitsy teenee weenee chaotic, all of you did a great job!

    Fave parts:

    • When Dawn Denbo..err Keener walked in!!
    • The Jill and Bridget wrestling match
    • Liz's awkward moves on the dancefloor!! it was so adorable!!
    • The reenactments were awesome! good thing meredith didn't get injured during that nikki-on-the-railing scene!!
    • Karman. [Calvin Harris' song plays in my head "i get all the girls..i get all the girls" hehehe :P

    Oh how i wish i could be at the Dinah Shore event...

    Can't wait for the next vlog (2 weeks? ouchhhh) I wonder what its gonna be about...take care guys!

    coley... And Liz.... and the Terrible Three... and the possibility of not having another We're Getting Nowhere until God knows when.... how is it possible to be filled with so much excitement and be crying tears of sadness.

    oh wait FOOKIN KEENER!  This can not get any better!  Wait special guest appearnces by Meredith and Luna!   Over load!  You guys go out in style.

    How awesome was it that everything got thrown out the window when Keener showed up and it turned out Karman was such the bad girl in this piece.  The immediate reprimanding from both Jill and Bridget had me in stitches.  "Separate them!"  The reenactments of the Bette/Tina dance and the tampoon wearing speech were equally just as awesome.

    "You smell like my grandpa" LOL  ANd Jill you totally got  your ass whomped by Bridget.  Sorry but "hella awesoome."  Favorite vlog by far.  So sad to see it go for 2 weeks or whatev (judging by the looks on Dara's face everytime Jill said 2 weeks).  And deeply sad I won't be able to attend "Vagina Shore"

    Keener is F--kin awesome and I so hope she still has a job, but thanx for risking it just to appease us simple ladies at Afterellen.

    Also, lol at azngirl's comment!!!

    Jill and Bridget fighting was the funniest - also the beginning angle with everyone watching from the sofa was great!

    I also loved how Karman & Keener were like the 2 naughty school kids at the back of class, Double D has been replaced by Double K =D

    Have fun at Dinah you guys...I'm sure it'll be kick ass... Jill maybe you should keep Karman away from the "Mohitio Madness", especially if Keener is around!

    Thats the only way to watch this vlog! Re-watch it several times focusing on one person each time! My ears are ringing!

    You ladies sure know how to go out in style! I'm in love with Keener, they so better have DD in the next season of L Word, but if they don't she should be a regular on WGN! Oh and Bridget and Jill wrestling...hot!!!! Bridget totally kicked Jill's ass though!

    Don't keep us waiting too long for the next vlog! <3

    OMG! I think they did enough drinking for all of us! Damn it, that was funny. They didn't even need anything to talk about (like they kept on topic anyway) that should just be a whole new vlog, the 7/8 of them ripping the piss out of each other. FUNNY.

    I don't even know where to begin, I'm sure I missed half of it. I love Bridget sat in the corner drawing attention to herself by licking sock puppets and photos. She's genius.

    That was SO freakin' hilarious. I love how Karman is a bad influence on everyone and how good and on topic Bridget and Keener were when they sat next to Jill.

    The fight... that should just be an hour long vlog on its own. McManus vs. Bennett: for Lesbian Supremacy. Who will end up on top? My money is on Bridget.

    I'm off to watch it again.

    That fight was... amazing! LOL, I adore Bridget, and I didn't know she was that strong!! OMG, she surprised me... I loved how she got all quiet in the end when she was next to karman.

    That whole sock thing was freakin genius!

    I adore them all... and Keener DEFINITELY made my day!!

    Karman reminds me of when i was a kid swapping notes in class and doing other stuff ;)

    i love how there was 3 conversations going on at once. it gives me a reason to watch this over and over :D

    wow, Jill can really give the evil eye!

    this was far better than the actual episode. loved the alternate ending

    p.s it wouldn't have been WGN without Luna in the background :D

    For serious, my neighbours have made complaints about the noise/manic laughter coming from my flat on wednesdays (and sundays, lol)

    But i don't mind, your vlog is totally worth being homeless for :D

    Hahahaha! That was crrrraaaazy! Although it took me well over an hour to decipher/comprehend that entire vlog, I have to say that what starts in chaos does ends in chaos (and FUN!) I love how poor Jill just gave up after she realized there was no reeling that in. Yet, she had an endless supply of zingers to go around. I couldn't stop laughing! However, I was kinda disappointed that no one mentioned how Kit channeled Jill when Helena came by the Planet (girl, girl girl girl girrrrl giiiirl!). It was a pleasant surprise that Keener stopped by! Definitely the cherry on the sundae that was already chocked full o'nuts. ;-) Definitely my favorite finale recap! I don't know what I'm going to do with my next two Wednesday mornings but I'm looking forward to what the WGN ladies will have in store for us when they come back.

    Now, where can I find one of those Afterellen tampoons?

    that was nuts. Kind of hard to follow at points, but i think Liz is hilarious, and Jill and Bridget and everyone just put togetther really cracked me up. I'm really gunna miss the weekly vlogs...i think the L word ones were the best i've seen since the beginning. Some of the recaps were priceless. ha plus Keener was fun to see

    It felt like I'd waited for ages to see this WGN, don't know if I can wait that long. I'm starting to think this obsessive behaviour is totally appropriate and not really obsessive enough not healthy, just can't get enough!

    Keener rocks!  This vlog reminded me of Christmas time w/the fam. A bunch of loud women all talking at the same time(Except in my case in Spanish). Yup just like Grammy's house. I could use another round of Jill vs. Bridget wrestling.
