Welcome to the "Dollhouse"It's safe to say that the mythical "long and winding road" doesn't lead to your door, it leads to Eliza Dushku's door at Dollhouse. Since the show's was first announced, we've kept you updated on the considerable production hiccups encountered by series creator Joss Whedon, made some helpful casting suggestions, and even taken you on a vicarious tour of the set. And now, as the Feb. 13 premiere date draws closer, FOX has made it possible for us to share with you a few new stills from some upcoming episodes. In the bank vault scene below, you'll be happy to note Dushku's return to her roots (aka clad in black leather pants):
Next, we see Echo (Dushku) running through the woods with a trusty walkie-talkie dangling from her pocket. (I think my mother has the same picture of me at home somewhere, though I was 30 pounds heavier and about 20 years younger than Eliza when it was taken.)
And from the look of the photo below, someone with extremely poor judgment took a swing at Echo and got blood all over her dainty little pullover. They have no idea who they're dealing with, do they?

I really like her leather pants.
However, Dollhouse sound familiar to me. But I don't think the show can ever be that good as Andrew Blake's Dollhouse.:)

1. Mutters: "This worked well for Bette Porter in that prison scene. Throw in leather pants and I'll have them creaming their ... ah ... butter. Well it will at least cement a safe lesbian following."
2. Thinking: "I can't believe Josh would try and create an episode based on the Blaire Witch movie ... A recreated Buffy episode would be better than this ..."

February 13 is marked on my calendar. I love Joss. It doesn't hurt that Eliza will be starring and we get to see Amy Acker again.

I can't wait another minute for this show. I'm hoping that Joss loves his lesbian fans enough (and I really think her does) to keep Echo's meeker personalities to a minimum. More guns and punching, please!
I still think the Bad Girls episode of Buffy should have been a three-parter at the very least. Of course, Buffy and Faith dancing at the Bronze should have lasted a full episode. I say its not too late for a do-over. ;)

I'm mightily excited about this show. If everything else Joss Whedon has ever done is anything to go by it should be awesome. Also very happy we'll be seeing Amy Acker again. She is quite adorable.
